It’s long been a joke amongst gun-totin’ Republicans in the U.S. that the mainstream media does an absolutely terrible job of reporting stories involving firearms: any Russian-looking rifle is called an AK-47, “AR” stands for “assault rifle”, the terms fully-automatic and semi-automated are often conflated, ordinary rifles become “high-powered rifles”, etc. And it’s been another bad day for journalists and commentators on both sides of the pond (including, it seems, the NYPD), as the video showing the appalling murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson seems to have provoked a flurry of speculation about the particular gun used by the killer, who has been described as a “professional” and “possibly… a trained assassin”.
The excitement seems to stem not so much from the brazen and cold-blooded nature of the killing, but because the killer was clearly using a silenced (or “suppressed”) pistol – something which is very unusual outside of Hollywood films and special forces raids. It’s also evident from the video that the killer had to manually cycle the action of the gun – meaning the spent cartridge case had to be ejected and a new cartridge loaded into the chamber – after each shot. This has led many to think the particular weapon was a Brügger & Thomet VP9 (or a later version called the Station Six), which is a gun derived from the Welrod, a quiet assassins’ pistol developed for the Special Operations Executive during WWII and supposedly used by British special forces into the 2000s. But despite not being any kind of expert in this area, I’m willing to go along with the noted firearms experts Ian McCollum and the Keeper at the Royal Armouries Jonathan Ferguson in stating the gun used was definitely not a VP9 or other Welrod derivative.
There are two main problems with the VP9 claim. The first is that the manipulation needed to cycle the action of a VP9 involves a turning or twisting motion, unlike the straight-back racking of the gun’s slide that we see in the video. The second and more important problem is the very obvious puff of gas or smoke that we see coming out of the back of the gun after each shot. The Welrod (and VP9) was specifically designed not to allow gases to escape from the gun as much as possible, either from the dangerous end or from the rear of the gun – this is pretty much the whole point, since (assuming the use of subsonic ammunition) the only appreciable sounds made by a firearm are (a) the gases escaping from the muzzle and from the chamber when the action cycles, and (b) the sound made by the metal bolt as it moves back and forth between shots. At the front end, gases are trapped in the VP9 by a series of “wipes”, which are circular pieces of rubber through which the bullet travels but which close up again and trap the gas after the bullet passes. Gases at the rear are also trapped because the chamber isn’t opened as in a normal semi-automatic pistol to eject the cartridge case, but remains closed until the user manually cycles the action (which also means the bolt doesn’t make a noise when the gun fires).
The problem with the setup used by this alleged “professional” is that silencers affect the ability of a semi-automatic pistol to cycle properly, commonly because the extra weight of the silencer on the barrel (which moves as part of the action in the vast majority of pistols) means a standard recoil spring might not be able to properly chamber the next round. We see something like this in the video, where the gun is clearly “out of battery” and needs percussive maintenance. I don’t want to give advice to murderers, but testing a weapon – with or without watermelons – is considered helpful.
Despite all this, it’s easy to see why commentators have been quick to jump on the idea it was a VP9. Guns like this are fairly rare special-purpose weapons – making them sexy in a grim kind of way, and adding spice to the story. (I’m reminded of when the 7.65x21mm round used in the Annecy shootings was described as being popular with assassins – who knew?) But firearms enthusiasts love these kinds of weapons too, and can also get carried away, for instance with the modern version of the spec-ops De Lisle carbine being called the “Silent Destroyer”. Unfortunately, in this instance the firearm used was almost certainly just an ordinary semi-automatic pistol, to which the killer attached an ordinary silencer. Given the killer might well have used ordinary supersonic ammo, it’s also quite possible the gun was almost as loud as an ordinary unsilenced pistol. But that isn’t nearly so thrilling.

I never liked Will Jones writing when he used to do the round-up etc. Especially some pictures he would choose. But credit where it’s due, I really enjoy & often read in full, your articles now, they’ve really improved & more importantly I often agree with you.
indeed.
Worse still, THIS is what is these people are going to get punished for? This?
Not lockdowns, not the aggressive promotion of dodgy vaccines, not the masking of children, not the reckless spending of public money. Not for any of the things that have actually caused untold damage and misery. No. For their hypocrisy. Hypocrisy is what we can’t handle.
Please…
Blackmailing a whole nation, with their protection racket. ‘Government approved’ scammers flogging PCRs & LFTs.
“You can’t leave or re-enter the country unless you give us and our mates some more money.”
Yes exactly. The mafia used to go around breaking windows in the night and then they would turn up the next day in window fitting vans to pick up the business they created. Same trick, different players. These people are criminals, they are scum, and the walls are closing in on them.
Lawyer Anna De Buisseret Speaks On Nuremberg 2 & Common Law
https://www.bitchute.com/video/88dbywRXDqk3/
The walls are NOT closing in. Even if they do not succeed this time in turning the world into a prison, they will face no punishment. They still control all politics, all media, all NGOs, all courts. Just like Blair they will smirk at their crimes and get away with it all. And next time, they will hit us harder.
Not quite all media. We are free to express ourselves on this and innumerable other blogs, podcasts and independent media.
There has been a stampede from Twitter to Gab and GETTR. Our legacy media has always been politically aligned, until more recently when they have all gone woke. But now, the alternative media is organising itself quite naturally along political lines.
Trump flushed them all out. Only then did we understand quite how left wing Twitter and FB are as well. They are no longer social media, they are political media.
Don’t agree. I think historical precedents (Blair) are useless because we are in uncharted waters. Perhaps one needs a leaning towards metaphysics (I have) to perceive that a massive energy shift is taking place. Not enough space here to explain this in coherent physics so I’m in danger of sounding like a complete flake, and I’d admit that my hopes have ben raised once or twice in the last year only to be dashed, but this feels different and I’m pretty hopeful. Anyway, we shall see. I’m all for realism but I sometimes wish people here would be a bit more positive – you get what you focus on and for two years the world has been focussed on fearful stuff.
Al Capone was arrested on Inland Revenue violations, not booze running. Served the same purpose.
Afraid not. It would signal to the country that violations of lockdowns should be punished, when they really shouldn’t. Boris Johnson paying for something that isn’t actually wrong would do more harm than good.
Violations of lockdown were punished.
Boris Johnson being locked up for breaking the rules he and his government imposed on the rest of the country is a matter of natural justice.
How many lives and businesses were ruined because of those restrictive practices the elite saw beneath them?
How much did these regulations cost the country?
What licence does it give politicians, the uber wealthy and civic officials to do as they wish whilst the proles can only stand and watch?
And where does it stop?
It wasn’t (isn’t) just hypocrisy, it was a violation of lockdown so it was wrong. I bet half the people who received that email were working from home.
Surely, it’s that hypocrisy which underlines the needless grief to which they insisted on subjecting the rest of us?
Once the realisation bites, more people who were generally compliant are going to see how they’ve been had.
I’m one of the lucky ones, since I didn’t lose a ‘can’t be visited’ loved one during this entire shitshow, but there must be many such people whose blood is now boiling.
Maybe these revelations are getting kind of tedious now, but we need them! I’m sure Saint Boris was almost hoping we’d forgotten the ones made before Christmas, while we raged about plastic waste from tests, or masked children at school. We do not want the public slipping back into a mindset of “restrictions are/were for the greater good”. We need the public to be angry, and for Saint Boris and his merry men to be exposed as the liars and hypocrites that they are. I can almost hear Saint Boris muttering “oh my cron, I was hoping the plebs had forgotten that by now, I wish they would move on”.
We need the public, more importantly, to realize they need not fear the virus.
I wonder if, on the heels of the Project Veritas revelations, someone will find that Boris et al. were dosing on ivm prophylactically.
The police should arrest everyone who was in attendance as they so enthusiastically did to any members of the public attending gatherings during this time.
Did they really arrest so many people though?
Or was it a handful of cases that were deliberately publicised widely to frighten people into compliance?
I would be really, really careful of what we wish for. Do we really want to promote the police arresting people “illegally” gathering in private? Retrospectively?
Yes but remember Johnson and others in government told everyone they had stay in at home and used the police to promote this. Our leaders should be seen to be following their own ‘guidance’ and suffering the consequences if they don’t. That said, I understand your point. Johnson and Co can never impose another lockdown now and the police won’t be able to enforce it.
