“Senedd bans the term ‘blanket’”
This is the sort of nonsense that makes me mad. I know some are mockingly ‘mistakenly’ using the word, but they should show courage and use it as much as possible. Its not even an offensive word. They morons in charge have banned its use simply to try and frustrate the debate. They should sit there quietly chanting “Blanket. Blanket. Blanket.”
“Why do we still know so little about the RAF Fairford affair?”
Purely my personal opinion only
False flag attack?
In order to give the UK a good excuse to get involved in the Iran war (and garner favour with Trump, either/or) no doubt at the request of Trump during the recent Burnham visit!
Hire iranian looking “terrorists” to drive three vans full of “explosives” through the gate at Fairford, stop them before they get anywhere (all planned anyway) then Rant about Iran and about how great the security forces are and how Burnham is such a strong leader, vote winner!
Fly in the ointment, a pesky farmer spots the actors at their muster point and foils the lot! Phone rings at Fairford, personel know the gigs up so panick and dont answer it, local police know nothing about the opperation and respond to the farmers 999 phone call, Awkward embarrassing cover up follows!
Pleased feel free to come up with a more viable explanation 😀
According to another report on the beeb, one of the suspects actually called 999 about an hour earlier than the farmer – which kind of explains why the old bill arrived there so soon after the farmer’s call. No clarity as to why the original call was made, though. Perhaps it was part of an undeclared exercise.
Wow, this gets f-ing weirder!
Nigel Farage: it was a dummy run – a rehearsal – for an actual attack. One of the five called 999 so they could assess and time the response.
Makes sense to me.
Come on BBC and massed progressive protestors! How much longer do we have to wait for the revelation that the real story is about a plane-load of IDF and Mossad Zionists piling into a lone Muslim trying to protect the plane from a deranged Indian kaffir?
Or maybe it’s better to stick to the line about how anxious the Islamic Community is now about the inevitable mosque-burning reprisals from Far Right black labradors wrapped in St George’s flags?
You’re being very silly now. This was clearly a far right plot orchestrated by Musk and the Russians.
And dousing the “faithful” with pots of warm beer covering them with haram alcohol.
“UK rail cops’ £320,000 face-scanning spree nets zero matches” I hate to break it to the cops, but the sort of people they are looking for are unlikely to commute to work on a daily basis.
Or have visible faces
This plan that Burnham is talking about is wish list.
According to the dictionary a plan is “a detailed proposal, method, or set of decisions created in advance to achieve a specific goal or future objective”.
He seems to have missed the detail and the method.
To a Socialist once there is a plan or an initiative – it’s job done
The Labour faithful loved it – that’s why the rest of us should be terrified
‘Today, this country is faced with its most serious problems since the Second World War…At times this society (has) seemed on the brink of disintegration. Labour…have made things worse in three ways. First, by practising the politics of envy and by actively discouraging the creation of wealth, they have set one group against another in an often bitter struggle to gain a larger share of a weak economy. Second, by enlarging the role of the State and diminishing the role of the individual, they have crippled the enterprise and effort on which a prosperous country with improving social services depends. Third…Labour have given a minority of extremists the power to abuse individual liberties and to thwart Britain’s chances of success…It is not just that Labour have governed Britain badly. They have reached a dead-end. The very nature of their Party now prevents them from governing successfully in a free society and mixed economy…
Labour have demonstrated yet again that they cannot speak and dare not act for the nation as a whole.’ Conservative Manifesto 1979
Shame the Tories forgot all that after the removed Mrs Thatcher. They have still not learned and nobody will believe them if they try to claim they have.
And in 1983 GE, Labour’s campaign manifesto was: The New Hope For Britain. They lost.
Now Labour is Hope Again. Let’s hope they lose again.
Scrapping triple lock could save nothing, warns IFS
Deciding not to spend more and ever more money is not ‘saving’ money. Saving money is when you put it into the bank or invest it to get a bit more for later.
And, for clarity, “invest” and “investment” do not mean what politicians in office have meant since Gordon Brown, namely spending on something the speaker believes his audience will approve of.
Government investment = man standing at pub urinal relieving himself saying he is investing in the brewery.
