Labour Councillor Filmed Calling for Far-Right Rioters’ Throats to be Cut is Charged

by Will Jones
9 August 2024 5:20 PM

A (now former) Labour councillor who was filmed telling a crowd in London on Wednesday that far-Right rioters are “disgusting” and should have their throats cut has been charged with encouraging violent disorder. The Telegraph has more.

Ricky Jones, 57, was arrested on Thursday and is expected to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.

Jaswant Narwal, Chief Crown Prosecutor for north London, said: “Jones was filmed addressing a crowd in Walthamstow on Wednesday August 7th during which he appeared to make remarks and a gesture to encourage others to act violently towards far-Right protesters.”

Jones was filmed saying far-Right rioters are “disgusting” and should have their throats cut.

Ricky Jones, a councillor for Princes, in Dartford, was seen on video footage telling anti-racism protesters in Walthamstow, north-east London: “We need to cut all their throats.”

The Labour Party said his behaviour was “completely unacceptable” and he had been suspended. He was also arrested on suspicion of encouraging murder.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed his arrest on Thursday in a post on X, formerly Twitter, which included the original footage of Mr. Jones addressing protesters.

The post said that a man aged in his 50s had been arrested at an address in south east London and “was held on suspicion of encouraging murder and for an offence under the Public Order Act.”

Scotland Yard said Mr. Jones, a paid organiser with the Transport Salaried Staffs’ Association (TSSA) union, was being held in custody at a south London police station.

Before his arrest, the 57-year-old had been suspended from the Labour Party, meaning he will no longer sit as a Labour councillor.

A Labour spokesman said: “This behaviour is completely unacceptable, and it will not be tolerated. The councillor has been suspended from the party.”

A TSSA spokesman said: “TSSA remains steadfast in supporting communities that peacefully stand against fascist aggression. We unequivocally do not condone any threats or acts of violence, as these actions are contrary to our values.”

The union did not say whether any action would be taken against Mr. Jones.

His words seemed to please the crowd.

Worth reading in full.

In Leeds, two Asian men have been jailed for attacking a group of four white men, one of whom was draped in a Union flag and wearing a Union flag mask.

In Northamptonshire, a 26 year-old man has been jailed for three years and two months after stirring up racial hatred by using social media to call for hotels housing asylum seekers to be set alight, telling commenters it was “100% the plan”.

This elected official should have been charged with “Encouraging Mass Murder”, as he was arrested by police on “suspicion of incitement to murder”.

But strangely, the Sikh woman Jaswant Narwal, Chief Crown Prosecutor for North London, did not charge him with Incitement to Mass Murder, or “Encouraging Mass Murder”, but only with “Encouragement of Violent Disorder”, as if urging people to slit the throats of thousands of British Patriots were equivalent to urging people to throw bricks, presumably so that it can be widely applied to social media, and give him a more lenient prison sentence.

I’m surprised Starmer still allows the Daleks to scream E-X-T-E-R-M-I-N-A-T-E.

Fascinating who decides what encouragement of violent disorder means. The Uk has stepped into a dystopian nightmare just like the conspiracy theorists predicted. Please add this to your bingo card.

You can get live updates if you just click on the link to Sky News below. Nothing on the Labour councillor yet;

”BREAKING: Sameer Ali, 21, has been sentenced to 20 months in prison and Adnan Ghafoor, 31, has been sentenced to two and a half years in prison for their involvement in a fight in Leeds city centre during riots.”

https://x.com/SkyNews/status/1821881634104246737

They’re busy, with many more still to come;

”Nearly 600 arrests have been made in relation to the violence and disorder seen across the country in recent days, a policing body has said.
Gavin Stephens, chair of the National Police Chiefs’ Council, said more than 150 had been charged with “more to come”.
He told reporters tomorrow would be “one of the strongest national policing responses that we’ve ever done”.
“We’ve got a busy weekend with sporting fixtures, big community events and so on,” he added.
“The investigations really are only just ramping up.”
Mr Stephens said it was “inevitable” that disorder-related arrests would carry on for “months”.
“It could be months down the track – it won’t stop us dealing with it when we get it,” he said.
“They’ll still end up getting investigated and arrested.”

OK then why bother with the investigation? You’ve already decided to arrest them. Two tier justice.

