Yet Again, Police Arrest a White Victim and Let His Attackers Walk Free

This week we learned that police officers who arrested dying white boy Henry Nowak will face a disciplinary investigation, and that the Crown Prosecution Service has told its staff they must “consider unconscious bias” before approving charges against people who aren’t white. And now there’s another apparent example of ‘two-tier’ – or more plainly, anti-white – policing. A video, filmed around 1:30am on Sunday June 21st, has been circulating widely online seeming to show a group of black men assaulting a lone white man. The attackers move away as two female police officers sweep in and arrest the victim of the assault.

The victim has since been charged with assaulting a police officer. As a result, and due to contempt of court rules, I am not able to write about his case in any detail. The attackers are still at large, and given it is now two weeks since the assault it must be unlikely they’ll be caught.

In response to the video being shared, West Midlands Police initially tweeted that “officers found a group of men fighting. As the incident was dealth with, an officer was punched”, and that the “incident has been reviewed, and we have no concerns over the officer’s actions and we are satisfied that they were reasonable and proportionate in the circumstances. We would ask that footage is not further shared to allow the legal process to take its course.”

This, naturally, provoked outrage, and the police issued a further statement on Saturday afternoon, stating they are

carrying out an investigation to identify people involved in an assault in Birmingham city centre… we are aware of footage on social media showing the incident before the man is arrested. Recognising that an assault has taken place we are now carrying out active enquiries to identify those involved. Although officers were in the area when this assault took place, they were involved in the arrest of another man at the time.

It seems from reading these statements that the police weren’t aware that the man they arrested had been the victim of an assault until the video was drawn to their attention. I asked West Midlands Police if this was the case, and when they had begun “carrying out” their investigation into the assault. They told me they would not be commenting further.

This new statement has not quelled people’s anger. Robert Jenrick, Reform’s Shadow Chancellor, posted the video with the comment that “Birmingham Police’s ‘Race Action Plan’ tells officers not to ‘over-police’ black people. It says disparities in outcomes are problems ‘regardless of their causes’. If you tell your officers that, don’t be surprised when this happens”.

Meanwhile Nigel Farage also posted the video, stating that this is “more evidence of two-tier policing against white people in Britain. This young man was attacked by ethnic minority men and instead of arresting them, the police arrested the victim. Only Reform will put an end to this.”

We now know that ‘anti-racist’ – again, more properly ‘anti-white’ – police doctrine which has captured the system since the Macpherson Inquiry metastasized after George Floyd’s death, and now we have a police and justice system which as a matter of policy seeks to under-arrest and under-charge black people. Detailed reporting in the Times last month revealed that the National Police Chiefs Council has issued guidance which instructs officers that, in the words of the Times, “arrest and charge rates should be made equal between groups, even though levels of criminality are different”.

Given black people do commit more crime, how is a police officer supposed to respond to this instruction other than by displaying the kind of behaviour we see in the Birmingham video and in Henry Nowak’s case? Arrest the white victim, let the black attackers run off. Another blow for equality. Similarly, CPS lawyers will naturally respond to their new guidance by charging fewer black people. Justice has ceased to be blind, and so it has ceased to be just.

This is the purpose and goal of DEI culture. It is ultimately anti-white. And it’s not just the police and justice system. Public institutions including the NHS, the Welsh Government and even the Disclosure and Barring Service which manages criminal records have enacted diversity policies which explicitly say that “Equality is not about treating everyone the same”.

It’s all been a con. We were sold the idea that this was about fairness and equality, when in fact it’s a tool for creating a divided society in which favoured groups are protected and the white majority are targeted by the state. DEI must be removed entirely from British society.
