Asylum seekers are being handed a Home Office guide telling them not to rape or beat women as part of an official campaign on the “rules and expectations” of life in Britain. The Mailhas the story:
It warns: “If you have sex with someone without their consent, this is called rape.
“Rape is a serious crime in the UK.”
The seven-page booklet, published on Wednesday in the wake of a series of horrific rapes and sex attacks by asylum seekers, also warns new arrivals not to “follow someone or block their path”, or “make rude or offensive gestures”.
Asylum seekers are told never to “make sexual comments to someone, even if you think it is a compliment” or “whistle or make kissing noises at someone”.
It sets out that it is illegal to have sex with someone under the age of 16, adding: “There are no exceptions to this rule. Even if they say yes, it is still illegal.”
The pamphlet, entitled ‘Understanding behaviours and expectations in the UK: A guide for asylum seekers’, is expected to be made available in a range of foreign languages.
It also outlines how physical violence, threats and controlling behaviour are forms of domestic abuse and amount to a serious crime.
It says: “We understand that coming to a new country can be difficult, and that laws and customs here may be different from your home country.
“This booklet will help you understand what is expected of you when living in the UK.”
It adds: “These rules and expectations are not just for people seeking asylum, they apply to everyone living here.”
The booklet goes on to explain that men and women in the UK have equal rights and that women are allowed to “work and earn their own money”, study, travel freely and “make their own decisions about their lives”, including whether to marry.
It adds that a husband, father or brother should never stop a woman from working or studying; control what she wears or where she goes; stop her seeing family or friends or make decisions for her without her agreement.
The document also warns that it is a crime to take sexual images of someone without their consent. …
The material has also been reproduced as a series of posters featuring comic-style illustrations, presumably to be displayed in asylum hotels and other types of migrant accommodation.

I listened to an LBC call in yesterday covering this issue. I was intrigued to hear how the response would be male vs female. Of the women that called in, half were quite adamant that this was an issue for men in general. The women in question were clearly upset about men, maybe they had suffered domestic abuse, but still, the issue about illegal migrants raping women seemed to be of little concern to them. I then heard a Labour minister saying that the leaflet was for all men, and I became very angry – I am a responsible man, married, raised and strongly influenced by women, with kids who are now women. I do not need to told that sex has to be consensual and that women have rights: as a father I have dedicated the last few decades of my life to raising capable and confident women. I am seriously offended that I am thrown in the same bag as men from a different culture who clearly have a very different view of women and their role in society. I’m not surprised that you feel this way, quite rightly. however, it must be said that I would never expect any Labour minister to spout anything other than insultingrubbish. What about men who have been abused, financially, psychologically, and physically, by women? As a woman, I acknowledge that this happens.

It assumes people can read.
It assumes people know the English language.
It assumes that by reading a leaflet the problem goes away.
And the leaflet says that people ‘could’ be prosecuted if they commit these crimes.
By producing this leaflet the government acknowledges the problems and still does nothing to prevent.
But Jess Phillips says white British men in the UK are far more dangerous.

The advice is good stuff. It reminds me of a leaflet issued to the British army during the Malaya emergency in the 1950s (I had a copy, being in the school Combined Cadet Force) which said in capitals “Leave the native women alone”. However… how many migrants can read English? Are there translations into Arabic etc? If not it’s a pretty futile exercise.

I read that upto 23% of the target audience is illiterate. Maybe it’d be more effective employing a mime troupe to act out the do’s and don’ts of social behaviour. A long term contract could be offered as there appears to be no will to really stop them coming.

It’s what the leaflet doesn’t seem to mention – religion, It should say that even though your religion condones an act it might be illegal or unacceptable in the UK.
A very important point, The leaflet says: “It is still rape if you are married to the person…agreed once…but changed their mind”. This maybe in breach of the Islamic law, which treats marriage as a contract confirming mutual consent that aims to… “strongly encourage marriage to build large, loving families to multiply the community”. Perhaps a Sharia scholar could throw some light on the topic.

What truly hacks me off about this story, other than the fact that these leaflets are needed at all, is the phraseology. Why does it keep saying ‘you may’ and ‘you could’? Surely it should say if you commit a crime, any crime, especially one listed in this pamphlet, you will be arrested, you will lose all rights and you will be deported. No ifs no buts. Although, after that judge’s decision in Scotland yesterday, to allow the ‘Italian’ to stay, maybe they will all be allowed to stay whatever they do. The other assumption that is being made is all these doctors and engineers arriving are able to read, even their own language, which judging by the educational standards of some of them might also be doubtful.

The booklet should ask recipients to sign acceptance (and their biometric data stored) or face immediate deportation. It should include a clear message that if they violate any of the rules, they will be tried under British law, and if found guilty, they and their dependants will be deported.
Yes. If they first arrive without papers they are breaking immigration law – take biometrics. If people arrive on a temporary visa take biometrics so that if they over-stay they can be identified even if they claim to be someone else.
Why do we all have a biometric identity now when travelling when they do not? It ought to be the first thing that happens when they are ‘processed’ on arrival. No doubt there’s a ECHR regulation that doesn’t allow it.

They’re illegal immigrants, not asylum seekers, until proven otherwise.
There are proper channels for people to go through if they need to seek asylum here, and where there’s a genuine need I believe we have a human and moral duty to meet that need insofar as we can. Anyone who sneaks into the country illegally has, in my opinion, waived any rights they might otherwise have claimed.
The question though is, who exactly are the authorities – whose primary function is to protect us from outside threats – letting into the country that need to be given such a leaflet?
Could our authorities possibly give us a more self-incriminating piece of evidence of their incompetence, malpractice and negligence?

Please stop calling them asylum seekers. I’ve met real asylum seekers – men who’ve been tortured, beaten, and, yes, raped, and not one of them thought they had a right to come to our country and commit crimes.
The people that our government is currently importing are criminal invaders.
The leaflet keeps referring to them ‘losing’ their asylum support or accommodation. It’s not theirs to begin with.
Furthermore if an illegal migrant is kicked out of asylum accommodation and is not paid any support but is not deported they will disappear into the black economy and crime.
And as we’ve seen in the Morrocan invasion, sadly the NGO women are really available to them… Shocking videos of these libtard women engaging in acts with the invaders.
Yes, it made me feel nauseous watching that! The Libtard Whores have also handed out leaflets with drawings showing Hostile Alien Men how to have intercourse with western women in the “missionary position”. They are disgusting.
