The Icelandic Government has announced that all restrictions, including all testing and travel restrictions, will be lifted at midnight on Friday, saying it wants to reach herd immunity via infection.
Iceland has had 268 serious adverse events reported with the Covid vaccines, including 35 deaths. This is 800-fold higher than with the swine flu vaccine in the US, which was withdrawn on safety grounds.
The double-vaccinated are almost twice as likely to be infected as unvaccinated people, data from Iceland shows. This is the same pattern as found in data from the U.K.
