What We Have Lost
2 October 2024
Climate change is being driven by a change in the orientation of the Earth to the Sun rather than carbon dioxide emissions, new analysis of data from Berkeley Earth shows.
The Daily Mail ran a story about the "shocking" melting of the Greenland ice sheet during the "global boiling" in July. But in fact the ice sheet is currently larger than normal.
We're bombarded by news of Arctic ice melting at an alarming rate and the world being on fire, but the data tell a very different story, says Chris Morrison.
Climate alarmists never stop pointing to the rise in temperatures across Greenland. But almost all the warming occurred in 1994, nearly 30 years ago, according to new evidence. Human-caused CO2 has nowt to do with it.
Whisper it quietly, but the Greenland ice sheet may have made a net gain in size in the year to August 2022 after another year of massive winter gains and a short summer of ice loss.
In a major challenge to climate alarmism, climate scientists have shown that Greenland ice has recovered since 2012 and the earlier loss was due to “natural variability" not human CO2 emissions.
Arctic sea ice has increased since 2012 and is now close to the average for 1991-2000 – another inconvenient fact for climate change alarmists, alongside thriving polar bears and more coral on the Great Barrier Reef.
