Given the field day the world’s petty bureaucrats, busybodies and bourgeois bullies have had with Covid, it's something of a victory to go to France and see things change so fast for the better.
Masks will still be required on London transport, Sadiq Khan has said, despite the end of Plan B. The worry is that Khan really believes the fairy story that filthy face rags stop Covid outbreaks.
The Transport Department finally admits it carried out no cost-benefit analysis before introducing mandatory masking on public transport last year. Shock!
