The Green Party has attacked the BBC for exposing the lies that migrants are telling about their personal lives in order to have their asylum claims approved. The Mail has the story.
In a surprise attack on the corporation, the Greens on Thursday accused it of worsening the already “hostile environment” faced by those claiming asylum.
It followed the BBC revealing that migrants are falsely claiming to be gay, victims of domestic abuse or to have bogus medical conditions to stay in the UK.
In some cases, law firms and advisers are charging thousands of pounds to advise migrants how they can claim to be gay and in fear for their lives if they return to Pakistan or Bangladesh.
Immigration services commissioner Gaon Hart, who oversees the regulation of immigration advisers, said there was “abhorrent abuse of the system” and a minority of advisers were damaging the reputation of the sector.
The Government has launched an investigation into asylum seekers lying about their sexuality or being victims of domestic abuse, branding the practice “shameful”.
But the Greens turned on the BBC for trying to “heighten the hostile environment facing those claiming asylum” through its reporting – despite a third of Britons thinking the broadcaster has a Left-wing bias.
“We are disappointed the BBC failed to put this report in context, showing the challenges those genuinely claiming asylum face,” a Greens spokesman said.
“When it gives so much prominence to the report, stretching it out over multiple days of reporting, it ceases to be in the public interest and instead serves to heighten the hostile environment facing those claiming asylum.”
The spokesman added that the report “gives an entirely false impression of a system which is, in reality, stacked against people seeking asylum”.

People can go n Youtube and see the mess in places like Paris that mass immigration of migrants is causing with criminality, attacks on police cars etc etc.
The EU is the cause of this total clutter and we simply never see any of this on mainstream TV News. Even the the channel that is most against mass immigration (GB NEWS) that will regularly highlight the absurdity of immigration policy are not going as far as to show these scenes of total anarchy all over the EU. Then because our feeble EU lackey Political Class refuse to deal with this mess it s all coming to a town and village near you.
Europe is LOST and the UK is LOST. We are sleepwalking to DISASTER.
A couple of years back someone I know who goes to LGBT venues said its regular for ‘a bus load’ of people to arrive and have ‘posed’ photos taken with trans and gay guests and he surmised this was part of a scam so I’m not surprised to see the bbc report

All those I have come across and spoken with who spout ‘Green’ politics are to a man hypocrites and/or absolute nutters.
Can we stop calling them “Greens” and use the true name, Marxist-Socialists. They always were, “Green” was just a cover, now they don’t feel the need to hide what they are. That in itself is revealing, because their politics and ideology is adjacent the Uniparty.

Could somebody please give me a single example from the last 20 years when the BBC presented the right-wing view of any notable issue with anything else but derision, ridicule and outright hostility?
It really is time for the Electoral Commission to review this renegade, extremist party and insist on a review of their name. It seems that they are no longer a party with a primary interest in the environment and are now solely interested in supporting the overthrow of the Anglo Saxon heritage and culture of the country. I’ve said it before and will repeat it here, how does unfettered mass migration achieve the historic ambition of the party to improve the environment and halt the (supposed) man made climate change? The support for any type of migrants can only see increased use of air travel and road transport, which used to be an anathema to the people who set the organisation up. I don’t imagine many immigrants, legal or illegal, will be cycling or using sails to arrive here. Mass migration of the type they are wedded to will increase demand for housing, seeing more countryside obliterated and more pollution, effluent and other detritus in our streets, as they will not be happy until every city resembles the slum shanty towns of the third world.
When was the Green Party “a party with a primary interest in the environment”?
Some time in the 1980s, presumably. At least, that’s how it was for the German Greens.
Ditto for the ‘Labour’ party?
As we have a particularly high level of accepting asylum claims (about two thirds, I think it is.) its really beggaring belief to say that it is too strict. Peoples claims must always be on the facts. If claimants are lying, and many do about their sexual proclivities, then they should be returned to their place of origin forthwith. It is not our problem to fret about what may happen to them. They have made a choice.
The Greens seem to forget that ‘claiming asylum’ and the riches that follow, SHOULD be difficult. Otherwise you could end up with a country with 10m hangers on, who create nothing, but sit with their hands out while the rest of us are told to shut up, give up our money and look the other way.
Wouldn’t that be terrible…
