Schools Already Sending Children Home and Switching to ‘Remote Learning’

by Toby Young
13 December 2021 8:22 PM

Schools have begun moving to remote lessons for the final week of term in spite of Downing Street saying children should remain in the classroom unless it is a “public health emergency”. Camilla Turner in the Telegraph has more.

Headteachers are drawing up lists of key workers’ children and updating plans for remote learning in January in case schools are told not to reopen following the Christmas break.

Unions warned on Monday night that omicron is causing “chaos” in schools and called for the return of pupils next term to be staggered.

Schools around the country have told parents to keep their children at home for the final week of term amid rising “panic” about the latest Covid variant.

Two schools in Bury St Edmunds – Sybil Andrews Academy and Abbots Green Academy – told pupils to learn remotely this week following three suspected cases of omicron.

The schools said in a joint statement that their “intention” is that the closures “salvage Christmas” as well as safeguard the “health and wellbeing of our school communities”.

Abingdon and Witney College in Oxfordshire told the majority of its pupils to stay at home and learn online this week as a “proactive measure” in the “run-up to Christmas”.

The school did not mention any confirmed or suspected Covid cases in its explanation for closing but said it wanted to “ensure that we keep ourselves and our families as safe as possible over the festive period”.

Hull City Council wrote to parents at St Mary’s College to say that Year 9 pupils should stay at home for the rest of the term because “a very small number of cases have shown an indicator on the PCR sample which is often, although not always, linked to the omicron variant”.

The council’s director of public health said that further tests will be done to confirm the variant but they take a few days, adding: “With Christmas approaching and a rising number of cases we want to stop the opportunity for further spread as quickly as possible.”

Arabella Skinner, a director of the parent campaign group UsForThem, said that the Government’s “confused” guidance means that children are being “penalised” by missing time in the classroom.

She said: “The Department for Education needs to get a grip on making sure that face-to-face education is a priority.

“It sounds like these panicked responses from local public health officials are not proportionate and are not putting children first.”

Worth reading in full.

Heading the report with a picture of a young child already wearing glasses highlights another problem. If children do not spend a significant time out of doors (and a fortiori not in front of a computer screen), research shows their eyesight will be impaired.

If so then every cloud has a silver lining! Welfare systems are always establishment welfare states, redistributing from workers to title owners.

What struck me with that image is his “I don’t get it” expression. When I see this in my classroom, I can address it pretty quickly and privately, but with online teaching that’s not possible. I hated online teaching last year for this very reason. The differentiated support you give in face to face teaching cannot be given online.
Thank goodness no schools in my area are locking out kids this week, fingers crossed they won’t next term. I don’t think many of the children I teach could cope with it!

No surprises there, Hull City Council Director of Public Health and his counterpart in adjacent East Yorkshire Council are Covidians of the highest order – I wonder how they have managed to survive to adulthood given their fear of everything.

Good question to ask a bedwetting teacher.. how many supermarket workers have died on the job since the scamdemic started..

But they don’t count because they don’t have a university degree. Covid is only dangerous to the educated and those walking through a pub, not eating there.

I’m afraid I know quite a lot of them, teachers that is, and all of them have distanced themselves from me since I let them know my thoughts on this diabolical farce of a health crisis..

Yessss exactly! I’ve thought that all along.
They’ve been out there facing the contagious general public throughout this whole saga.
How on earth have they survived it?
Has anyone experienced their local supermarket having to close due to staff sickness? I certainly haven’t and know no one who has.
I’d say supermarket staff are an excellent risk benchmark – and I see no risk.

They tend to be recycled quickly when they die… except for that one mask-exempt cashier who I’ve been seeing doing her shifts pretty much throughout the entire pandemic, that one is probably immortal.

Teacher last minute xmas shopping emergency.

School need to be taken out of state provision…

Loan parents the money to educate their children if need be.

Parents need to pay and then they’ll be used less as a creche.

Teachers are to be replaced with centralised on line ‘learning”. They’re digging their own graves. Something similar will happen for doctors, when they have finished dishing out the lethal injections.

Perhaps they should listen to Robert Malone: The Omicron variant is like a traditional vaccine made of live, attenuated virus which results in mild symptoms while conveying broad spectrum immunity.