Im more concerned about HMG murdering and maiming people with experimental injections and lying about it not being an issue, masking and experimenting on children, terrorism, rigging the death certificate registration system to promote the scam, withholding safe and effective treatments while fast tracking people to ventilators, experimenting on people with Remdesevir when they have safe drugs, killing off the nursing home residents with Midazolam then saying it was Convid wot done it etc etc
Agreed
1000 upticks
…whilst having little jollies to congratulate themselves on a job well done! And STILL people don’t see it!
Agree with you but it takes finding a loose thread before a jumper is unravelled.
What’s of at least as much concern is Boris’ drive to impose his ‘legacy’ on the country, NetZero.
There are already backbenchers objecting to it as the cost begins to unfold. Theresa May announced £1.4Tn cost as though that would be the end of it. But that’s only the cost to the Taxpayer. Every household in the country will be forced to spend £100,000 to have their homes NetZero compliant. Roughly £3.5Tn of taxed money straight out of consumers pockets.
And when have we ever known a government budget to come in on target. In the not too distant future the £1.4Tn will turn into £5Tn+ as the entire national grid requires upgrading, every street in the UK is dug up to install electric vehicle chargers and associated upgraded cabling from substations.
The cost of the labour alone will dwarf that as we only have one third of the physical manpower to accomplish all this. Where will the rest come from? Guess where, immigrant labour.
A figment of my fevered imagination? No. Predictions from Professor of Engineering Michael Kelly https://www.thegwpf.org/content/uploads/2020/05/KellyDecarb-1.pdf
You left out the sacking of healthcare workers who elect not to be jabbed.
Indeed!
I’m sure a few people were “made an example of”, to terrify the public. Such people might even have been paid stooges. The “coffee in Derbyshire” incident had “planned and scripted” written all over it.
Plus several high profile slebs getting whacked with abnormally brutal illness ‘ pour encourager les autres’. I’m thinking Gheorghe Markov style gamps.
I wouldn’t have been saying that 3 years ago but now…
The Chinese treatment would be nice. Presenting them handcuffed and in hazmat suits to the public….
Why is it that allegations against Boris Johnson always seem to appear at a time when the government is trying to be more relaxed about COVID?
Could it be for the same reason that South Africa first announces it’s all over and then a few days later inexplicably back tracks?
It’s to make sure he sticks with the vax passports when they drop the other restrictions later this month. The mask mandate was never anything but cover for those.
Yep. Masks were the trial balloon and opening of the box of the Pandora. The medically pointless, if not harmful, Gessler’s hat and imtitial attack on bodily autonomy.
He won’t get vax passports passed the 1922 committee and they have the power to remove him from number 10, which will mean no cream pie on the menu from Marie Antoinut nut. This revelation is to soften the population up for the lifting of restrictions on the 26th of January.
I actually think these revelations serve the opposite purpose in that they encourage the population to stick two fingers up to the rules. Hence why I think these leaks are emanating from government. In fact I think they are the brain child of Cummings who never stopped advising. They are straight out of his counter intuitive play book.
This certainly looks like the work of Cummings. He was involved at the time, and since he is an obsessive probably kept detailed records of everything that went on.
The question is: what are his motivations? From what I’ve read he was a huge fan of Gates and of the whole technocratic response, so why would he want to undermine the government at this point?
He wants Gove as PM.
Revenge is a dish best served cold. They fired him, he ‘suddenly’ finds damning evidence of their wrong doing in his files. I bet he’s got loads of emails if this one doesn’t score a hit.
Given that control of how the public think and act is now done by marketing, look at the messaging in the media. A couple of weeks ago, 100% fear porn you’re all gonna DIE!!!!!!!!! Then gradually the stories change, the messaging hinting at the dangers easing etc, just as the full damage caused by government actions over the last two years is becoming clearer to more people. There is now a sprinkling of other views appearing in the MSM. Either the politicians go full fascist for total control, or try to avoid being found guilty of crimes against humanity.
I don’t really give a rats arse about politicians partying, as there was no valid reason for such restrictions, apart from the hypocrisy, but if it helps unearth the rest of dirt then fair enough.
The biggest surprise about this is that, given the louche dishonesty and amorality of the dramatis personae, anyone should be even remotely surprised.
Johnson, in true Etonian politician style, will put blame elsewhere and throw some so-and-so under the bus.
There must be mountains of compromat on him out there. All neatly catalogued ready to be used at the right moment
Just like there is for ‘Sir’ Tony Blair…. not gonna happen.
Boris is a rank amateur compared to the slithering Blair.
And Carrie had Cummings sacked, the only person on a par with Campbell at effecting change. The difference is, Campbell would have had Carrie sacked long before he was.
There has to be a consequence. Let’s start with Professor Lockdown.
https://www.change.org/p/sir-chris-whitty-uk-cmo-must-be-interviewed-on-the-joe-rogan-experience
Pantsdown? A useful experimental subject for students of infectious diseases.
It’s funny how these items appear just as Boris has a key decision to make – in this case the removal of all Plan B guff later this month.
Does anyone seriously think that this email has only just been discovered, clearly it was leaked for a purpose.
Boris (and I have no love for him, but we could do a lot worse) is being ‘blackmailed’ into keeping the Vax Passports.
Want more evidence? Notice how quickly the original Partygate investigations where dropped once Boris approved of Plan B. The met announced they had dropped the investigation the same evening IIRC
“….but we could do a lot worse”
Read Dominic Cummings blog and you would regret making that statement.
We could have wee jimmy
No we couldn’t. She’s not eligible as far as I’m aware.
the question should be cui bono – why now after all this time. Who benefits?
Well this is incorrect for a start, leading what?!
Adam Wagner, a leading lawyer and expert on Covid regulations, said: “This looks unlikely to be legal for attendees. Being outside the home was illegal at the time”
Paul B,
I was also puzzled by that. Had/has attending a gathering being illegal
been passed by parliament?
I’m glad they had parties. It shows there was nothing to fear.
The problem is that people feel hard done by and therefore want them punished as opposed to saying “you set the precedent, now let’s ditch the restrictions”.
This could be great ammunition to highlight the hypocrisy but it will be used in the wrong way.
Great, so when food rationing is introduce you would be happy the elite were tucking into Caviare and Pâté de Foie Gras whilst we all managed a ham sandwich for Christmas dinner……..
What they did almost defines Totalitarianism.
And one day there will be a knock at the door and the Police will take your computer away…
What, and leave me with no means to carry my digital vax passport?
Now you’re just contradicting yourself.
Your ‘vaxx pass’ can be downloaded to your smartphone (by using your smartphone, strangely enough!), or printed out.
You don’t need a computer to “carry your vaxx pass around in”.
Anyway, why would the Police care if you can’t access your Vaxx Pass, if you’re not leaving the country?
I am not contradicting myself at all.
What on earth do you imagine a smartphone is?
It’s a hand held computer………
“Anyway, why would the Police care if you can’t access your Vaxx Pass, if you’re not leaving the country?”
You appear blissfully ignorant of the concept of a social credit system. That doesn’t work with a bit of paper with a vax pass printed on it.
totally agree. When I speak to anyone who is outraged by the fact they had a party. My question always is “why weren’t they scared for their families like the rest of us, what were they aware of that we weren’t”. Its not that they had a party, its that they felt totally safe to do so. This is the message that people should question, that it was unsafe to have parties, they obviously knew it wasn’t.
Absolutely. Yet again, the main story isn’t the breaking of the Rules, it’s the fact that there was obviously no reason for them to have been imposed in the first place!
Murder to the elderly should be the headline, Matt Hancock Chris Whitty Boris Johnson all should be prosecuted for murder of millions and be given the appropriate sentence, end of
If the Bernican is as good as his word, that’s precisely what’s happening right now. Or at least in the early stages of a criminal investigation by the MET.
How far it will get, goodness knows.
Yes, their making of the rules, their absurd, draconian rules, is their evil, not their irrelevant hypocrisy.
The ‘rules’ are cleverly designed to keep the plebs in their place. Working just fine!
Don’t forget that the ideology behind lockdown is widespread and in no way confined to parliament.
I’ve never been one for ‘conspiracy theories’ but, yes, from all I’ve read and seen for myself since March 2020, this is a worldwide ‘project’.
Note, none of these measures have ever been put to a vote for any nation: “Shall we keep the face masks and vaccines and rules, or get rid of the lot? YOU decide!”
