The Health Secretary has refused to rule out the possibility of adopting a France-style vaccine passport system, which entails receiving the booster shot in order to be labelled as ‘fully vaccinated’. In a recent interview with Sky News, Javid couldn’t say for certain whether the scheme wouldn’t be introduced “potentially in the future”. If such a policy were to become law, it would mean that those who are offered the booster shot (such as those over the age of 65 years-old) but refuse, would be denied entry to certain venues. The Independent has the story.
Asked if making a third jab part of a Covid pass is “something that you might look at”, Javid replied: “We’re not looking at that yet.
“I think, in due course, we will have to look at what constitutes vaccination, but at this point the most important thing is that anyone that’s eligible gets out there and gets their booster.”
Pressed on whether the curb could be introduced “potentially in the future”, the Health Secretary told Sky News: “I can’t rule that out.
“We know now that the vaccines do wane and it’s important that, where it’s necessary, that those people get a top up. I think it’s something that we have to keep under review.”
Covid passes have been introduced in Wales, and are now being extended to cinemas and theatres, while Scotland requires proof of double vaccination for crowded venues.
A similar plan was shelved in England, but is part of the Government’s ‘Plan B’ should Covid hospitalisations and deaths rise sharply over the winter.
If introduced, it would require proof of vaccination for “indoor crowded settings with 500 or more attendees such as music venues or large receptions”, including all nightclubs.
The events would be those where people “are likely to be in close proximity to people from other households”, the winter plan set out.
“Outdoor, crowded settings with 4,000 or more attendees” and “any settings with 10,000 or more attendees, such as large sports and music stadia”, including top football matches, would also be covered.

I’ve been telling myself that ever since getting x2 vax passport in June. Mine is month renewal until early December but I’ve said here before that disabling the renewal would be their direction of attack for those us declining to take the boost.

I have never had any faith in the efficacy or safety of the vaxxes due to their hurried and untested introduction, with precious little medical knowledge I do have some of history.
Here I will say something that I had not intended, not wishing to appear a drama queen.
From March 2020 I spent the whole of Lockdown Plus out and about as a key worker gaining many useful insights into the conduct of lockdown as a result, being happy to share those here at LockdownSceptics, as was.
Early March 2021 I was suddenly admitted to hospital for two unrelated but equally serious conditions.
On leaving hospital April this year I was on what is euphemistically called a
Treatment Escalation Plan
otherwise known as
‘You’re Gonna Die’.
Pain alleviation was much discussed (Palliative Care), “that’s all we can do”.
After a while a path forward appeared that would involve a series of outpatient visits for chemotherapy for which I would utterly depend on taxis or the services of a charitable trust for transport.
Vax passports for healthcare workers were already looming. This was also going to include suppliers to healthcare premises: builders, food suppliers, patient transport providers &etc.
Are you with me so far?
Potential side effects for my chemo included extreme nausea, fatigue and confusion (among others not fit to print unless you wish to follow me into the lavatory, best keep your distance) and so I decided in a mood of total indifference to get the useless vaxxes out of the way before being compelled to do so while in the grip of the side effects outlined.
Useless or even dangerous vaxxes were the least of my concerns.

Last week, I wrote to the MHRA to ask whether the introduction of the two new anti-viral drugs for Covid would mean that the emergency licence for the jabs would become null and void.
I received a reply from Ella at MHRA customer services telling me that approved treatments are not a substitute for vaccination against Covid. She attached the marketing agreements for all three U.K. vaccines from the EMA (thought we were out of the EU) .
Have written back to her to ask again whether the jabs are still being operated under emergency licence and does that mean that once these wonder drugs are approved that licence will be revoked.

Particularly as the (official) reasoning was not so much punishment of the unvaxxed, the underlying argument was that the unvaxxed would be taking up beds needed for cancer patients, etc. Once the argument became about freeing up beds, the next logical step is to point out that those taking up most of the beds with corona are in fact those over 65, vaxxed or otherwise. Now it is being made acceptable to block the over 65s who are un- or under-vaxxed, when that turns out not to be enough, which it will, it will be blocking of the over 65s who are vaxxed, simply because that is the only way to free up beds.
It is heinous and falls in line with the need/desire to curtail health care services in an ageing population. Just as in countries with strong employment laws it has become necessary to curtail the rights of workers, long fought for, by being able to easily discard them because they aren’t jabbed and by opening up the door to digging into an employee’s medical records, which is normally prohibited.
This goes beyond the social credit score, this is an intentional destruction of the welfare state. And the idiots cheering it on the most are those on the left. Even though this shit show goes beyond left and right, it is the left’s view that every individual on the planet needs the government to wipe their arse that has encouraged and perpetuated the hysterical over-reach regarding corona.

The psychological war that this government is waging against its own people has now been deliberately ratcheted up a gear. Imagine what some over 65’s who, for whatever reason and as is their right, have not been jabbed or do not want the ‘booster’ must be thinking now. Is this the last Christmas that I can go down to the pub to have a drink with our friends? Is this the last Christmas that I can go to a restaurant for a family meal? Is this the last time we can take a train to see our grandchildren? Is this the last time that we can go shopping? Etc. And it will probably be the over 50’s soon. This is cruel, brutal and inhumane. What has this country come to when politicians can get away with this?
I am afraid the people only have themselves to blame, I live in Torridge and West Devon, our MP Geoffrey Cox, has been know for years to earn shedloads of money and spend much time in the Caribbean and yet still people vote for him. If the the Conservative party put up a stuffed Donkey i think it would get voted in! Similarly they are getting away with all this Covid vax-pass nonsense because too many people just go along with it all.
I think that you are bang on. Frankly it’s an outrage that, bar a few exceptions, our MPs work for themselves rather than their constituents. Lack of an effective opposition doesn’t help either. Voter apathy is a real issue, difficult one to solve.
I am 65. Already, I cannot see my family and grandson in Switzerland. I cannot use my (very modest) small flat in France, which I use as a base for seeing the family. Neither country will let me in. I have chosen not to have the jab because of a strong family history of thrombosis. My mother nearly died of a thrombosis, and there is no way I am having the “clotshot.” I applied for a medical exemption on 20th SEPTEMBER, but have still not received a reply. I don’t suppose I will get an exemption anyway. The Government seems intent on jabbing everyone, whether or not the risks outweigh the benefits for each person. The whole thing is an absolute scandal The COVID vaccine does not prevent infection or transmission; both Boris and the NHS have said so. I hope the whole house of cards will come tumbling down and all those responsible for trampling on human rights will be held responsible.
