Following the New Year's Day earthquake in Japan, people have been taking refuge in a centre where, because of Covid, they are made to sleep in a mask with the doors open. In winter. Elderly people. To "reduce risk".
There's been a big push to insulate old homes to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. But is this causing harm to health as humidity rises in homes not designed to be insulated?
It was only on April 30th this year that the WHO finally updated its website to indicate that COVID can be transmitted via airborne particles. Had this happened sooner, our response might have looked rather different.