How about asking the people themselves what they want?
January 11th 2022 today – I still haven’t got ‘Covid’!
Posters on here keep on about the Vaxx Passports. Perhaps it’s time to accept that they are already here, and are not likely to be going away – ever.
“Boris and pals break the rules” – well, they’ve been doing that all the time. And? Does anyone seriously think the Police are going to cart Boris off because he (allegedly) suggested people “bring their own booze to a … ‘business meeting’?
I expect the ‘Alpha Male Assembly’ will deal with Boris, when they’ve finished karate-chopping their pizza boxes. And whatever happened to the Guardians300, the ‘Common Law Police’? All gone very quiet there.
Never. It’s a fight to the death. Because living with vaccine passports is basically like being dead. Dead inside, anyway.
And why are they here to stay? Actually, vaccine passports can only persist if there are going to be regular compelled jabs indefinitely. I’m not so sure the public is up for that.
They went to fast to soon.
People would gladly trade their freedom and cash and privacy and autonomity for an app that saves them time or if you just gave them a free Mars bar.
Incentivisation, tracked via an app, 5-10 more years and the whole thing would have been wrapped up… No carbon for you fattie until your score is raised.
Now we see them for what they really are.
I agree, ‘vaccine passports’ are wrong – but we all have them now, whether you’ve been jabbed or not. There they are, in your NHS files. If you haven’t had any ‘Covid vaccine’ it’ll say zero taken on the ‘pass’. But the ‘pass’ does exist.
Someone has made them, and someone is maintaining them. And for anyone who has had the jabs, the timer is running down. Every day is one day less on the validity – until you get a ‘booster’ and then the time limit gets bumped up a bit.
When you see the ‘Alpha Male Assembly’ kick-boxing their empty Nike trainers boxes, is that the “fight to the death” you speak of?
The EU ‘Vaxx Passes’ were introduced last July. There is no sign of them going anywhere. From what I gather, there will be a 4th jab coming before Summer, and a 5th before Christmas.
I’m sure I remember people saying the public would all be dead of ADE before this Christmas (already behind us) with the 2nd jab… and no-one would be taking a 3rd ‘booster’ – yet, here we are, they are still queuing up for their boosters – I saw them at our local health centre last week.
I think the public is more than willing to take ‘Covid/Flu jabs’ forever – they’ve been taking ‘flu jabs for the past 20 years already.
We’ll just have to see… but my feeling is that, by January 2023, we’ll be in much of a similar position as now. Those with ‘vaxx passes’ will have more ‘privileges’, those without won’t have those ‘privileges’. Not something I want. But, as you see, we already have cries for more of the same – people think Boris should stay, for example. “Or it could be much worse”. Now, where have I heard that one before?
I’m not so pessimistic. I think vax passports will end up like rationing cards that lingered far longer than anyone would have liked, but eventually made no sense and disappeared.
Let’s see.
That might happen. Or they might be expanded to include all sorts of other information that the state holds on you. All for your own convenience of course…
Suspect you are right. They are one reason why the Dictators , whether elected atm or nascent in waiting, they won’t be abandoned, as with some form of restrictions. If the restrictions are lifted so that businesses can say – “we don’t need to see your vaxpass” – they will fade away. So they won’t.
That is a tad Doomsday but I fear it might come to pass.
“Perhaps it’s time to accept that they are already here, and are not likely to be going away – ever.”
Utter nonsense.
Have you looked at yours yet? It’s in your medical files in ‘The Cloud’. Do let us know when it’s not there anymore.
No I haven’t looked at my vax passport because I wasn’t stupid enough to download any apps.
Technology isn’t always sinister. If you would rather we went back to the days when an emergency visit to a hospital required a week’s wait for your medical records to be delivered by hand, you’re welcome to it.
You don’t need to download any apps to view your ‘Vaxx Pass’. I’ve seen mine. Although here we have to go through our bank accounts to get to our ‘Own Health Files’. Mine says 0/2 for the vaccines so can’t be used for travel. My partners shows 2/2 jabs – so she can use hers for travel.
But, of course, hers is only valid for 9 months after her 2nd jab… it’s the 3rd jab before June for her, or she becomes ‘not fully vaxxed’.
My partner had her 2nd jab in August. Pfizer Comirnaty. No noticeable side effects, still alive. I did suggest to her that she didn’t get the jabs, but she wanted them.
I also haven’t seen my vax pass because I haven’t been ‘vaxxed’.
I’m interested in this bit: “Although here we have to go through our bank accounts to get to our ‘Own Health Files’. Mine says 0/2 for the vaccines so can’t be used for travel. My partners shows 2/2 jabs – so she can use hers for travel.”
To my knowledge, any disclosure to your bank of a health status is illegal unless you have authorised it.
Travel is contingent upon your carrier and the laws of entry into the country you are travelling to. If an airline is happy to let you fly without you being vaccinated, it’s up to them.
Having or not having a vaccine is not a government imposed restriction on travel.
Sturgeon threatened the country with that nonsense and was roundly ridiculed.
You don’t need to be ‘vaxxed’ to have a ‘vaxx pass’ – it’s given to you whether you like it or not.
The bank doesn’t know our ‘Government info’ – it’s just that access to this is through using your bank codes here in Finland. ‘Own Health Files’, Social Security, Unemployment Benefits, Insurance, Driving Licences, that sort of thing.
Not being ‘fully vaxxed’ for entry to the UK means you have to pre-purchase 2 PCR tests, and it’s a 10-day quarantine supervised by Serco’s Test & Trace with the aid of Mitie marshalls (snoops).
You won’t get past the check-in at an airport unless you have your ‘Covid papers’ in order.
Even the ‘fully vaxxed’ will have to present their Passenger Locator Form + proof of pre-purchase of an LF test kit.
You might find an airline that doesn’t care about your Vaxx Status, getting to their plane is another matter.
Ye Gods.
You’re on a UK site. Kindly deal with UK issues, not Finnish issues, or at least make it clear which you are talking about.
People keep on ranting about death camps where Jews are gassed.
Perhaps it’s time to accept that they’re already here…
Ten downticks! But I still maintain my view:
1) Vaccine Passports ain’t going anywhere – a lot of time and money has been invested in making these. They are your shackles. How about finding out exactly who is making and maintaining them?
2) The Police aren’t going to touch Johnson. You know it. Get rid of this silly fantasy that he is going to end up jail eating rats.
3) The Police will arrest members of the ‘Alpha Male Assembly’ if they are seen as a threat.
I have had a look. It’s pretty sinister. A company called Entrust was awarded a couple of contracts last year to produce Cloud computing software for “Covid Passes” for the NHS. This company is owned by the Quandt family – who have strong links to the NaZi party, who are step-grand-children of Joseph Goebbels.
Six degrees of separation.
How far removed are you from Goebbels?
It’s probably mostly made in India using cheap labour, these ‘Vaccine Passes’.
The thing is, someone has designed them, someone is buying them, and someone has stuck them in your NHS files.
So, they may be ‘dormant’ if you never go and even look at yours, and ‘inactive’ if you never get a ‘Covid vaccine’ – but there they are.
It IS VERY sinister HH; a US lady – from memory – posted a video where she dissected the Quandt family who openly have admitted using slave forced labour during WWII, and turning a blind eye to the fatalities of these people whilst they did their bidding; so much for DD.
So we are, metaphorically, one step away from “trains, tracks, gates, wooden huts, barbed wire”. Inconceivable the UK CS and Number 10 unaware of their history before signing the contract.
I don’t think anyone is suggesting Boris would be arrested, as much as we would all like it.
The point is, should he resign, or will he be ignominiously kicked out his job by the 1822 committee?
The 1822 committee would have been rid of him 100 years earlier.
Revolting as the idea is, I think we need to pray that Bozo stays in power. Simply because any alternative would be worse. And because Tory rebels are finding chinks in his covviarmour.
PS. How many of those who attended these jolly little gatherings subsequently went home and killed Granny?
“I think we need to pray that Bozo stays in power.”
Did you send him a Christmas card?
I agree, Johnson’s focus is likely financial unlike Labour whose focus is enslavement of the population
Dishi Rishi?
Whilst it would be nice to skewer Boris and his cronies for their hypocrisy, the real issue is that they punished us with outrageous restrictions which they clearly knew were unnecessary.
Also, why are they having so many bloody parties anyway?
