Around 30% of people aged over 80 and 40% of over 50s in England are yet to receive a top-up jab of the Covid vaccine, according to the Department of Health.
Three million more people in England are being invited to have a booster shot next week – and Sajid Javid said he “strongly urges” everybody eligible for the jab to take up the offer.
The Health Secretary said: “We know immunity begins to wane after six months, especially for the elderly and the vulnerable, and booster vaccines will top-up their protection to keep people safe over the winter.
“I strongly urge everybody who is eligible for a Covid booster or flu vaccine to take up the offer as soon as you can.
“For those not yet eligible, please help your parents, grandparents or vulnerable loved ones get their jabs, as it could save their life.”
Javid also told anyone who is yet to have their first or second dose of the Covid vaccine, “it is not too late”.
“This truly is a national mission”, he added.
“If we all come together and play our part, we can get through this challenging winter, avoid a return to restrictions and enjoy Christmas”.

It’s about time we had a ”Health Secretary” with some kind of qualification or experience in medicine or science. At least then we’d know he was talking through his own hat, rather than someone else’s.
Dr Peter McCullough has advised in a warning, NO ONE should take a booster because of the spike proteins in the vaxx. But Sajid Javid, a politician thinks the elderly and vulnerable should take a booster. I am sure Javid, a politician by trade, knows what he is talking about, but wondering what random controlled studies he is referring to when he makes these kind of broad statements.
I emailed Sajid Javid and raised questions about the Government narrative, extending the opportunity to justify and substantiate their various claims. No surprise. no reply I asked my MP if he would raise my questions with Sajid Javid. No surprise, no reply. By default the Government therefore is unable and unwilling to tell the truth and thus the narrative is confirmed as part of the Big Lie.

I don’t remember when a booster was trialled. Can anyone show me the results of the trial? My memory isn’t what it used to be.
So, get your THIRD jab. If you don’t drop dead immediately, then your odds of a serious adverse reaction in the next few days go up dramatically. Let’s say you do survive the jab. For the first 10 days or so, you’d better hide behind the sofa as your immune system will be knocked out and if you get Covid-19, you’re in trouble. Then your immune systems recovers from the jab and for the next 211 days (or thereabouts) you’ll be “protected” against the virus. But if you DO get Covid-19, and you survive it, then you’re truly screwed as the hospitals will have nowhere to discharge the elderly to, having fired another 60 000 care workers who refuse to get the jab that doesn’t stop them from getting infected and from spreading the virus anyhow.
Assuming that you survive your encounter with Covid-19 and your encounter with the NHS, you’re now just waiting for the 3rd jab to lose effectiveness so that you can start the whole process over again with your FOURTH jab.
Rinse. Repeat. Forever.

The falling efficacy of the vaccines does not asymptotically approach zero (which would mean that vaccines merely lose effectiveness over time). It goes straight through zero and then goes dangerously negative (which means the vaccines become toxic to the immune system). Then it becomes increasingly negative in a linear manner week on week. If this continues then the vaccines will completely destroy the part of your immune system which deals with Covid by the end of January.

Retirement usually means being stuck at home because of age, health or financial reasons, so a winter lock down is really for younger people who don’t have the insecurities of older age
Retirement is more about having made your nest, during your lifetime and having the time left (waiting to die) to enjoy it.
That is my take on getting old – but then I don’t live in England (left 51 years ago – never to return) anymore and the exchange rate here, is far less strong than the US$ or the Pound Sterling, so I can’t say how things are for the retired in your country – a long time,not my country.
Bugger, it was overcrowded when I left 51 years ago, so I can’t imagine how overcrowded it is there now, for all but a few who can afford a large estate to keep the rest of you out.

Certainly feel it amongst my own. They had the jab for whatever reason (fear of virus, keep job, go on holiday) but not one of them believe in vaccine passports and would man the barricades with us if it came to it.
