by Will Jones

  • “Rishi Sunak has no idea how appallingly broken the NHS is” – Allison Pearson in the Telegraph responds to the revelation that the PM uses a private GP who gives same day appointments and provides an evening and weekend service, saying it is absurd that the NHS, which, by contrast, is performing so catastrophically should continue to merit such kid-glove treatment.
  • “Covid infected ‘more than 350,000 pet cats’ in Britain” – A study raises concerns the animals could prove an incubator for new variants, the Telegraph reports.
  • “Achill Island boy, 14, died three weeks after getting first dose of Pfizer Covid vaccine, inquest hears” – Independent.ie reports that an inquest has heard a 14-year-old boy died three weeks after his Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine after falling ill shortly afterwards.
  • “Share your experience” – The U.K. COVID-19 Inquiry would like you to share your experiences with them, apparently.
  • “Why Early Spread Matters” – If it was exposed, everything would have changed for the better and “the swamp might have really been drained”, argues Bill Rice Jr.
  • “After three years of studiously ignoring obvious patterns, The Science inches closer to acknowledging that viral interference is a thing” – Eugyppius is pleased to see a news article in Science that points to “a growing body of epidemiological and laboratory evidence” which suggests that “SARS-CoV-2 and other respiratory viruses often ‘interfere’ with each other”, thus removing the threat of a ‘tripledemic’.
  • “Global News: A Global Passport for Vaccines and Carbon Tracking” – They’re coming, warns Dr. Robert Malone.
  • “Huge – Norway does massive U-turn on boosters…” – PeterSweden with the news that although Norway has offered boosters to under 64s it has not recommended them.
  • “Myocarditis Misinformation From ‘Trusted Sources’” – Paul Bourdon in Brownstone with a thorough re-evaluation of the official claims about myocarditis risk following infection and vaccination.
  • “Cold homes and warm hearts” – Carl Heneghan and Tom Jefferson present the evidence that cold homes are harmful.
  • “Censor-Happy Leftist Yoel Roth Outlines Playbook to Restrain Free Speech on Twitter” – Yoel Roth, the rabidly anti-Trump former Twitter employee who briefly served as the site’s top censor, has penned an article for the New York Times explaining how a coalition of regulators and corporate interests can prevent Elon Musk from fully restoring free speech on the platform, reports Breitbart.
  • “Donald Trump and the blue-tick pricks” – Elon Musk’s overturning of woke censorship is a wonderful thing, says Brendan O’Neill in Spiked.
  • “Big Tech watches in awe as Elon Musk takes the axe to Twitter” – Elon Musk is making the sort of job cuts to a generation of tech giants that investors want to see in Google and others, writes Danny Fortson in the Times.
  • “Elon Musk will not let Alex Jones back on Twitter, saying: ‘My firstborn child died in my arms’” – The Twitter owner says he has “no mercy for anyone who would use the deaths of children for gain, politics or fame”, the Telegraph reports.
  • “It’s my call! Elon Musk admits he has the ultimate power at Twitter” – Addressing questions about the platform’s previously announced Content Moderation Council, the billionaire quashed suggestions that he does not have the final say over bans, the Mail reports.
  • “The Frank Report XLV” – Frank Haviland in the New Conservative with the latest edition of his weekly column.
  • “‘They can’t just identify and compete against women’: Caitlyn Jenner demands ‘woke’ rules change after biological male who ranked 72 on boys’ track team rockets to top of the girls’ table after transitioning” – The transgender ex-athlete opposes males competing against females, according to the Mail.
  • “Has Keir Starmer found the sweet spot in British politics?” – As the Labour leader tacks towards the socially conservative and outflanks the Tories on immigration, David Goodhart in the Spectator asks if the final obstacles in the way of a comfortable Labour victory at the next election are being swept away.
  • “Why is Eventbrite banning gender-critical women?” – Now Big Tech is stopping women from organising women’s rights meetings, says Sarah Phillimore in Spiked
  • “Critical race theory is being taught as fact” – Joanna Williams in Spiked says a new report proves once and for all that our schools have become places for indoctrination, not education.