I see Project Veritas has hit gold again over in America.
The conservative treehousedotcomm has the story.
As our host might say “well worth a look”
Not much else to do,.. ;-D
If this leads to a bounce for Labour, God help us. Starmer saying only yesterday that ventilation systems (which will cost schools 40m in Northern Ireland alone), vaccines for every single age group indefinitely and masks are the answer. They are so far off the deep end they’ve forgotten they were once land dwelling animals.
WTF does Starmer or any other labour politician know about ventilation or architecture?
All politicians need to STFU and stop interfering in peoples day to day lives.
https://www.tichyseinblick.de/meinungen/linke-staat-autoritaet/
Splendid article in Germaan yesterday on why the Left now loves authoritarianism.
“now”
Yes. The article concentrates on the historical background in Germany, but as it says, this has always been the basis of the left “seit dem Auftauchen der politischen Linken in der Französischen Revolution”
Thought they were all guidelines for those who had been traumatised by their daily covid propaganda bulletins. Johnson never looks happy doing them maybe coerced by his handlers for various reasons. IMO these gatherings only endorse what many thought, that this was not ‘a deadly virus’
Fresh Allegations Emerge That Boris Attended Drinks in the No. 10 Garden During Lockdown
Personally, I really couldn’t care less.
Hitler prospered thanks to you.
Yes it’s important but in the scheme of things, in my mind, it’s right at the bottom of the list in terms of immediate investigation required. It was a party, a meeting, a gathering, drinks may or may not have been consumed, cheese may or may not have been eaten, some rules were possibly broken. Take a look at the bigger picture. It’s a distraction, we’ll get back to it.
I care – a lot.
Any such hypocrisy is not acceptable.
But, that dwarfs in comparison to the fact that they were not afraid in the slightest about the big bad woolfie virus while having these casual gatherings.
Cummings/Gove have been busy arming their troops (drip-feed titbits to MSM, promises to wannabees). The Real Powers That Be are aware England is becoming a bit of an outlier what with some restrictions being relaxed as omicron is dampening the desired effect.
We can’t have a Great Awakening amongst some sheep can we.
So, get ready for a new leader in the cabal.
To combat this just imagine, Johnson emulates Churchill by admitting that covid was a sham all along, due to the RPTB wanting digital ID.
Yes I agree that you could be right. TPTB must be getting twitchy what with Moronic not performing so well and Djikovic proving how farcical it is the dam is bursting and they can see their Plandemic becoming a dud.
Last week “it was all over”.
Now it’s 5% in the shops without face masks.
My bet is that Boris and pals, SAGE and Pfizer, Blackrock, Vanguard, and the World Economic Forum, know exactly what they’re doing. They have the time and money to keep on plotting and planning.
The ‘bursting dam’ and ‘house of cards collapsing’ has been going on for several months already.
Yes, and what’s this ludicrous ‘living with COVID’ plan that they intend to publish in April?
It could be issued now, the shortest white paper ever.
1) Take text of any short previous govt document:
2) Cross out ‘flu’, insert ‘COVID’.
Whenever a government seizes power over something, no matter how small, it never gives it up.
A case in point is terrorism legislation, now deployed for reasons the public never expected it to be used for.
I think it’s fanciful to believe that the mega rich, huge ego’s, involved with the WEF wouldn’t spontaneously combust at a moment’s notice.
All these people are obsessed with getting their own way. Gates, Bezos and Soros are all aggressive uber capitalists with their own idea of how the world should be run and who should lead it, and it isn’t any of the others.
Schwab is a useful idiot to them. he can’t control them and they will never work together.
Neil Oliver nailed it in his video after the first round of revelations about partying at No 10.
He pointed out that what was most noticeable about the participants was their absence of fear. They weren’t social distancing, they weren’t wearing masks, they were behaving as anyone would if there wasn’t a killer virus about. In other words, normally.
They promoted fear amongst the rest of the population but had none themselves; perhaps because they knew that there really was nothing to fear.
What bugs me is that this security theatre has been obvious from day one. All those plastic screens in shops and bars, masks, arrows on the floor, hand sanitiser, don’t go out, rule of 6, don’t stand so close to me, wear a mask if you stand up in a pub but take it off when you sit down………all of it complete and utter bollocks!
You only have to look at the pictures from the G7 gathering in Cornwall last year, the way the “elite” mixed freely, while keeping the waiters serving them drinks masked up. You see ministers approaching number 10 with a mask slapped a Ross their chops, but as soon as the door opens, they are whipping it off to step inside.
Yeah, so Boris and co had a party because they knew there was nothing to fear. Probably celebrating how well stage 1 of the fear campaign had gone. It confirms the hypocrisy, but what needs calling out is why they promoted fear to everyone else, while not being afraid themselves. What did they know that they weren’t telling?
It’s not the party that matters, it’s the mindset behind it. That’s where probing questions need to be asked.
“Prime Minister, why did you shut down our country, destroy businesses, close schools, deny people medical treatment for anything except Covid, lock up healthy people, introduce a “vaccine” that clearly doesn’t work, and frighten people half to death; when by your own actions, throughout all this, there was, and is, nothing to fear?”
Fear for the gullible, the ‘get out’s’ were always there, lanyards, wear one of those and you were safe !. Many didnt want to see that, they were 1. gullible 2. enjoyed the excitement 3 wanted lockdown for various reasons
Lanyards and an ID card are prized possessions for those desperate to validate themselves.
They are worth any cost.
We should all wish to be anonymous from our government.
I fricken hate the almost universal wearing of lanyards. Seeing people wearing them going to/from college etc, does my head in. Incidentally, anyone entering a college wearing an ‘ID’ is going to be invisible. How difficult, to create something that looks the part?
Same for the adoption of wearing safety goggles, hi-viz and hard-hat for making a piece of toast. The practice of sticking the hazzards on … when not remotely presenting a hazzard.
All this shit drives me crazy. What it actually does is errodes personal responsibility and ability to make decisions.
I have a mate who was head of H&S for a major UK Newspaper group. His approach was that H&S must be used only to get a job done safely, it must not get in the way of the job getting done.
The objective is to find creative ways to approach safety issues at work on a case by case basis.
He’s appalled at the ‘High Viz’ obsession and unions using standardised H&S policy to impose a no work culture in many workplaces. His objective was to use H&S to enhance productivity, which the bosses obviously loved, and it worked well.
A brilliant guy, just a normal bloke other than he’s obsessive about the subject, but then he’s on the autistic spectrum. It actually makes him easier to talk to as he’s unconsciously brutally honest which suits me.
I would trace it back to the fashion for wearing a helmet to ride a bicycle. A helmet to ride a bicycle! Once you start doing that, every second of your life appears to be an mortal danger too.
I’m a retired archaeologist and whilst a lot of my former colleagues are fairly ‘down to earth,’ there many some project managers who are obsessed with high-viz and hard hats. A classic example was on TV this week where Alice Roberts was at a site on the line of HS2. In a field in the middle of no-where everyone was wearing bright orange garb and those sodding lids. The only threat I could discern was that of pigeon poo or a phantom train ahead of scedule. What is it with these people, are they plain H&S crazy?
What bothers me most is that they were not scared of the story getting out at the time because the meeja were working for the same overlords as them. The fact that these stories are now coming out may show that the overlords are losing their grip on our government. Unfortunately that lazy fat fuck of a prime minister has probably generated a bulging library of kompromat for them.
In a strange twist of fate it actually demonstrates how many of the 100 invited thought it was a really bad idea. Only 30 or 40 turned up, many others evidently objected to it as a really bad idea.
Only because they had fear of getting caught, not fear of the cold!
One way or the other, at least they displayed some integrity even if it was not to be caught, which is the point isn’t it?
Yeah, but they had to bring their own booze, it wasn’t provided. That would have deterred the skinflints.
They don’t give a sh*t.
They know it’s fake and invented, to serve their (masters) purpose.
When they do give a sh*t, it’s only in front of the cameras, totally staged.
The height of that Ionescu theatre play was the Queen sitting alone and masked at her husband’s funeral.
They probably told her that this was the price she has to pay to keep her son out of jail.
Exactly. This is why it is acutely pertinent/important.
