Government Has Just Declared War on Free Speech

Revelations that Labour leader Keir Starmer previously represented the extreme Islamist group Hizb ut-Tahrir in a failed legal challenge against Germany's ban have raised concerns about his approach to extremist groups.
The Danish Government has proposed a ban on setting the Quran alight in public citing national security concerns, prompting fears of a return of blasphemy laws to Europe to appease violent Muslims.
The writer Salman Rushdie was stabbed earlier today while speaking on stage at an event in Buffalo, New York. He was air-lifted to hospital where his condition is unknown.
