Young people aren’t snowflakes – mental distress is rising, says head of official review says Aunty
Prof Peter Fonagy said in an exclusive interview that there had been a real rise in mental distress among children and young people, with anxiety, depression, self-harm and eating disorders the most common.
He said it was “harder to be young” now given the economic and employment uncertainty young people face, coupled with the challenges presented by social media.
[…]about one in four 16 to 24-year-olds now struggling
If it’s not the young people’s failure to cope, then it’s the situation they find themselves in. We’ve built the wrong society – apparently worldwide.
Why have young people been taught to care so much about what is said about them on social media? Why do our schools continue to drive the we’re doomed narrative? Why do we teach kids that a life on benefits will be OK when they could aspire to so much more? Why are there no effective sanctions if kids go truant? Why do we allow people to turn up to school or work in furry costume? Why do we expect young people to compete for the entry-level jobs against people that will also work… Read more »
Aggression against RNLI stations and volunteers (or just being open to accusations of doing so) has been a big mistake, handing an easy pass to commentators quick to criticise the protestors.
The RNLI are an amazing organisation, who fully deserve the title “national treasure”. Volunteers who give their time, energy – and sometimes, their lives (600+ since founded two centuries aback) – to rescue those at sea, without fear or favour, deserve our support.
Protests are well and good, but should be directed at the cause (weak and idle politicians) rather than against the extraordinary people who man the lifeboats.
Agreed – however there can be no doubt the perceived support the RNLI offers to the trafficking operation is NOT a good look for their org, and has I’m sure dented their income, despite the 95% other great work going on all over the UK…
But they are not supposed to be a ferry service for invaders paid for by public generosity.
Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Actions have consequences even for “national treasures”
Wasn’t Jimmy Saville a national treasure?
“RNLI fears staff data stolen after anti-migrant activists target members” – Members of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution have been warned that their data MIGHT HAVE BEEN stolen by hackers amid A HEIGHTENED THREAT FROM ANTI-IMMIGRATION ACTIVISTS” [ Oooooo, scary! ]
What a load of complete cobblers! This is straight out of the Globalist playbook:
When caught out in acts of Treasonous Human Trafficking, PRETEND TO BE FRIGHTENED of the people you are stabbing in the back, and shove the blame onto them.
Communist Globalist Traitors are predators pretending to be “victims”.
Notice how the scaremongery has gone into overdrive over the last few days, Putin this, war that, food shortages, flight chaos, El Nino, price increases etc etc
Here in Ireland we don’t have a national mobile phone scaring system like in the Yookay so instead we get sent a booklet to every one of the 2.2 million households in Ireland telling us how to deal with emergencies should there be any!
And look who’s behind it, the dim witted dumb blonde who knows f%ck all about jack Sh!t Helen McEntee, Gawd help us!

Putin troops gang rape and torture
‘Some 1,004 cases of sexual violence were documented from 24 February 2022…89 percent were attributed to Russian authorities – including members of the armed forces, the prison service and the national security service.
…interviews with dozens of civilians around Ukraine allow one to put together a mosaic portrait of the invaders. It’s not a flattering image. Many of the soldiers are dirt-poor and badly educated, with many growing up without access to modern amenities…The majority have bad training, low morale and no faith in their poorly-maintained equipment and their callous or incompetent officers.
When occupying areas, many drank heavily, turning their quarters into shambles, or went around looting anything barely valuable they could get their hands on. In calls and messages between soldiers and their loved ones in Russia, one attitude came up a lot: that Ukrainians aren’t really people. Everyone recalls the infamous call where a soldier’s girlfriend gave him permission to rape Ukrainian women. In a more recent call, a Russian woman talked about how she would torture and kill Ukrainian children if she had her way. “I would inject them with drugs, look in their eyes and say die, suffer,” she said.
Putin’s stooges are out and about again, today!
It beggars belief how a man responsible for hundreds of thousands dead, millions displaced, more death, destruction, rape, torture than any one since Pol Pot, has any support at all…but this website is crawling with them. That is why I will not stop posting to point out the evils engaged in by this vile individual, his henchmen and regime.
‘He has never taken part in a debate or an election. His only method of fighting is trying to kill people. And no matter how much he tries to portray himself as some great geopolitician, some great world leader, what he resents most about me now is that he’ll go down in history as a poisoner. You know, there was Alexander the Liberator. Or Yaroslav the Wise. And we’ll have Vladimir the Underpants Poisoner. That’s exactly how he’ll go down in history.’

I think you should be charged extra by the Daily Sceptic for using their website to relentlessly push Weasel Zelensky Propaganda.