That is pretty much on the money. Before Rona I had spent the previous couple of years researching the fact that there was a huge plan to take away our lives as knew it…in the name of Sustainable Development. When in March 2020 it all kicked off, I knew what the ulterior motive was. Everything that has happened since, is meant to happen. Why none of makes sense is because it’s NOT meant to! It’s rolled out to plan…but not well enough! Massive cracks are appearing and not all the people are being fooled, when they need EVERYONE under the spell! It’s an absolute mess now, and they know it. I think there is going to be a bit of a slow retreat, s bit of damage limitation, taking their plans back into the shadows. I’m not saying it’s going to end, far from it but we are in a strong position. I know there are those that say this all part of the plan to deceive us and play us but I’m not so sure. Their sheet arrogance and their thickness is their downfall. Too many are awake now, too many able to use their brains to see the bigger picture. They’ve underestimated us and it’s backfiring on them and they know it!
The idea that there is a lunge for a one world government takeover is a nice one to harbour but really quite fanciful when you think of it.
The EU aspiring to a single government couldn’t retain the UK, a principle member. It’s now facing challenges to its ambitions on many levels. The USA is only loosely a single country, even if Biden agreed to surrender his job as POTUS, there are 50 more almost independent states who would have their own view.
Do we really imagine China and N.Korea would conform to a western style UN government?
By way of contradiction, the very ones claim a UN one world government then squeal about China taking over the world.
Nor am I convinced Putin isn’t giggling over the whole concept.
The USSR and the west couldn’t even control a hinterland like Afghanistan for Pete’s sake.
You are confusing “universal unity” with “government”. During feudal times you’ve had monarchs whose vassals were constantly competing among each other, even fighting wars with each other, but still (usually) not threatening the monarch’s power, but rather sucking up to their immediate upper rank lord, knowing that they were more or less at his mercy. This is also how corporations operate, how mafia operates, and how today’s “shadow government” works – you do not see the monarchs, just the vassals, but you can infer the monarchs’ existence from observing what the vassals may or may not do.
If they’re as clever as many here assume, they would have anticipated some kick-back. Appearing to take notice of it and to appear to give ground may be part of this strategy. After all there is the old saying ‘slowly, slowly catchee monkey’.
Filthy plastic screens, don’t forget. And filthy masks. And sanitiser damaging natural immunity (further). Perhaps deliberately so?
Correct. Yet again, the main story isn’t the breaking of the rules, it’s the fact that there was obviously no reason for them to have been imposed in the first place!
I am convinced this is part of the reverse psych ops to wean the sheeple off of their lockdown tit. Johnson is moving towards distancing himself from the ruinous policies of lockdown and chucking the likes of Cummings, Hancock, Hunt and Gove under a bus in the process. The prevailing criticism from the group thinkers on the left is the government did too little too late but the mood in the country is, fairly rapidly, turning to the realisation that we actually did much, much, much too much and made the whole situation worse.
Your first sentence…exactly! Made me laugh!
For what it’s worth, I agree. There has been a steady stream of articles lately suggesting that it’s time to end the nonsense. Too many to be coincidence. I have seen this pattern before when the government wants to announce something that will upset a lot of people.
Time for back benchers to step up.
Carrie must so regret having Cummings sacked. This was reported on his blog four days ago.
Will is right this has been a miserable regime but the alternative would surely be worse. Dripford in Wales is still using the psy-op of shutting sports grounds and wrecking business with insane orders.
The key point on this subject though is stay indoor orders were always anti health and anti general well-being and in spite of what that lawyer says there were plenty of get outs. I always looked at the guidance and ignored them, armed with government guidance so I am sure a government official could do the same. This site thanks to Toby was always very helpful finding us cover if ever challenged. Maybe Bunter should give his old mate a call.
Boris Johnson is the Welsh PM, not Drakeford.
The Welsh, Scot’s and Northern Irish need to impose their own will on their own little tyranny’s.
Drakeford will look utterly stupid when England play their six nations matches in a full Twickenham, whilst Wales play in an empty millennium stadium. The question is whether he is sooo stupid that he will let it happen?
The man is a demonic Tee Totaler so will stop at nothing to impose his petty personal values on decent Welshmen.
“but the alternative would surely be worse.”
“It could have been so much worse without the vaccines.”
“It could have been so much worse without Boris, Drakeford & Sturgeon.”
‘They were working to stop this lethal disease’ is the only excuse they need for breaking any rules.
The propaganda and censorship have fortified their position to such a degree that the ‘common man’ will readily excuse the leaders who have made his life unbearable; in order to self-reflexively justify his own sacrifices.
Because if there wasn’t good reason for a drinks party – then the whole narrative was a fraud, and so was the logic behind every common man’s sacrifice.
In which case, the only excuse any of us needed for organising BYOB gatherings is that we were all “working to stop this lethal disease”.
Anything any of of need do now is to cite the same thing. Going to a club or football match?
“I’m working to stop this lethal disease”.
Ah, but we don’t have personal propaganda and censorship directorates!
Elites saving the world do not have to obey the ordinary rules. More leeway is needed for super-humans.
When you’re trotted up in front of the beak for breaking the rules your own PM refuses to obey, it’s a very convincing argument.
Yet more contrived smoke and mirrors crap designed to deflect from what’s actually going on…None covid death rates amongst working age people have rocketed since the rollout of the vaccines to +40% according to insurance industry actuaries. The jabs are negatively effective, they are now facilitating infection. The figures for death’s and injuries caused by the jabs ( look at the figures since Jan 2021) are unprecedented. The figures for miscarriages in jabbed pregnant women are unprecedented. The rise in the death’s of jabbed young people is unprecedented. On and on it goes, causation/correlation? BOLLOX, these cytotoxic concoctions are designed to kill, if not immediately, over many month’s and years! A dark dark malevolance is abroad, and it means to rid the planet of you and your’s…
At the moment, I much prefer the current miserable and incompetent bunch, because the alternative is Labour and I fear that they would be considerably less incompetent.
If Boris doesn’t go now, we will have a labour government at the next election.
Who would you replace him with who might prevent a labour government at the next election?
Personally, anyone who won’t carry through NetZero or any derivative thereof.
As it is, Sunak and Truss seem to be front runners for the job. The last female they had running the country was a monumental disaster so I think Truss will fall at that hurdle.
Unless there’s someone on the rails, possibly Gove but he’s known to be a backstabber so probably not, which pretty well leaves Sunak. And although I don’t imagine he would personally play it, there is the race card. A man of colour to lead the country would shut many of the woke up, especially on the left as their alternative would be Diane Abbott.
Sunak will be The Jewel in the Crown of The British Empire.
Ouch! Looks a tad Marcus Rashford to me…
There are so many to choose from – not! However, saying that I do have an inkling about David Davis, who at least is showing some spirit in openly criticising the next stage in limiting our freedom, the so-called Online Safety Bill. We need to start taking that seriously, as it is aimed at the freedom of speech on the internet and looks like establishing Orwell’s Ministry of Truth.
Whatever happens we will have a WEF / Davos government. What colour rosette they wear makes no difference.
China and Russia are going to agree to being run by the UN……I don’t think so.
The EU one state government isn’t working too well. We buggered off, that’s not how one world governments work.
The USSR and the USA/Allies couldn’t govern Afghanistan.
America is a loose association of 50 states. Were Biden to hand over authority of DC to the UN it wouldn’t make a jot of difference to those 50 states.
Get a grip.
In my opinion (which I agree might be bollocks – it’s hard to know up from down after the past two years), the Labour and Tory party (and the Libs) have pretty much committed to…
Voting for more of it isn’t going to help.
As for China (the testbed for all this digital ID shit) and Russia (“the enemy”), all I can say is “all the world is a stage”.
I agree that the Tories are the lesser of two evils (Sir Keir will go mental on us), but either one is totally shit. Stop encouraging them!

People may be interested in reading these two papers. The 2018 is discussing mRNA vaccines in general. The later one is discussing the effects of the nano particles used in the mRNA vaccines.

I just skimmed through the 2021 paper, from which I got the impression that there are many novel ways in which different components of the stabs can harm you. This is considered therapeutic?
Strip “(last” off URL to make it work…

And yes, it’s been known for a good while that lipid nanoparticles are in themselves toxic, never mind what is concealed inside.
I wonder how many GPs tell their patients that? Or that the jab may kill or permanently disable them?
I freely admit I was breaking their ludicrous rules. But I’m not a law-maker and I would have been prosecuted if caught.
So should Johnson and his chumocracy.
