Government Adviser Says the Prevalence of Covid Variants Means “There’s a Very Strong Argument” for Vaccinating Children

2 min read

Despite warnings from a wide range of health experts against giving children Covid vaccines, including from a member of the Government’s Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation, it seems increasingly likely that Government’s across the U.K. will decide to include children in their vaccine roll-outs in the near future.

On Saturday, Professor Peter Openshaw, a member of the Government’s New and Emerging Respiratory Virus Threats Advisory Group (NERVTAG) and Professor of Experimental Medicine at Imperial College London, said that the prevalence of Covid variants means “there’s a very strong argument” for the vaccination of children. The MailOnline has more.

He told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: “A lot of people are sitting on the fence about this but I think on balance I’m coming to the view that vaccination of children – there’s a very strong argument there.”

He said the vaccine was safe for children, while prolonged symptoms of coronavirus meant one in 10 sufferers have not fully recovered.

He added: “Originally with the Wuhan strain it didn’t seem there was very much amplification of the epidemic going on amongst people who were at school in contrast to what we know about influenza, where schools are often the major driver of spread.

“But with these more transmissible variants it is evident that they are being transmitted much more amongst young adults and school children and even younger children and that seems perhaps to be a change in the biological quality of the infection.

“It’s still fortunately not causing very high disease rates amongst those kids but it does strengthen the argument against vaccination.”

He said the Government “absolutely needs to have the discussion” as research proves the “safety and efficacy in terms of generating an antibody response in children”…

Meanwhile, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) last week approved Pfizer’s Covid vaccine for 12 to 15 year-olds.

But no decision has yet been taken on whether to extend the rollout to under-18s once all adults have been offered a jab.

And there are now concerns in the U.S. that the Pfizer jab might have health risks for children that outweigh the benefits, with officials there fearing around 200 cases of heart damage among under-30s could have been linked to the jab.

The MHRA said it has not seen any such cases in the U.K. but the JCVI has advised that young adults or children should not be given the AstraZeneca jab unless it’s the only option because of a small blood clot risk.

The JCVI is expected to tell ministers the move to give jabs to children would be a “political decision”.

The reputation of Imperial College London is completely shot, so why would anyone apart from our useless government be listening to their output. It’s not clear whether the benefit or danger from vaccinating 12-year-olds is greater or what the long term effect of the vaccine might be. My offspring are no longer children and beyond 18 I have recommended they are vaccinated, but it’s their choice and nobody knows what any long term issues might be to any of us. When it comes to younger children, the risk of serious Covid-19 symptoms is very low and the government are risking children’s health in favour of protecting adults. Do we think this morally justified?

I didn’t need to recommend my ‘kids’ didn’t get vax. They are both scientists having studied genetics and physics at degree level. Neither will be getting it as both have concluded separately that their risk from the vax is higher than their risk from covid, should they , of course, even ever contract covid.

Hopefully Mr Openshaw has a good lawyer and lots of cash behind him, because if as a result of his and his friends recommendations even one child is seriously damaged or killed he should accept the fact his actions have consequences and the parents sue him for very cent he owns

He is like so many publicity seeking media scientists; willing to express his views however ill thought-out, without any opposition. To vaccinate children is unethical, immoral and unscientific and many of us have written to express these sentiments and have a much greater clinical experience than our professor Openshaw

I wonder what his price was to spout this death inducing crap.

There is absolutely NO reason to stuff children with experimental cocktails.

Fortunately his so-called academic qualifications mean he should be well aware of the dangers and outcomes.

If we ever get the bastard in court he has zero defence.

COVID is a TREATABLE illness. We will risk the next generation rather than actually treating sick people. Please see Dr Peter McCullough’s interview. It is CHILLING to hear how people have died, just so vaccine profits can soar.https://vimeo.com/553518199

Not “worth reading in full”. Worth opposing in full.

This is proof that there is a conspiratorial element. No sensible government would risk the health of the nation’s children for no benefit to those children and – even in theory – only the weakest, marginal benefit to the rest of the population.

