Great report on the march from LeftLockdownSceptics especially the 15 minute uncut footage of the Police entering Hyde Park to stop the impromptu party.
That backfired as the crowd slowly pushed them back until finally they were out of the gate.
The Police effort was s bit feeble frankly, being more used to bullying old ladies for feeding the birds in that very park.
During the ten minute stand off at the gate the crowd was not particularly large, half of them were more interested in filming the action and several were bravely discouraging fellow marchers from pushing the Police further.
It’s been suggested, and I agree, that the initial Police squad were sent in to cause a bit of trouble to give the press something to photograph.
Set up as Aunt Sallys by their own superiors.
You don’t need to be a conspiracy theorist to detect an organized “pro-covid” (could we say?) propaganda effort on twitter.
One thing I’m certain of. No damage of any kind was caused by the protestors. Because if it had, the MSM would have been all over it like flies over faeces.

It was particularly smart of those who stood with their backs to the police, creating a divide. Made it impossible for the police to justifiably attack someone from behind while all those cameras were filming.
I’ve seen this myself at a previous march. Everyone was completely calm and peaceful, then I watched with my own eyes as an unusual group of stereotypical tattooed ‘nazis’ came round the corner – the very same corner that the media was stationed with loads of police presence… Next day, the MSM produced huge misrepresentation of the march, only showing these same thugs misbehaving and being arrested.
I was expecting the reinforcements that arrived outside the Hyde Park gate to be TSG ready to give the partygoers a good clubbing, instead they were ordinary plod in baseball caps fronted by a nerdy looking one gathering ‘evidence’ with his Go-Pro on a stick.
Pathetic since, as mentioned, half of the remaining crowd were filming them, LOL.
Was the earlier march you mention at Trafalgar Square ? I remember the skinhead low lifes creating a scene before plod waded in for the press.

Certain crowd leaders seem to be employing tactics now to get the rest of the crowd working as one, to face off the police (or to turn their backs on them) without violence, and it seems to be working.

Presumably people with negative tests have had the sheer audacity to think they were allowed to do such things as meet indoors or perhaps even hug each other! Perhaps these morons will actually catch on that these tests are intended to further restrict their freedoms not permit them to have them back! Why on earth anyone has one I have no idea
There is only one reason I can think of for enduring one, that is to step on an airplane then at least there is no need for an injection. I am very pleased to discover that the US recognised tests for someone getting on a plane to a US destination includes a ‘quickie’ antigen test. The ‘casino’ RT-PCR test can be avoided. If you are planning an extended stay in the US there remains a perfectly acceptable solution to their embargo of UK/Irish/Schengen visitors.
You shouldn’t have to do any of this, but loopholes do continue to exist if you look hard enough.

Was at this march and the previous, 20 March. Being brought up in Wembley Park close to and been to matches there often, so have good idea of size of crowds. Anyone who has been to Wembley, the other major football stadiums, Twickenham, Lords, the Oval knows that the numbers here were of a different vaster scale so between half a million and a million. Oxford Street and its extensions eg Holborn were full all the way from Marble arch to Old Bailey. All very peaceful, good humoured, police kept away and no broken windows. About 2 hours after rally really ended, police had courage to attack the very few still remaining in Hyde Park.

You can see, without any doubt, the police came to provoke violence. As with previous anti-LD protests, they start with the pushing/kettling. When someone pushes back, that’s the green-flag for the cop to start getting violent. It didn’t work this time because they underestimated the strength of feeling and were massively outnumbered.
as march was successful might be worth trying the Gillet Jaune approach used in France – although non violently of course – as in march once a week every week to show that it isn’t a one off protest but a very determined not going away kind of protest to show we don’t support lockdowns, loss of freedoms and vaccine passportts
But they were not massively outnumbered given their training, the crowd was not particularly large, nor militant (though Vocal !)
Pity about the bottles thrown as the marchers could probably have achieved their aim without that.
The Police seemed to rapidly become more concerned about their own safety, particularly that of their lady colleagues who appeared, thankfully, to be unscathed.