Well, you’ve just confessed to breaking the rules. If I went down to the police with your confession, I’m pretty sure I’d be laughed out of the station.
The correct reaction to stupid rules is to ignore them, not to zealously apply them.
Christmas 2020, and a couple of days before the actual day, our area had a sudden total ban on households mixing. Well, balls to that, my family got together as planned. When they left about 11pm, they did so quietly to not wake (alert!) the neighbours, only to find half the street had guests all trying to sneak out the same time!
“Police say they have received 194,000 calls “snitching” on people alleged to have broken the coronavirus lockdown”
Has anyone here ever found one of these snitches?
Did you expect them to follow their rules? The “elite” were exempt from many covid measures & were given special privileges eg. international air travel.
I can’t get angry about it, simply because I’m not surprised by it. I’d be more shocked to find they weren’t hypocrites. Getting angry makes no sense because again I already know there will be no consequences for them.
Just earwigging a serious conversation about Covid Toe. Young people. LOL. Peak braindead is here.
Anyway here are two VERY IMPORTANT videos I just found. One is an advert by the NHS where they CLEARLY LIE and say the jabs are the same as all other vaccines. The other is a compilation of the liars in chief – Bojo, Whitty, Vallance – all confirming CONVID is a LOW MORTALITY NOTHING BURGER THEREFORE ALL PROCLAMATIONS ABOUT THE NEED TO LOCKDOWN ARE FALSE AND THEY KNOW IT
These vids could be useful for legal teams, I would imagine.

Not strictly connected to this article but as it was by Will I thought I’d post here.
Interesting BBC article yesterday
Covid: Fact-checking the doctor who challenged the health secretary https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/59929638
and I do still read these in an effort to see the other side.
For the first time the BBC linked to actual research and papers which in my untrained reading appear to back up slightly their claims.
It would be great to get some thoughts on these links especially by Will if anyone can oblige. Not that I think that these affect any of our arguments but it’s an interesting process to consider what the ‘other side’ may claim.
I still read things on the BBC for the same reasons. I found that article very typical of their approach. They used a few pieces of recent scientific research to try to completely discredit him. The article presented the research and resulting conclusions as fact, rather than just one assessment of the situation. The article lacked any balance and completely ignored the general arguments that he put forward. Does it really matter if he said 8 weeks or 12? Completely misses the point. Also worth considering what an article that tried to do the same for anything that any politician said would look like.
Who cares to read their “fact” check when it is clear that the jouros are not interested in checking all facts but just in selectively discrediting with outlier (or B&MG funded) studies, or by nitpicking on trivialities. I know some of what he said wasn’t accurate, for example his obsession with antibodies (which are short-lived) would have been better if he just said “immunity”, but he is clearly either more informed or braver that almost all of his colleagues or that disgrace of a health secretary.
Since the phrase “fact check” came along it has been a red flag to anyone with a brain, indicating political deception and misinformation. Lies have been successfully hidden in plain sight for many years now. This doctor has just become enemy number one, look at this headline calling him “deluded”, how dare he challenge the corrupt opinion of a corporate banker. https://inews.co.uk/news/health/covid-19-vaccine-medics-fury-over-deluded-doctor-who-questioned-sajid-javid-nhs-mandate-1391677
If they really wanted to do a fact check they could pick up on all the unquestionable lies that have come out of Savage Jabit’s mouth since he took his position.
Problem with fact checkers is we don’t know whose facts are being checked…. witness the recent Facebook revelation that their “(Facebook) fact checking” was in fact “opinion”.
Well, knock me down with a feather.
And as for BBC facts, well, pass…
If everyone had decided to accept a lanyard as their choice of safety measure, where would we be? Everyone walking around with a lanyard
My lanyard protects you and your lanyard protects me.
I wear my lanyard to protect my mates!
Wouldn’t that have been great though? And all perfectly saaafe!
Once again, the anger from MSM and most of the public is misdirected.
My mum was incensed about the 15th May episode because of the “government lies” and I took the chance to say they obviously weren’t concerned about the severity of it so why did they impose those rules on the rest of us? Could it be that perhaps the situation had been somewhat over-egged?
Her response was that MPs all have private medical insurance so if/when they got covid, they’d be all right, where as people like me would not be able to get into the hospital because of all the NHS covid patients.
I had to change the subject, I don’t see how she’s going to get out of this mindset.
My OH my. It’s like they’ll always have some new hole to dig, such is their love o ftbe servitude they find themselves in
This is the key point, and the one the thicko vaxxers and maskers still cannot get their heads around. Your betters broke all the rules because they knew they were lying to you, and there was nothing for 999/1000 people to worry about. There never was, there isn’t now. So why are you still so frightened you pathetic wankers?
^^^This^^^
Those evil Tooorrrreeeessss.
Do any of us imagine for a moment Starmer and his reprehensible mob weren’t doing the same?
Labour and indeed Starmer don’t seem like the party type. Too right on and woke for that kinda shit.
The very types to see themselves above everything.
The lesson to be drawn from this is not that Johnson and Co are hypocrites (of course they are, they’re politicians), but rather that Johnson and Co knew that they were perfectly safe from what they were telling us was deadly plague like no other.
And safe from it being reported at the time, despite brazenly sending 100 invites.
It’s almost as though they’ve kept their powder dry for when they need it….perhaps to force Johnson to keep the vaccine passport per chance?
Nah. Too many back benchers objecting to the passports. This will flush out a few more.
How many letters will Brady get this time round? If Boris doesn’t go now the next election is seriously at risk and the rest of the party knows it.
I do hope you are right. For me, the passport was always the end game/prize of this entire sham
I have often wondered about that. ID cards were supposedly planned years before being rejected.
If that’s the case, all they needed to do was resurrect part of those plans, but clearly, the vax passports were cobbled together at the last minute. They had so many problems with them they simply didn’t work early on. Nor am I convinced they are working now, for all but the most compliant.
Blair tried to get them in shortly after he came into power and the idea was resoundly rejected. Covid horse/vaxx pass is the Trojan Horse by which they’ll sneak this ID system in.
There is already no justification for using it to deny unvaccinated peeple moving around given that the vaccinated are all infecting each other anyway!
It should be dropped at once, but I’ve a feeling they will hang on to it.
I don’t think they can hang onto them. Event organisations will be screaming for their withdrawal. Fans of football and rugby etc. are doing their nut.
I’ll be very surprised if there are any meaningful restrictions come the 6 Nations. It’s monster income for the RFU and they won’t be happy with another half full Twickenham.
Nothing gets in the press unless it is sanctioned by the dictatorship
Go figure
This story is front and centre on the BBC website. Predictably.
Well, what a surprise. But he’ll get away with it of course.
I wonder how much more shit Dominic Cummings has ready to throw at the fan?
Dom threw this shit on his blog 4 days ago.
Yes. Just wondering when we get the next instalment. Could be fun.
Go to Dom’s substack account. You can sign up for regular updates from him. Mine of information.
In 15 days time the 2021 Coronavirus regs including the current face covering law all automatically expire. It is as if one aspect of these revelations is to ensure they do not renew these regs. If he announces that this law is not being renewed and the plan B restrictions are going, I think he can get out of all this on the back of the general euphoria of an end to face-coverings and a better year ahead. I think all this party business is of more concern to the media and the politicians than it really is to the general public, they will forget it tomorrow.
The bigger issue is what is he going to do about the NHS vaccine mandate? I think there is a fudge on the horizon, Novavax is now being shipped out for use in Europe, Pfizer are developing an Omicron specific vaccine, I think they can put in a delay on the NHS vaccine mandate while new vaccine technologies are investigated, if Covid fades away then so can the NHS mandate.
Steve, you are probably right. Give us back our old world (or as much as he can) and there will be enough happiness we won’t care about this (besides we have inflation, higher taxes and the coming heating crisis to focus on). Which means that once again the decisions won’t be based on science (which would have kept us out of masks and the vast majority of us living our lives) but on politics (remember those 70-80% support levels for lockdowns). I miss the simple concept of living your life based on truth. But is that so 2019 or what?
I have my doubts Boris will be around in the coming weeks. He’s already on notice that one more slip up and he’s toast. Brady had letters of no confidence in Boris with the event on the 15th May, of which no one asked the question – where are the minutes of that ‘business’ meeting, where is the agenda.