Why not get Weasel Zelensky to pay you to set up your own Weasel Zelensky Propaganda Website?
Both Tiny Tatar Putin & Weasel Zelensky are in cahoots in their Meatgrinder War, which has no other purpose than to Exterminate White Slavs on both sides.
How many million is it by now?
And how did British & American forces behave in WWII? Fighting forces, particularly conscripts are from the general population of all-sorts, not hand picked paragons of virtue from the congregation of angels and saints on Earth.
And how are Ukrainian forces doing?
But of course: Russia, Putin…
The second part of the quote, above, from the U.N. study quoted is : ‘The remaining 11 percent were attributed to Ukrainian authorities.’
How did the British and American forces behave in WWII? You quote or cite nothing to tell us.
The article that I reference, in The Sun newspaper, relies on a recently released U.N. report: ‘Sexual Violence in the Context of the Russian Federation Full-Scale Armed Attack against Ukraine’. That report is based on the findings of OHCHR’s Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine (HRMMU), during the period from 24 February 2022 through 31 July 2026. It builds upon OHCHR’s monitoring, documentation and public reporting of sexual violence in Ukraine since 2014.
Your phrase ‘But of course: Russia, Putin…’ lacks any verb, without which it makes no sense.
What they call right wing is actually nationalist left wing. They believe in strong state intervention, which is left wing ideology, not right wing.
Right wing ideology is about the defense of private property and the freedom of the individual
Nationalist seems now to have become what people mean by “right wing” – that and a refusal to accept trans and similar madness. There are nationalists on both sides of the spectrum, probably in recent decades more on the right than the left. There are also more social conservatives on the right, which makes it a good line of attack for the left – the right is split between social conservatives like me who make a strong distinction between how I live my life (and think others should live theirs) and allowing others to make their own choices, and people who would take that a step further, or at least say they would. Of course lots of other political and religious ideologies are socially conservative and enthusiastically enforce said view.
Right wing, and especially far right, is the catch all description of anything they don’t like.
Correct. And how do you stop being far right? Well, by toning down your objections and agreeing with them a bit more. If you insist on raising objections you must do so as a “centrist” which means gently and ineffectually.
But “Far Right” or “populist” is not how we define ourselves in the same way we might say, we are Reform, Conservative or Labour supporters, they are terms imposed on us.
People of the “Far Right” or “Populists” have no identifiable, common group characteristics. They are “guilty” not for what they are, but for what they are not.
These are pejorative, abstract, collective terms which dwell in the minds of self-selecting, self-righteous people who believe only they can be right, therefore good and virtuous, and which are awarded to “others”.
If you don’t subscribe to their beliefs, you are heretic and anathema, wrong, evil, called names, to be excommunicated and persecuted.
Roman Catholics use the all-embracing term “non-Catholics” for all those who did not follow the Church of Rome. Yet nobody describes themselves as a non-Catholic. Islam says “infidel” – nobody introduces themselves as an infidel.
When you think about it, it’s kind of nuts that the term “nationalist” when referring to the government of a NATION has become for many pejorative. If the government is not pursuing the NATIONAL interest, that is the interests of those who elected it, whose interests is it pursuing?
That’s kind of the point I’ve been trying to make for some time.
Socialists have basically gone about shoving everything that is opposition to them on the “far right”, most notably the absolute paragons of evil, the Nazis, who were actually socialist. Nationalist and socialist.
It’s a despicable trick that makes discussing anything they disagree with completely instantly objectionable. Because who wants to be considered on the same end of this blurred political spectrum as the Nazis?
Likewise “populist”…
“Populist” is the term used by the bon-pensants to describe things that are popular but objectionable (to them).
Someone else’s…. Usually seems to be the UN or some other globalist org…
They are caught up in a time-loop and have been going round and round for so long they are insensible from dizziness.
At a specific time in history, for a number of coincident, unique factors, Messrs Mussolini and Hitler developed separate ideologies based in Socialism, to put the Nation State at the pinnacle of all, to supersede all so that the German Reich and Italian Republic would each be the Worlds supreme Nations.
The State came first – everything in the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State: as Mussolini proclaimed.
The nitwits who abhor “Nationalism” see only that interpretation of what it means to put a Nation’s interests first, rather than the general meaning of serving the National interest for the benefit of the people in it, not the institution of the State.
This is why they are destroying the concept of National identity, loyalty to one’s Country, removing borders by mass inward migration of hordes of uneducated, counter-cultural immigrant rabble who have no identity or loyalty with our Nations.
