- “U.S. Blew Up Russian Gas Pipelines Nord Stream 1 & 2, Says Former Polish Defense Minister” – Michael Shellenberger writes it’s “not out of the realm of the possible” that the U.S. is behind the attack, noting that Der Spiegel says the CIA warned the German Government of potential sabotage weeks ago.
- “Does the EU respect the Italian people?” – Brendan O’Neill in the Spectator says that Ursula von der Leyen’s latest threats suggest not.
- “Sussex Police issue humiliating apology after Home Secretary blasted them for ‘policing pronouns’ when they warned it was ‘hateful’ to say trans paedophile was a man when they [sic] sexually abused seven children” – Sussex Police released an apology for defending the gender of a legally male paedophile online, after the Home Secretary said the force should be focusing on “catching criminals”, according to the Mail – which nonetheless confusingly used the pronoun ‘they’ for the offender.

- “Sorry Sussex Police, but sex is relevant to sex crimes” – We have lost another institution to transgender ideology, writes Julie Bindel in UnHerd, as the force misleadingly headlines a story: “Woman convicted of historic offences against children in Sussex.”
- “Labour MP Rupa Huq suspended after calling Kwasi Kwarteng ‘superficially black’” – The backbencher says she has contacted the Chancellor to apologise
that he found out aboutfor remarks made at a conference fringe event, the Telegraph reports. - “Rupa Huq and the grim rise of woke racism” – Tom Slater in Spiked says the MP’s moronic comments reveal the ugly end point of identity politics.

- “PayPal reinstates Free Speech Union accounts after being accused of ‘politically motivated’ ban” – The company has issued a statement voicing support for freedom of expression following criticism by MPs, reports the Telegraph. PayPal supporting freedom of expression? Don’t make me laugh.