If none are available, then it was an informal gathering of work colleagues, in which case, every business could have claimed the same every Friday evening. Or every evening for that matter – We were discussing business in an informal environment.
This time it was an emailed invitation, with no mention of any business, no requests for specific individuals to attend, no agenda proposed, nothing that conforms to what would be considered a business meeting, just BYOB.
Had any of this been based on science our government would have been obliged to consult with the inventor of mRNA technology Dr. Robert Malone who has been vocal throughout.
The NHS vaccine mandate says first dose by 1 February and second by 31 March? Is there some more staging too? I’m not up on the details.
I dearly hope you are right that the mandate will fade away, but it could be that the whole shtick of sending in the army to do NHS work during “staff shortages” has been in preparation (in both logistics and propaganda) for losing staff on 1 April. There are a lot more service personnel who could be sent to work in hospitals than the few hundred who have already been sent in. They could call up reservists too.
It is even possible that sending the army into hospitals was a function of festive-season testmania, in addition to the thieving of billions of pounds directly and the conditioning of ever greater obedience in the population.
A backtracking from the attacks and humiliations meted out to the unvaccinated may be too much to hope for… For instance a removal of the requirement of 10 days of lockup for unvaccinated people (including British citizens) who enter the country from abroad may not be on the horizon.
The only places I’m aware of where there has been some backtracking from an assault on the unvaccinated are in the French Caribbean – and these weren’t brought about by Daily Telegraph-style shenanigans but by physical-force street resistance.
NHS mandate? Fuck off, when did we start having to comply with “NHS mandates”.
I predict the NHS ‘vaccine’ mandate will never be fulfilled, nor was it ever going to be. I think it always was an empty threat.
No government could live with the devastation sacking even a small percentage of NHS staff would bring. Every target they ever set would be obliterated. Backlogs of elective surgeries could never be addressed.
The political backlash would be unthinkable with only two years or so before the next general election. It’ll be bad enough as it is, but they can blame that on covid. They could never get away blaming sackings on covid, particularly when most of these staff worked through the first year with no vaccinations and little in the way of PPE.
The question of natural immunity then becomes a real problem for the government they won’t want to be made a central issue.
I have said since the SA data first became available that covid in the UK will be over by spring, all bar the shouting, and a receding memory by summer.
I love that there is a tag for “Hypocrisy.” I think that tag has been needed nearly as much as comorbidity.
We lost hours and hours of time with friends who have left the nation since the start of Covid. Time we won’ get back ever. All that despite none of them (nor us) being in a high risk category. But we followed the rules to the letter until last June (when we decided Freedom Day was finally due). This is insulting. This is disturbing (they really do believe we are ignorant serfs don’t they). But it is not surprising.
Years ago a famous writer in America said he would rather be ruled by the first 100 names out of the phone book than the faculty at Harvard. I think i’d rather be ruled by the same than the current people in the Cabinet, and of course the person at #10 and her husband.
Simon Case at Number 70 Whitehall, and formerly in the Royal Household, could eat 10 cabinet ministers for breakfast.
I like the headline more punchy … I know people think that writing to MPs don’t work, they do in so much as not allowing them to stay hiding in their ivory towers until election times. Then they row back temporarily and after the election start their miserable governing all over again!
even if it isn’t their conscience.
I am going to write today… threatening my support for lawful peaceful legal proceedings and due process against those responsible and that voters will not forget. We are growing in number.
I did it before the last vote, to a number of MPs and I think it pricks them somewhere
injecting 5 year olds with an experimental Non vaccine is unforgivable!
I bet voters will forget about their MP for a moment when they get that next huge electricity bill!
I’ll bet they won’t.
My personal contribution has been a ten page letter to mine.
“On Monday Adam Wagner, a leading lawyer and expert on Covid regulations, said: “This looks unlikely to be legal for attendees. Being outside the home was illegal at the time unless (the only potentially relevant exception) it was for the need to work.”
Perhaps they were “exercising” their forearms lifting glasses…or their fingers rolling up banknotes?
“Still, if it helps to turn the public against this miserable regime then that’s probably a good thing – though with Labour only ever outflanking the Government on the side of Chairman Mao, part of me fears what might come after.”
Labour isn’t a player. Whatever comes after Johnson if he falls, it won’t be Labour. I wouldn’t trust the Torygraph one inch. They “exposed the MPs’ expenses scandal” in 2009 for reasons which had nothing to do with upholding the rule of law or even propriety. Everybody serious had known what MPs are like for a long time. They are as crooked as local councillors, but they wear more expensive clothes and have a budget for hiring “researchers”. The reasons for the Torygraph move was something else entirely. John Bercow knows.
There once was a team called Cummings-Gove-Johnson. I haven’t got much that’s good to say about Johnson, but one thing I will say about him is that he isn’t completely and utterly Cummings’s little man. [1]
But Gove…
Note
1) I doubt Johnson is his wife’s little man either. I wouldn’t underestimate her, but it doesn’t seem likely that she’s his boss. Cummings is a right bitch…
Hmm, NutNuts is obviously the de facto PM; after all, Bozo believes in nothing except his own good and, hence, cannot possibly have instigated all the greenery, let alone the covid insanity. NutNuts should be introduced to Madame LaGuillotine, whose love of red would be a perfect match for NutNuts’ love of green.
Cometh the hour, cometh the bitch. He twisted the knife again

Don’t really care about partygate et al. But, when is Fat Pang going to start think about the critical thinkers who made their own mind up against not-really-a-vaccine, masks and stupid lockdowns, as voters?
This should keep the party running, there are 46 mutations…
UK ‘monitoring’ cases of new Covid variant with ’46 mutations’ first detected in France (msn.com)
My new line is, I’ve had it… when asked how many, I say 25 times, they say with horror! why at your age (not saying, but I can remember the war) are you not pushing up the daisies?
They’re going potty on the “46” numerology. (Joe Biden must love it
.)
Are any big medical conferences scheduled to be held in London soon, such as the one in late November that was attended by the Israeli medic Elad Maor “who was one of the first people in the world to become infected with the Omicron variant”?
“Omicron” has been out for two and a bit months. That’s less time than there is between now and 1 April when all patient-facing NHS staff who want to keep their jobs are supposed to have been double-spiked.
“Pi” is probably coming.
Listening to the public this morning expressing their anger over what was just a hypocritical breaking of their rules by the government, with no direct consequences, how angry would they be if they knew the following;
They had been told that there was no treatment for the virus which was a lie as Hydroxychloroquine was recognised by Fauci in 2005 as the best treatment for SARS-CoV-1, and that doctors in the UK were denied access to the drug by their Health Boards in early 2020 when people were getting sick [and that the Chinese were using it at the same time].
So they were told that if they became ill they should stay at home, take paracetamol, and if they couldn’t breath, call an ambulance, by which time prognosis was known to be poor.
They were told that everyone was at equal risk from the virus which was another lie known by the Government and that your chance of becoming ill depended on known comorbidities, that only affect a small minority of the population, which if acted on would have made it unnecessary to clear out hospital wards to make unneeded bed space by shipping infected patients from hospitals to care homes or to their own homes to spread the virus and/or die in huge numbers without known effective treatment.
They were told that lockdown of the whole country, masking, and social distancing were the correct policy to control a pandemic, this was another lie that Government knew as the WHO had revised its pandemic guidance in late 2019 and the policy adopted by our government and many others was completely contrary to that WHO pandemic guidance.
They wouldn’t believe a word of it. Unless the PM were to reveal it all, and more, at one explosive press conference.
This would not lead to his being lynched; he would be re-elected in a landslide.
‘You wanted straight-talking, right?… here it is, dear people’.
A brazen reversal of ALL is his only chance left.
The leaked emails confirm they knew Ivermectin, HCQ and Interferon all worked. One at least at all points in the illness. They also confirm that Fauci has been lying through his teeth
https://thepostmillennial.com/project-veritas-releases-military-documents-that-contradict-fauci-gain-of-function
This link almost certainly true given elements in the emails above, regarding how the virus was let loose in the Bat Caves. Daszak the main mover. Hanging, drawing and quartering would be too good for such filth
https://www.sciencetimes.com/articles/33581/20210922/was-covid-19-intentional-heres-what-this-chinese-whistleblower-says.htm
We sane sceptics must use this to full advantage.
A full bore covidian where I work was very upset about this.
He saw it as a case of rules for us but not for them.