The letter includes graphs showing the UK deaths/cases/ vaccined against other countries. I draw your attention to Portugal. It had the same spike of ‘cases/deaths’ as the UK in early January. It is now doing even better than UK , however check its vaccination record. If the vaccinations caused the improvement in the UK why has it happened better in a country with a fraction of the vaccinations?
Of course we all want the restrictions lifted, but for scientists ,who I used to regard in the highest regard, to argue that vaccines are responsible is derisible.

I’m trying to get a feel for how much of the UK population the march represents: From comments from some locals on here used to estimating sizes of marches sounds like could be close to half a million turned up; half to one percent of UK population? Sounds a bit too high? I presume the further away from London you get the less likely people would be to go even if they wanted to, so I wonder what percent of people within, say the M25 went. And how many people either couldn’t go or didn’t know about it, or not sure, never having been to a march before. How many people don’t get it simply because of what they do and don’t hear on the MSM.
Whatever the numbers, it seems to me like there must be millions just in the UK who support this. If each of those (UK and worldwide must be hundreds of millions) tried to do at least 3 things, like write to their MP, help another person understand at least some aspects of our cause, go to a march, etc. I’ve written to my MP (first time in my life), responded to the consultation on immunity passports and most days spending time keeping track of developments on the science and looking at data etc to be better informed for when I get the opportunity to speak to others on either side of the fence.
Like you I have written to MP, Gove’s Covid Status Review etc. given some money, but though over 70 felt I had to do more. Was easy for us three stops on the Tube, but everyone we spoke to came from much further away, Brighton, Norwich, East Grinstead, Manchester and the previous time Leeds, Slough and Dorking. Atmosphere was amazing, this time my wife came too and is now hooked. Everyone there will want to be there next time
I would suggest that the numbers only reflect a small percentage of people with similar beliefs. Have a look at the comments section of Sky News Australia’s reporting of the march and the number of Londoners who were unaware of it. There would be a number of people who could not attend for health / work reasons or other commitments.
Whatever the true number each of those predominantly younger people will have 20/30 family, friends and colleagues all of whom will have known the truth since sometime today.

Younger people are not getting more ill by covid19. They are ravaged by lockdowns.
You can see this is some countries (like US) where excess deaths have risen with younger/middle-aged. But even with mass tasting with oversensitive PCR tests, most of excess deaths among younger were not official covid19 deaths.
In the begging I listened (I thought the information was wrong but listened anyway) and thought coronamania is just due to panic and unlucky set of circumstances. But in the summer 2020. when hysteria continued with “long covid” (“which can affect the younger”), I stopped listening. It crossed a certain level of ridiculousness for me.
Then when the “new variants” came, I already didn’t listen. Btw, if new variants were significantly different, this would probably mean that the virus was already in endemic phase, it mutated a bit (like influenza does every season), and that’s it (pandemic over).
A lot of excess deaths in winter 2020/21 was due to typical ILI (not just influenza virus but various pathogens which cause illness similar to influenza) and mid-term consequences of the1st lockdown, short-term consequences of the 2nd, and immediate consequences of the 3rd which expressed themselves in ~winter when people usually die more.
Now they are saying younger people are getting more ill with covid19, probably to scare them to take the vaccine which they shouldn’t if they are healthy (not suffering some serious illness which might make them more susceptible to covid19). Btw, when you are very old and/or sick you are vulnerable to a lot of even mild pathogens. This is not some unique and nasty feature of covid-19.
I attended the march on Saturday and we came from Newcastle. It was absolutely fantastic and i have seen an estimate of nearly 750000 attendees. It certainly felt like that. It gave me a great boost to be with so many like minded people. I will definitely be going to the next one on 15/05/21 and I would urge everyone to go.