The problem here is that the immune system of the vaxxed will likely no longer function properly and as such Omicron might still kill or injure some of those who have been jabbed. Similarly the jabbed who recover may not end up with the broad spectrum immunity which you refer to.

Its not that Omicron will come and take them out, because there is no novel contagion. The weakened immune system – which is what the jabs appear to cause – labelled “immuno erosion” on Israeli TV when they announced a big uptick of it – like some kind of fast acting AIDS – presents as Covid type symptoms. Thats the trick their playing – make people ill then blame it on Covid. There is no Covid, there is just rebadged illness and death setup up via a new recording system facilitated via criminachanges to standard protocol plus government created death via vaxxs, vents, withholding and blocking treatment – like in the USA and I guess here they banned antibiotics for Covid patients – meaning if they are rebadged bacterial pneumonia they will just get more ill as they will only get antivirals due to the misdiagnosis and voila – more Covid deaths, buckling the NHS through nonsensical Covid policies, dosing people up on Remdesevir which causes Covid symptoms.

Because it’s all about the children, right? Forget the objective fact that, statistically speaking, this virus poses children no risk. Teachers and their benevolent and unscientific (irrelevant) unions know better, and a variant (of the virus posing children no risk) spreading in alleged super duper fashion means that the virus, already posing the nippers no risk, now poses them even more risk, which is essentially no risk, which means that children ought to be shot on sight.

Have I got this at least somewhat right? Corrections welcome.

The Telegraph has a big article on SA and the direction of Omicron wave. It is performing exactly as thought 3 weeks ago. But that’s not the message and those who can take advantage of things will. Be it the mask manufactures (£200b+ industry) or teaching unions.

This is why the panic must end tomorrow. Boris should go to Parliament and say Plan B will be held back and we may return to 19 July rules within the week.

Do it Boris. Show you can be as brave as your hero.

‘The Telegraph has a big article on SA and the direction of Omicron wave. It is performing exactly as thought 3 weeks ago.’

And?

‘But that’s not the message and those who can take advantage of things will.’

Welcome to the last two years. What’s your point?

‘This is why the panic must end tomorrow.’

Profound.

‘Boris should go to Parliament and say Plan B will be held back and we may return to 19 July rules within the week.’

1. Are you dense? Do you actually believe ‘Boris’ (bless) has a grip on reality/decency?

2. You beg the question by assuming ’19 July rules’ is meaningful.

‘Do it Boris. Show you can be as brave as your hero.’

Good grief. ‘Boris’ has had nearly two years to do what is right, so what on earth makes you think he’d do it now?

BJ’s hero sat back while 900 people were killed in a Coventry bombing run, because he didn’t want to give away a tactical advantage. Also implicated in at least three unlawful killings incl his own mother. I think he’s emulating his hero fairly well.

Something has to be done about this. These teachers have undergone some kind of voodoo level brainwashing and theyre acting like paranoid OCD consumed foaming lunatics. Seriously – cant someone get some serious people together to start holding meetings with heads of education. Theyve had the notices of liability though, which have had some effect I gather, not sure how much, and that hasnt worked – maybe teachers cant read any more – but Im thinking some kind of consortium like the group who met with Sir Graham Brady. In fact I think maybe Sam White would be ideal to lead something like this, with his connections to doctors 4 covid ethics and Reiner Fuellmich, he can get some heavyweights in to educate the educators. Something has to give.

I always saw war as something that ultimately gwets resolved via diplomacy and negotiation. This is an information war as much as anything. Its so important to tackle this because these teachers are playing a big role in costing us our freedom. They are in the wrong. They need to be educated about that.

As one who taught secondary pupils of all abilities from 1971 to 2006 I’m worse than appalled at any suggestion that schools should close. Children have already lost over a year’s schooling; not just that, it’s also the lack of socialisation, the fear, the terror inculcated by our inept and inhumane so called experts and the PM, the constant disruption has messed with their minds and their mental health; I’m incandescent at the treatment of the students by the unis; they pay for tuition, not remote learning. Who will stand up and tell it like it is? Not the Minister for Education, that’s for sure.