Imperial College, which we know has received huge amounts of Chinese CCP regime funding, is a like a nest of vipers.

Imperial College, MRHA, PHE, NHS senior management – along with numerous other agencies – should all be put under criminal investigation.

There are always going to be variants – the government is just using this as an excuse to jab children with its frankenstein experimental vaccine.

Posted yesterday, but worth repeating:
“January, Israel became one of the first countries in the world to give the new coronavirus vaccine to young people. At the time, Israel’s Education Ministry said the vaccine was necessary so that students could sit for in-person exams. Schools mandated the shot; kids got it.

So what happened next? This week, we found out. Israeli health officials released a report showing that vaccinated young people, particularly young men, were developing a potentially fatal complication — a heart inflammation called myocarditis — and they were developing it at extremely high rates. Researchers determined that the incidence of myocarditis in vaccinated young men was fully 25 times the usual rate. Some of them died.

In Canada, at least one public health official observed the same thing. Dr. Peter Liu is the chief scientific officer at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute and an expert in myocarditis. Liu began to notice heart inflammation in patients who’d received the vaccine. “It is more than coincidental,” he said.

In Germany, authorities concluded the same thing. The German government just announced that healthy young people should avoid the vaccine. It’s too dangerous. ”

What we have to continually remind ourselves is that most of these scientists and public health figures were anonymous nobodies 18 months ago. Who had ever heard of Professor Peter Openshaw? Or Susan Michie, John Edmonds, Jeremy Farrar, Andrew Hayward, Jonathan Van Tam and the rest of them? None of the wider public had heard of any of them. But now these people have a significance and a power that most elected politicians in our history have never had. Their every pronouncement carries weight. The mainstream media clamour to interview them. Yet they are also protected from accountability – it is the Government who ultimately carry the can, not them. And when it’s over, they will be “rewarded” with knighthoods and MBE’s and places on the boards of many of the main parmaceutical companies. You can see how these people are having the time of their lives. Never have they been so relevant as they are now. Why would they want the “pandemic” to end? As long as they are empowered by the Government and facilitated by the media, these people will never stop seeking to control our lives.

They will also have to look over their shoulders for the remainder of their lives. What parent of a seriously vaccine-injured or killed child is going to just sit on their hands and say “oh well”. I know I wouldn’t (not that I’d let any child of mine be interfered with by these child abusers).

This is the “vaccine” they say is safe for kids and want to pump into our children. Side effects of Pfizer “vaccine” in under 18s reported to VAERS in the US include (among many, many more):
Loss of consciousness (n=409)
Chest pain (219)
Seizure (152)
Head injury (92)
Visual impairment (89)
Eye movement disorder (50)
Blindness (30)
Tinnitus (69)
Deafness (21)
Anaphylactic reaction (26)
Pericarditis (23)
Myocarditis (16)
Cardiac arrest (4)
Guillain-Barré syndrome (6)
Bell’s palsy (9)
Menstrual disorder (19)
Loss of personal independence in daily activities (13)
Death (8) – including 4 suicides

How can they say this is safe ffs?!

Remember too that only a fraction of the incidents are reported to VAERS, and many vaccine injuries take time to present themselves. I also saw some evidence that VAERS reports have been taken down to reduce the death/injury figures though I havent see confirmation of this yet.

They dont want you to know the truth.

The more we find out about this, the more we can see that the whole reason for the fakedemic and these vaccines is genocide.

If Peter McCullough is correct, and the number of deaths caused by the vaccine are ten fold what has been registered, the almost as many have been killed by the vaccine as US soldiers were killed in the entire Vietnam War.

Only this time it is Americans who are killing them.

Besides all the other points, basic evolutionary microbiology says that mass vaccination with a vaccine that offers little protection from infection is what drives vaccine escape. This is 10x times worse (faster) where the vaccines only target a portion of the virus which happens to be the most mutable part of it.

Through this weird quasi-religious zeal to inject the world they’re putting the vulnerable (including my elderly relatives) once again at significant risk, whilst offering the non-vulnerable (including my children) negligible protection from the virus and possibly even introducing new risks to their health.