Seems he’s been remanded then;

”A suspended Labour councillor has been remanded in custody after being charged with encouraging violent disorder.
Ricky Jones, 57, was filmed addressing a crowd at a London demonstration on Wednesday evening, during which he “appeared to make remarks and a gesture to encourage others to act violently towards far-right protestors”, the Crown Prosecution Service said.

He appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today wearing a Hugo Boss t-shirt. He entered no plea.
Deputy senior district judge Tan Ikram said: “It is alleged that using a microphone you addressed a crowd at an anti-fascist protest and, talking about others you described as ‘disgusting Nazi fascists’, you said ‘we need to cut their throats and get rid of them’.”
He was remanded in custody and will next appear at Inner London Crown Court on 6 September.”

Somebody else who needs to be arrested, charged with inciting violence. It was also his organization that started the false rumour that there were going to be loads of far-right demos taking place in one day, including in Birmingham, which galvanized all the Muslims to take up arms then go off hunting in packs, but lo and behold no ‘far right thugs’, or any protestors for that matter, showed up. Epic shit-stirrer extraordinaire, seems he gets a free pass;

”If you post the right kind of misinformation, you can just apologise and move on.”

I’ve thought about it a lot but it’s the worry about leaving my family behind. I don’t think they would emigrate. I hate this country now after what successive governments have done to it. It’s not home anymore.

It wouldn’t be any of the five eyes countries, that’s for certain. Saying that, probably doomed wherever I considered. Nowhere is safe now as most countries subscribe to the WEF and WHO tyrannical policies and aspirations. Pretty depressing isn’t it?

It certainly is,and I agree with your analysis, but at least the weather in Northland NZ is about as good as you can get..
The Winterless North, not too hot either..
I’m in Cornwall, the summer has been poor, and I’m about to endure yet another Cornish winter……
Now that is depressing

I think we have to go with passive resistance rather than revolution. This is because the madleft claim moral superiority by laying claim to the discourse on racialism – even though madleft anti-racism is anti-whitism in disguise. Our immediate tasks are to resist the anti-white state, and at the same time build pro-white administrative structures that bypass the anti-white state. Not easy, but not impossible. For this we’re going to need everyone – you included.

Has the King just demolished an epic strawman? To read his congratulations it seems that the almost complete absence of widespread rioting is taken as a successful operation by the police, or that locking up a tumbling wheelie-bin grannie and a couple of white hooligans is evidence that civil war or a major uprising by “organised far-right thuggery” has been narrowly averted by the “overwhelming majority of virtuous refugee-welcomers”. Even if a mouthy councillor gets a slap on the wrist “to show balance” the overwhelming impression is that 2TK is quickly going to become Starmer’s sobriquet.

As Steven Tucker points out: if I hang a big banner from my window saying ‘Vikings Not Welcome Here!’ and then no Vikings do actually come, can I really take any true credit for the fact?
Can Sir Mark Rowley claim credit from the King for the marked absence of Vikings on my front lawn this morning? Will he be charged with criminal damage to a microphone?

Meanwhile back at the ranch, where all the feral kids with machetes and knives stab each other, the gov’t is arresting people who said “something”. Yes, it is hard to believe. Did this gentleman actually physically harm anyone. The world is watching the Uk dissolve into a dystopian nightmare. Wake up everyone. This will not end well.

No one on the Far Left demonstrations recently has been prosecuted for their threatening abusive and insulting behaviours including what was on their banners posters and T shirts and what they screamed as abuse against ordinary people concerned about out of control immigration.

The Labour Councillor is not dealt with within a week. Why is that?

They have taken him off the streets so he is out of sight – remanded in custody until September supposedly because the judge thought he would do more of the same.

In other words, Starmer’s Stasi Courts making sure Starmer cannot be embarrassed by his Far Left goon again.

Why remand him in custody?

Why not deal with him in seven days like all the other dangerous people?

Why not charged with incitement to violence?

All very very strange.

Or maybe not strange under Starmer’s Stasi?

Violent disorder?

Throat-cutting is at best grevious bodily harm or worst, murder.

The thugs who punched policemen and policewoman (breaking her nose) still have not been charged with any crime. The authorities are ‘working on it’.

Two tier policing? Two tier justice? No of course not.
