The forum has to comply with UK law otherwise it will be taken down & cease to exist. I assume that's the main reason for moderation. I don't believe the moderators do it because they enjoy it. There has never been free speech in the UK, neither is there freedom of association. These things are distant goals that are none the less worth fighting for. The Online Harms white paper has now been drafted as the Online Safety bill. There is not a shadow of doubt that more platforms, channels, groups & individuals will be cancelled as a result of this legislation from a regime that is economically & socially "liberal" & "globalist" although it is frequently mis-characterised as "fascist".
All dissent under "British Parliamentary Democracy" is controlled opposition to some degree or another. ALL of it. People are simply legally forced to self-censor. If you don't do it, you're gone. If you think this platform is worse than others then why not use them instead?

It's probably that you didn't verify your email address when you first registered. A bunch of people have had the same problem, so I've issued a general amnesty. Try logging in again now.
As to your charge of us being "controlled opposition", I always think that's the sort of charge our enemies would like to spread about to try to discredit us. And when we start getting into the "science" of climate change we'll no doubt find we're suddenly being secetly funded by "Big Oil"...
Thank you Ian Rons - I've finally managed to log in with a new, impossible to memorise, password cos I couldn't figure out how to change it. Never mind- it's fireproofed so hopefully I might not be chucked out with the regularity it happened previously.
