I am hereby proposing that a special Lockdown tax be imposed on anyone who favours continued restrictions on our freedoms. This could range from 60% of income to 80% or more. The extra revenue (collected through P.A.Y.E.) would be used to fund some of the schemes which will be needed to alleviate the affects of lockdowns and other restrictions. It would only be imposed on those who tick the "I favour continued anti Covid restrictions" box on the relevant form. 😈

Every celebrity who went on TV supporting it.

Yep. either that or a curb on expenses. A friend of mine a couple of counties away, Labour MP claimed something like £85k expenses last year. Mine (also Lab) claimed a little under £200k. During a year which was spent in a county largely under severe restrictions.
