It sounds bizarre, but if I want to know what Britain's socialist bloc is up to next, I turn to Carol Vorderman’s Instagram feed. Vorderman, who recently celebrated Green Party candidate Hannah Spencer’s victory in Gorton and Denton, is clearly a propagandist of some sort for the Ultra Left, and for months she has been promoting Andy Burnham. On Thursday she gushed about him again:

Initially Vorderman’s support made no sense to me – given that she was now apparently a Green supporter – nor did her posts about the marvels of Ed Davey. That’s until I realised what the socialist bloc was up to – and why it likes Burnham.
The clue is in a blog posted by Compass, a Left-wing organising group, published on January 26th of this year, in which it described itself as “Andy Burnham curious”.
Compass explained: “His advocacy for proportional representation, and therefore for cross party pluralism, is not a nice-to-have but an essential principle of a good society.”
Burnham has long been open about his support for PR, which is the socialist bloc’s plan to obtain power. If you keep your eyes out, you can see PR being pushed everywhere. Vorderman has been tweeting about it since 2023; it’s a classic example of someone trying to manufacture consent for a policy.

The socialist bloc believes that, with PR, it can push an agenda of policies through such as wealth taxes, nationalising all public services and rejoining the EU.
It’s no coincidence that

Do any of these activists have a job? If not, perhaps they should, and realise that they might accumulate wealth by working hard.
So can I assume that Vorderman is happy to support someone who covered up grooming gangs, and still is, why is that not being mentioned, or wasted millions on such as a Manchester ulez, that was scrapped, wether you support Liebour or not, would you seriously want him representing the UK?
Since when was Carol Vorderman an authority on anything? She’s bonkers.
But all parties apart from Reform have been the Green Party for decades. As to Burnham. With a Dutch wife connected to an EV charging company and Octopus no prizes for guessing he will support rejoin EU and net zero. Follow the money.
Funny how the Far Left change the meaning of words. Liberal used to mean somebody who was open minded but now means a person who wants to stop you doing anything they do not approve of and persecute you shoudl you not agree with them. Progressive used to mean moving forward but not means backward regressive socialism/communism to make our lives much worse.
Green is, always was, and ever will be ideologically Marxist Socialist: socially and economically destructive, anti-capitalist, anti-individual, collectivist, State empowerment over the individual, central economic planning and control, authoritarian, oppressive.
Just like Labour has always been, just not so “in your face” to schmooze the electorate into supporting them. Labour used champion of the workers” as their cover, the Greens “champion of the environment” as theirs. Both are duplicitous,
The Labgreen Party is the inevitable blending.
The basis of democracy is a community elects a representative to Parliament. Their man at the big table. The most votes wins. That one community maybe be more heterogenous and another homogenous is irrelevant. It’s about accountability to a locality on a national level. PR systems undermine this completely and you get anomalies like the gooddawful Greens being overrepresented in Scotland despite winning almost nothing; and holding the balance of power.
MPs, members of and supporters of/voters for the Fake Conservative Party need to decide which side they are on. If you want the the UK to be ruled by Globalist Woke Socialists then stay where you are or move to the Lib Dems or something – whatever floats your boat, doesn’t make much difference. If you want the UK to retain a semblance of Britishness and to remain/return to being an economically prosperous country that values personal freedom, vote Reform.
Regarding your last sentence, it’s definitely a case of “return – if it’s not too late already”.
The presence of millions of people of races and cultures that differ from ours by varying degrees is not reversible. Everything else is, in the long term, provided that the aforementioned demographic change does not prevent it, which it might. Countries and peoples and civilisations prosper or not largely depending on their human capital.
Like this patriotic British lady. But there’s plenty of literal far-Right racists who would cry ”Deport!” as soon as look at her. Because they can’t see beyond someone’s colour and aren’t interested in people as individuals.
Imagine going through life harbouring such levels of hostility towards people you don’t know the first thing about, just pre-judging them because they look different to you. You can’t reason with the unreasonable, and I want nothing to do with such odious bigots;
”Wonderful woman explaining how she is British and that’s why she is out today! People just want respect.”

Speaking of the literal far-Right…and I suppose you can tell a lot about a person who has an actual picture of Hitler on their wall. Ethnats like Sam Melia hate Tommy Robinson because he stands with Israel and isn’t racist. In their tiny bigot brains: patriot = white supremacist & antisemite. Everyone who doesn’t support this view is a ”traitor” or a ”shill”;
”15,000 demographic replacement leaflets out at UTK’s muster point. Now off home before Tommy & Doolan’s African revivalist choir makes a mockery of the patriots attending.”

What utter crap, the only one who sees skin tone is you and your ilk, isnt it time you found some new words, racist, bigot, trans etc etc have all been done to death, it is not racist to want your country to retain its history, culture and values, and it is clear to anyone with half a brain multi culturism doesnt work, the whole of the west is finding that out.
I think I’ve found my super power: triggering the people who recognise themselves in my comments and then get offended as a result. Hostile, racist “complete eejits” ( to recycle your words ) such as yourself.
Cry harder, love. Your emotional incontinence is delicious.🤡😁
…if Reform knew what they were doing.
I think they deserve a chance to show us
It certainly makes sense that the left would form a new combined party to fight everyone else.
Andy B might be the sacrificial lamb to persuade the other parties to join together. However, it is a long term plan and Starmer has already threatened his Party into supporting him or lose your lucrative lifestyles which is working well.
Great article Charlotte, very illuminating.
Having seen the antics of the Tories in Worcestershire going into coalition with the Greens & Lib Dems, it’s quite feasible to see many One Nation Tories being up for this too.
Will someone please explain to me why Andy Burnham is Labour’s messiah? Granted, he is more charismatic than Starmer, but so is a tailor’s dummy. That doesn’t make him the man to be PM.
It’s a genuine question – what is it about Burnham that Labour think makes him the man to get them out of their self-imposed troubles?
I have no idea but it does rather appear that he might be considered as the least worst option. I mean, who else is there? The hope is that he will prevent the MPs descending into guerilla warfare. Also he’s “nice” from the media point of view – an adult in the room. That went well last time.
If he does get in it won’t make any difference ultimately because Labour these days don’t really care about what most of the electorate think and think they got a majority of MPs because their politics was popular.
Burnham’s comments on the bond markets that stand between us and a state of financial collapse have already cost the hard up government a huge wodge of tax income and he hasn’t even won the byelection yet.
Good question. Maybe fear that Angela Raynor would be even worse ?