I took time to explain to him that this also showed that those in the heart of government knew that the virus was not very dangerous otherwise they would have not risked infecting themselves, others, and taking a virus back home to their loved ones.
This is very obvious information that shows the whole thing has been a con.
I think my covidian colleague actually processed the meaning of this.
I’d like to hear a journalist ask any/all of the attendees, “But, were you not afraid of catching the deadly virus?”
It is all a set-up. Johnson will soon be replaced by the Trilateral Commission’s Sir Keir Starmer, and our oppression will become much closer to being ruthlessly efficient.
Psychological operations are highly choreographed, but Johnson might not have been handed his moves, much in advance.
The only option is surely the Scrubs
They obviously knew there was nothing to be afraid of, despite the messages of doom they were handing out to the peasants, along with their diktats.
The faux outrage over this is truly despicable.
But we didn’t really deserve any better. Did we?
The police are investigating this? Fuck tha police. If you house gets burgled or your car stolen, you can expect pretty much zero police hours expended in solving the crime, bringing the perpetrators to justice, or returning your property. But Britain’s beloved Bobbies will be methodically investigating the circumstances under which a dozen or so politicians and flunkies drank some pinot grigio?
If you were so stupid as to comply with “covid regulations” then you’ve got no moral justification for taking umbrage now. You were not just “part” of the problem. You are the fucking problem.
We’re in a village in rural Somerset. Lockdown never happened, and social distancing collapsed in a few days, bar the usual frit suspects. One of whom turned up at our PC meeting last night, mask in hand, and demanded the door was left open. Fuck’s sake.
Same as he’s always done, by lying, bluster and bullsh×t!!
While there’s no denying that this is hypocrisy a lot of those whingeing about this were in fact revelling in their masochistic ‘I ‘m so good for obeying all these restrictions’ smugness.
Professional people -more than able to access the internet AND read that there were indeed exemptions such as visiting their elderly widowed mother on grounds of mental health etc NOT doing so out of some twisted idea of the greater good etc.
I LOATHE these people. Loathe them. They can stick their whingeing where the sun don’t shine.
To those unable to read properly and/or prevented from doing something by a third party, such as a jobsworth council c***, you have my sympathy.
I scoured those bullshit rules for loopholes and exploited them fully. I would not look down on anyone for doing the same.
Everyone had access to the guidelines. I agree with you, however, that many in the public sector chose to manipulate those guidelines to suit themselves. After all they were on full pay. Whereas those who had to work to put food on the table and support the bloated public sector were given tiny loans which didn’t cover diddly squat or were offered 80% furlough that had to be paid back.
There has been a very big drift for a number of years to close down SMEs and grow the public sector beyond any natural sustainability. The ideology of a socialist universal credit has been in the pipeline since (again) the Blair years.
No politician has the decency to resign over wrong doing anymore. It comes from the brash and deceitful Blair years when Campbell was spin Doctor. The damage those years have done to this country is akin to Charles 1 who was beheaded.
More importantly now is not to hold this whole Parliament over their breaking the rules, but to drain this terribly fetid swamp for their last two years of gaslighting, economic destruction (to suit their own investments) and breaking the bonds and emotional health of the nation they were supposed to be leading into a better future after Brexit. They have ignored every single manifesto point they were elected on and they have been wholly supported without question by the other Political Parties.
It’s time the people of this country stopped voting for their own serfdom and started to engage with better politicians who will keep Government lean, patriotic and only meeting when absolutely necessary. ie not very often.
whilst everyone in England was under house arrest , didn’t the police standing outside & around downing street see these folks going in? Did they use blind cops ?
This may be tedious for us lot but it’s sadly what the sheeple respond to. I’ve always thought that the Spectator-like long-read articles contained on this site (excellent though they are) are the very thing that stop the fact seeping through to the public in general. The sheep want headlines and twitter entries. Sad but true.
Is the cabal throwing Boris under the bus?
Anybody fined or prosecuted during this fiasco must now be pardoned and fines rescinded.
All who attended should lose their jobs or positions.
Boris should offer a groveling apology and then piss off.
I won’t hold my breath.
Also, who would replace him. Better the devil you know, we don’t want anyone who is worse, not a covidian or lockdowner. We need a freedom lover who will leave us alone.
The problem I have is we are now finally starting to tame him. It’s not because he’s had some Damascene conversion but because he sees his political future depends on winding back the regulations. It’s all come too late for me as I’m inwardly screaming every day but at least it looks as if we are getting there.
Now it looks as if we have to punish him, quite rightly, for deciding we all had to follow rules which he blatantly did not. Even those who carried on meeting up and claimed mask exemptions still had their lives severely curtailed. We never had the memorial for my mother, friends and associates had their weddings postponed more than once. People I know attended socially distanced funerals for very close relatives and had to go their own way straight after. My daughter in law caught Covid in May 2020 as a newly rush-qualified doctor with insufficient PPE.
On and on the sacrifices go so I am effing angry and he must go in my book. But who on earth can now take this forward in the right direction when they are nearly all lock down lovers? That’s the major issue today.
So the habitual liar lies once again and people lose their sh*t! No matter that Johnson has blood on his hands, has terrorised the nation for two years and has used that fear to do anything he likes. What has taken the population so damn long to wake up to this utter bullshittery? And STILL some will back Bozo, presumably because the “opposition” in Parliament is as useful as a chocolate tea pot! Bring on Nuremberg 2 for the whole lot of them!
I think it’s the clearest indication yet that they have been lying through their teeth for almost two years. In May 2020 they were still pushing the deadly virus scenario while partying in the back garden. Can’t put that down to cognitive dissonance. ..
If the May 15th meet was a business meeting why was the then Carrie Simmons, Boris’ fiancé (not married until the end of that month) present.
She didn’t and still doesn’t have any official government role.
Where are the minutes of the meeting if it wasn’t just an unofficial chat. In which case every business in the country could been having an ‘unofficial’ meeting with drinks every night.
Good BTL comment in the Spectator…
Apologies, this is slightly off the topic of Rod Liddle’s piece; but I think it is vital that the media does not continue to ignore the most significant aspect of the government’s behaviour during spring 2020, Christmas 2020 and summer 2021.
It is totally obvious that NOBODY in government was frightened or worried about catching, passing on, suffering with or dying from C-19. If there had been a public health emergency, they would never have gone within 100 of each other – particularly the PM and senior cabinet ministers. Their security would never have been jeopardised.
Yet…..
1. The government invoked ‘emergency powers’…….a government can only do this when the nation is faced with an emergency that is ‘catastrophic’ (Cabinet Office’s own words).
2. British democracy has been suspended for nearly two years, as ‘emergency powers’ have been held four times longer than ever in our peace-time history.
3. Pursuant to this, the government voted itself access to unlimited funds of public money.
4. The nation was terrified – some people panicked and killed themselves – into compliance. The state actively, and highly unethically, orchestrated a strong campaign of fear, spending £400m on MSM advertising.
5. Hospitals were shut to all except C-19 patients and emergencies.
6. Schools were shut ruining educations and futures.
7. Businesses were shut and jobs lost everywhere……except the unproductive pen-pushers in the public sector.
8. Peoples’ freedoms were trampled on, restricted, eroded and abused. This includes the freedom to walk around with the ability to breathe normally.
9. Public money was squandered -sometimes corruptly – necessitating tax rises and shortfalls in services.
10. People have frightened, duped, cajoled and bullied into accepting a risky and untested medical treatment that they NEVER needed…….consent was obtained by duress or fraud and is therefore utterly invalid. We saw it with Hancock. We saw it with the G7. We saw it with Christmas parties. Now it emerges that at the very ‘height of the pandemic’…….there was nothing to worry about, unless you were old and/or sick. Johnson, his government, SPADS and civil servants have proved beyond all reasonable doubt that the last two years have seen the grossest misuse of power by a British government EVER. It is very clear to see that their motives were never concerned with public health, and that they are intent on attempting to reduce our freedoms even further – all on the basis of a massive, nay, monumental, fraud. Peoples’ lives have been ended, irrevocably changed, made worse and been endangered – when the government It is an unequivocal resigning matter for Johnson – indeed, the government should confess what it has done and go to the country. My only fear is that what might come afterwards would be a combination of Macron-Trudeau-Ardern.
Try playing Ricky Nelson’s “I went to a Garden Party” from the seventies and keeping a straight face….
