The Welsh Government has pledged to change the “beliefs and behaviour of the white majority” in Wales as part of an “anti-racist” action plan which aims to make all aspects of public life “inclusive”. The Telegraph has the story.
Labour’s devolved administration vowed to eradicate racism by 2030, and set out an anti-racist action plan which insists that all aspects of public life are made “inclusive”.
To meet the demands of the plan, public bodies have launched policies which include potentially destroying statues of “old white men” that have been deemed offensive, and official reports have advised creating “dog free areas” to boost inclusion.
The Labour Government has now revealed that one outcome of the plan will be a change in “the beliefs and behaviour of the white majority”.
This is stated in an updated plan released with a foreword by Eluned Morgan, the First Minister of Wales (pictured), who has reiterated her “commitment to building an inclusive and equitable society for all our black, Asian and minority ethnic people and communities”.
An explanation of the “logic” of the refreshed action plan states that the overall “vision of an anti-racist Wales” will be achieved through “shifts in knowledge, beliefs, experiences and behaviour as well systemic and cultural changes”.
It states that the outcomes of policy changes made to bring about this vision should take place at an organisational, societal and “individual” level.
The plan adds that this “includes shifts in the beliefs and behaviour of the white majority”.
Intended changes in society will be measured by the Welsh Race Disparity Evidence Unit, which will look at “whether we are seeing a reduction in any disparities”.
The plan states that this reduction in racial disparities must be pursued across all public institutions and in all areas of life, from Civil Service employment to the work of museums and art galleries.

Interesting, ideas are non religious but beliefs tend to be religiously based, so if the people of Wales are to change, will they also expect people of other religions to change when they arrive.
I concur, it appears that the white majority of Wales are to have their ideas, views, beliefs/ Religion, changed by edict over a period of 5 years, has all the hallmarks of an extermination agenda of a despot. If this eradication is to take place, how does the near compulsory teaching of the Welsh Language, a Language of the predominantly White population of Wales fit in with this agenda which is in itself is racist in the extreme..
Exactly my thoughts. I suspect the race baiters are secret insurrectionists, who in time, plan to oust the nationalists, and destroy the Welsh language, or subvert it in some manner.
Katie Hopkins was a big critic of the Welsh language, she’s not exactly a race baiter and I tend to agree with her only because Welsh is mostly used in North and West Wales and most also speak English anyway. A guy I met from the West of Wales said he didn’t start English until he was seven, but he would be around sixty now and most kids learn both languages early. It should be left to those with a hobby and not compulsory when you consider their workload is already burdened by Gender studies etc.

My grandson attends a school, where lessons are in Welsh. His parents want him to be bilingual. I suspect as more outsiders (English and others), move into Wales, so the threat to the Welsh language will become greater. But as you say, there are hotspots where the language thrives.

Exactly. They will be in for a surprise when they became the victims. But we have seen evidence of this sort of thing happening elsewhere. I believe there is a town in America, who welcomed in a group of folk, who eventually took over the council, and banned the displaying of the gay flag (I need to double check this). But there are other examples from history.

So SO fed up with this. The vast majority of the UK is not racist! Spend your time and money on things that matter! And, yes, there’s a white majority, and yes our culture has certain traditions, eg Nativity plays, and so yes we will complain if a primary school bans any mention of Christmas to be more ‘inclusive’, JUST AS in Muslim countries people would soon complain if any mention of Islam was banned ‘to be more inclusive’. If only these politicians could realise that most of the country is heartily sick of this, and I’ll warrant that that ‘most’ I referred to even – shock horror – includes many thousands of people with brown skin!!

It’s instructive to compare the image above with the one attached to this comment. Our so-called “democracy” works such that the political weight of the population in some area is roughly proportional to how densly they’re packed there. Politically, Labour controls a few urban areas which supply it with a “mandate” (or so we’re supposed to believe) to ride roughshod over all the non-urban areas, despite these make up the majority of the country.
Plaid Cymru are even more far left than Labour.
