May I also add this to the Round-Up:
Spain’s Last Chance: Could Government’s Mass Legalization of Migrants Be Blocked by Supreme Court?
I don’t understand how the Communist government of Spain managed to shove this betrayal of the Spanish People through without a vote in the Spanish Parliament, by saying it was a “ROYAL DECREE”.
How can you issue a “Royal Decree” without … you know… a Royal to decree it?
Unless King Felipe VI approved and signed this “Royal Decree”, then it is NULL & VOID, and he should tell them so in no uncertain terms, standing up to Communist tyranny the way his father King Juan Carlos stood up to Franco’s generals long ago.
And if his Leftist wife badgers him about it, he should put his royal foot down, and tell her to pack it in. (translation: “Callate, mujer!)
May I add this article from The Liverpool Echo to the Round-Up, because it is almost the only news report that reveals the continued suffering of the Southport Stabbing Survivors:
Our daughter was stabbed 30 times in Southport attack, this is why inquiry must bring real change
Unlike most mainstream reports, this article doesn’t just say that three children were killed, but also that the Satanic Rwandan
“SEVERELY WOUNDED eight other children and two adults.”

“The West is losing its moral compass” – “It should be obvious that supporting Israel, Ukraine and the people of Iran is the right thing to do, says Jake Wallis Simons in the Telegraph.”
“Obvious”? Really? No, it should be obvious that SUPPORTING & PROTECTING YOUR OWN COUNTRY, Tribe, Ethnic Group and Ancestral Homeland from Hostile Alien Invaders bent on your destruction is the right thing to do, keeping your own Armed Forces AT HOME to defend you instead of sending them off to be maimed and killed in FOREIGN WARS, and instead of allowing Evil Moneygrubbing Lawyers & Judges to relentlessly hound your own Warriors for decades afterwards, while rewarding Muslim & Catholic IRA Terrorists.

“Cadet suspended from RAF officer-training course for saying Islam is main threat to UK”
Why ‘o why are we even attempting to train soldiers/warriors how to kill when there is obviously no enemies?!.. everyone is our friend so, no need for military personnel in the first place, “come in, kill us, its fine, it’s ok, your welcome!”
Who the actual fu@k is the enemy?
Our politicians?…
“NHS claims ‘it’s raining cats and dogs’ is culturally insensitive”
…because the NHS has nothing else to worry about has it? Like…for instance..the medical well being of its patients!
Ah, see, your forgetting the wonderful NHS employs an army of well paid consultants and managers to root out such insensitive and culturally adherent phrases, ‘does the pope shit in the woods’ and ‘wet enough for dingy migrants’ will be next…. Or is it your children….
They think all that messy medical stuff is boring – far more fun to worry about cultural sensitivities…
“Peers have pushed for stricter social media limits for
under-16s(excuse) in a move that means the Government’sChildren’s Wellbeing(censorship/control) Schools Bill may run out of time in this Parliament”“Pope: It is not in my interest to debate Trump”
Then shut the f#ck up and stick to god bothering!
Notice the play on words “not in MY interest”, implying that debating Drumpf will not further his career in any way. He didn’t merely say that he was not interested in debating him.
An interesting piece written by this guy. I wonder what other men think of his take on this subject;
”Depending on where they fall politically, many people believe, hope, or fear that men are “naturally” ambitious, confrontational, risk-seeking, and other male-coded attributes. Until recently, I believed this myself.
But recently I read “Manhood in the Making,” a 1991 book by the anthropologist David Gilmore. It changed my mind. Gilmore argues that masculinity isn’t something that just happens to boys as they grow up. Cultures had to create manhood — had to actively train it into young men — because the natural state of young males is apathy, self-indulgence, and laziness.
Indeed, many young men today don’t seem like they’re bursting with disruptive energy. They seem checked out. Detached. Coasting through life.
Now, many are told that manhood is just a social construct. And, as Gilmore points out in his fascinating book, it is. But it is a useful one.
Mature masculinity is artificially induced through culture. Mature men do not naturally emerge like butterflies from boyish cocoons. Rather, they must be carefully encouraged, nurtured, counseled, and prodded into taking the actions necessary to achieve mature manhood.
Social conservatives often assume… Read more »

“Pedo on a train” ..Police “Swoop in” on him while watching child abuse material on a train”
Thank goodness he’s white!
God help them if they ever have to “swoop in” on a Pakistani gang actually committing pedophilia!!
If this had been a Pakistani, NOBODY would have said a word let alone reporting him! They’d just have hid behind their newspapers and ignored it. We all know that this is the truth!

This article ( entitled ‘The Young Women Leaving the New Right’ ) is so on point and 100% inline with my observations. This is the sentiment I’m seeing all over Twitter and it’s also present on this site. It perfectly illustrates why I am politically homeless in that my views don’t align with the over-simplistic ‘Left’ or ‘Right’, and I’m sort of in limbo, hanging out in No Man’s Land in the middle, because both of these camps are full of seriously deranged and unpleasant people holding toxic and hostile views that I just cannot associate with either of them. The blatant anti-women, antisemitism and racism prevalent on the so-called ‘Right’ is incredibly off-putting. An excerpt;
”After college, in the waning years of Trump’s first term, Anna wrote for popular right-wing outlets, worked for conservative institutions, and attended movement conferences. She fell in socially with the young firebrands of the New Right; she remembers it as partially happenstance. “You kind of meet people and proceed on and then suddenly you find yourself being a part of this thing,” she tells me. A portion of her early writing was about feminism and gender: “I was doing the typical right-wing female thing… Read more »
“The data centre energy threat is way overblown”
There is also an issue with the amount of water and chemicals needed to keep the servers cool enough to function, I understand, Are we talking about that?
We are now!
A planning application for a data centre in Edinburgh was knocked back, one of the arguments against being that it would “use as much water as an Olympic sized swimming pool” (I’m assuming this would be recycled, since no period was specified). Such a pool uses about 2.5 million litres. In 2023/24, Scottish Water lost 462 million litres of water per day due to leakage.
Luckily Scotland isn’t short of a drop or two!
Oh no! Not another ishoo to panic about!
“Helen Andrews dropped a blunt explanation for why wokeness proved so hard to kill”
Oh no.! Say it isn’t so…!!
Morning Mogwai. I would very much appreciate your take on the last item, the Helen Andrews piece. Do you believe you are atypical in this respect? TIA 🙂
If you don’t answer I will assume you are Helen Andrews 😄😉
I haven’t watched it but I always find it entertaining to see how enthusiastically Helen Andrews – a self-appointed expert on all things woke – has been embraced and held up as a mascot, or some sort of ”Gotcha!”, by many in the conservative/right wing movement who hold anti-women sentiments.
For a more comprehensive, historical and objective view on this topic I recommend the well-read and credentialed James Lyndsay.
This is a thread and you’d need a Twitter account to view the screen shots, but this describes the origins of woke and how it came to be. These men are the architects of the entire ideology. Here is the text;
”Left-wing and woke ideology always presents itself as noble: compassion, justice, equality, progress. But progress toward what? That’s the question almost nobody asks.
To understand modern leftism, especially in its woke form, you have to go back nearly 200 years. Ideas evolve like viruses. As society builds immunity to one bad idea, intellectuals mutate it into something more contagious, more destructive, and harder to detect.
It begins with Hegel. His ideals led to what is now known as a dialectic: Thesis (idea) and antithesis (opposed idea) collide, producing synthesis (new… Read more »
