  • “Judge Orders Fauci to Cough It Up” – Jeffrey Tucker in Brownstone says with the order to turn over key communications between federal officials and the media we might gain a clearer look into the mysterious works of Fauci and his hold over public health discourse.
  • “Record number of child terror arrests after schools shut in lockdowns” – Counter-terrorism bosses are “most concerned” after police arrested 33 children in the 12 months to June 2022, up just over a third on last year’s 24, reports the Mail.
  • “More worrying data on menstrual changes following mRNA vaccination” – The Health Advisory and Recovery Team (HART) examines a new peer-reviewed paper on the effects of the Covid vaccines on menstruation, which found 40% of participants reporting changes.
  • “How many injections prevent one death? ” – HART looks at the data and finds the ‘number needed to treat’ for the vaccines is in most cases far in excess of the usual accepted maximum and unlikely to justify the injury rate.
  • “Australian Excess Deaths” – Carl Heneghan and Tom Jefferson note that Australia is seeing significant excess mortality, and it’s not all down to Covid.
  • “Deaths are soaring in one of the world’s most highly mRNA vaccinated areas” – Alex Berenson reports that deaths in the Australian state of Victoria, where 95% of adults have received Covid vaccines and most are boosted with mRNA shots, soared to their highest level in at least 13 years in August – far above the five-year average.
  • “Coronavirus (COVID-19): use of face coverings in social care settings including adult care homes” – The Scottish Government finally drops the requirement for staff to use face coverings in care homes.
  • “U.S. Government Data reveals every single Death due to Covid Vaccination was caused by just 4-5% of the Covid Vaccine batches produced but Medicine Regulators have refused to withdraw them” – The Exposé investigates the link between vaccine batches and adverse event reports and finds some surprising results.
  • “Why the office is good for you” – Stuart Major in TCW Defending Freedom mounts a defence of the workplace against the public health zealots and WFH crowd.
  • “For two years the British National Health Service transformed itself into the National Covid Service. Now the party is over and one in eight people in England are waiting for hospital treatment” – Eugyppius says lockdowns were sold as a means of preserving access to healthcare but they turned out to be exactly the opposite.
  • “Covid and Reality” – The Swiss Doctor wonders why many sceptics, no less than lockdowners, have bought into strange and false ideas during the pandemic.
  • “What kinds of students have fared best or worst post-Covid?” – D.V. Williamson with an in depth look at what data can say and cannot say about the effect of school closures.
  • “Energy bills will be frozen at £2,500 for two years, says Truss” – Liz Truss commits the Government to keeping costs for households at £2,500 a year until October 2024, as well as a cap for businesses that will be reviewed in six months, reports the Mail.
  • “Liz Truss lifts ban on fracking despite fears it can cause earthquakes” – The Prime Minister told MPs the moratorium in place since 2019 will be lifted in areas where local communities support the technology, the Mail reports.
  • “Climate change tsar warns Liz Truss against lifting fracking ban” – Lord Deben said approving fracking would have no impact on energy prices and urged the PM to focus on renewables instead, reports the Mail.
  • “Extinction Rebellion vs democracy” – Sam Ashworth-Hayes in Spiked writes that we cannot let a tiny number of eco-extremists impose their will on society.
  • “Batley row ‘shows how extremists are using blasphemy to attack free speech’” – William Shawcross, the historian appointed by the Government to review the Prevent counter-terror programme, said free speech was being put at risk by groups using claims of blasphemy to silence others, according to the Telegraph.
  • “Ruling class scum” – James Allan in Spectator Australia on ex-PM Malcolm Turnbull’s belated conversion to free speech.
  • “How to take on the new puritans” – Andrew Doyle in Spiked says he is fascinated by those who prefer only to associate with people who share their own identical worldview and who interpret the slightest point of political disagreement as evidence of evil.
  • “Where did the Great Awokening come from?” – David Rozado in UnHerd looks at the data and finds the abrupt surge in ‘prejudice-denouncing’ terms such as racism, sexism and homophobia in the media occurred around 2010-14 for reasons not fully understood but likely linked to the rise of social media.
  • “Effective altruism is the new woke” – Kathleen Stock in UnHerd dissects the new philosophy of longtermism that has captured the imaginations of some of the world’s richest people including Bill Gates and Elon Musk.
  • “I’ve finally been offended by a joke” – Toby in the Speccie confesses to finally having a glimpse into how the perpetually offended must feel much of the time.
  • “FDA, BA 5 vaccine” – Watch Dr. John Campbell discuss the very limited data on which the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved the new Omicron vaccine.
