  • “Consider homeworking to combat ‘Kraken’ variant, EU countries told” – European countries should consider a return to homeworking and the use of face masks to combat the spread of the new Covid variant, EU health officials have said – despite saying it poses a “low” risk for the population, the Telegraph reports.
  • “Poll: Cold sufferers should be able to use offices if they can’t WFH” – Research for MailOnline found 52% thought coughs and sniffles should not be a block on carrying out duties. Just 52%?
  • “Major boost for mRNA vaccines targeting ‘Disease X’” – Bill Gates’s vaccine funding body CEPI has invested in a project to develop “cheaper, more effective shots with fewer side effects”, according to the Telegraph, in a tacit admission of failure with the current batch.
  • “Pro-mask propaganda cranks up a couple of notches” – After a period of welcome sanity – where those covering their faces in community settings could accurately be described as a deviant minority – the pro-mask propaganda machine has gone into overdrive, writes Dr. Gary Sidley.
  • “German court orders Holocaust survivor to be sent to psychiatric institution for forced Covid shots” – LifeSite News with the shocking story that German authorities want to put famous Jewish composer and Holocaust survivor Inna Zhvanetskaya into a psychiatric clinic and force her to take the Covid injection.
  • “BioNTech (Not Pfizer) ‘Brazenly’ Dodged Safety Testing of COVID-19 Vax” – Robert Kogon writes in Brownstone of the safety shortcuts taken with the Pfizer vaccine – and stresses it was actually BioNTech not Pfizer which did it.
  • “Covid scientists and the best news money can buy” – Dr. Roger Watson and Dr. Niall McCrae in TCW on a dubious study that claims to find Covid causes seizures, but fails to state the vaccination status of participants.
  • “Qatar Study: How many people did Covid Vaccines Kill?” – The Naked Emperor looks at a new Qatar study in Nature which finds a vaccine mortality rate of one per 100,000 – noting this is a lower bound because it only includes deaths with no pre-existing conditions and within a few weeks of the injection. The median age of deaths is also 55, giving the study little relevance to risks for older folks.
  • “Thoughts on suspension of MP Andrew Bridgen for antisemitism relating to vaccine remarks” – Watch Professor Emeritus Norman Fenton say that, as a Jew, he sees nothing anti-Semitic in the MP’s remarks.
  • “Anti-Vaccine MP Andrew Bridgen is not an Antisemite!” – Igor Chudov, who is Jewish, calls the Bridgen witch hunt a “ridiculous smear campaign”.
  • “Christian Drosten, after declaring the pandemic over in December, decides that actually it’s not over in January, as Germany begins to end all remaining general mask mandates” – “What the Drostens of the world tell you about the Science is nothing but a collection of lies and half-truths to justify their favoured policies,” says Eugyppius.
  • “The evidence showing the Covid vaccine is safe” – Tom Whipple’s latest regime propaganda in the Times.
  • “More evidence that American data may badly overstate the protection mRNA shots offer against hospitalisation from Covid” – Alex Berenson reports on an internal database from two suburban Chicago hospitals that confirms unvaxxed hospitalisations are being inflated by lumping them in with ‘unknowns’.
  • “The TTE Data Snapshot – Week 1” – Carl Heneghan and Tom Jefferson review the data on the current circulation of respiratory agents, which show a sharp drop in week 1 of 2023.
  • “BBC criticised for letting cardiologist ‘hijack’ interview with false Covid jab claim” – The Guardian reports that, according to “experts”, Dr. Aseem Malhotra’s “misguided” views linking Covid vaccines to excess heart disease deaths should not have aired on the BBC on Friday.
  • “The scientific case against face masks” – Three scientists make the case against the filthy rags in UnHerd, writing: “The press is once again promoting a measure proved to be ineffective.”
  • “‘The defence of liberty is a state of mind’ – interview with Jonathan Sumption” – Emma Park in the Freethinker interviews Jonathan Sumption on the catastrophic consequences of lockdown, why no one in Government ever asked what those costs might be, and what it was like being one of few public figures to speak out against it.
  • “US Climate Is Getting Less Extreme, Not More” – Paul Homewood in WUWT continues to counter the ‘attribution study’ climate nonsense.
  • “Korea Curbs Plans for Renewables in Push For More Nuclear” – Bloomberg reports on another country returning to some sense.
  • “London borough defies Sadiq Khan by refusing to install ULEZ cameras” – A rebel council promised to fight the mayor’s “outrageous” plan, reports the Telegraph.
  • “‘The choice was to retire or to push back on the wokery and get kicked out’” – Telegraph readers share their stories of facing wokery in the workplace and needing to get out.
  • “Hamline University may lose accreditation in Prophet Muhammad row” – An attorney sent a complaint to the Higher Learning Commission saying the liberal college was “failing to protect the academic freedom” of Professor Erika López Prater when it ended her contract for showing an image of Muhammad, the Mail reports.
  • “Don’t Ban Depictions of Muhammad From the Classroom” – Amna Khalid writes on Persuasion that as a Muslim and an educator, she “condemns Hamline University’s crackdown on speech”.
  • “Virtue-signalling Disney has painted a target on its back” – Disney must stop obsessing over ‘ESG issues’ if it is to halt its dramatic decline, writes Ben Marlow in the Telegraph.
  • “All the changes Disney has made to become more woke” – The Mail takes a look back at all the woke changes the company has implemented recently – from dressing Minnie Mouse in a pantsuit to slapping a racism warning before its old movies.
  • “This House Believes Woke Culture Has Gone Too Far” – Watch Toby defend the motion at the Oxford Union.
  • “Returning the Elgin Marbles to Greece would be an act of historic vandalism” – William Atkinson argues in CapX that George Osborne’s proposal should “horrify not only his fellow Tories, but anyone with even a passing interest in history” as it would be “an act of vandalism, based on spurious historical and legal arguments, that would fatally undermine a world-leading museum”.
  • “NHS staff caring for Tavistock trans children to get training by Mermaids” – An NHS Trust taking over care of trans children from the Tavistock clinic is being trained by controversial charity Mermaids, the Telegraph reveals.
  • “NHS U-turns on transgender plans for maternity care after midwives revolt” – Those who opposed the ‘gender inclusive training’ said it was a ‘watershed moment’ for staff rooting out trans ideology from the inside, reports the Telegraph.
  • “Cardiologist says likely contributory factor to excess cardiovascular deaths is Covid mRNA vaccine and rollout should be suspended pending an inquiry” – “We did it. We broke mainstream broadcast media,” tweets Dr. Assem Malhotra, linking to his live BBC interview on Friday.
