It seems to me that Omicron has shown us starkly how this crisis will end. The sudden emergence of a super mild variant with the transmissibility of the common cold, has taken policy setters completely by surprise, but at street level, nobody is remotely scared of a virus that gives you, at worst a snotty nose and a sore throat. As Omicron takes charge and becomes endemic, no amount of fear mongering has been enough to dispel the general mood of 'so what?' which is how most people feel, and so the CoronaVirus crisis will now surely dissipate in a flood of apathy.
And It will not be replaced in our fears by the Great Reset, since much more pressing matters than that are afoot, in the new year , the world's attention will switch to happenings in the Ukraine. America and its lapdog, the UK is keen to integrate White Russia into the EU so that it forms a bulwark between Russia and the West, Russia will not let that occur, no way no how. So next summer will be dominated by a showdown between Russia and NATO, which Russia could win since it holds the strong card. Without Russian energy, the West in Europe is finished. Perhaps it suits the UK's interests to let the EU fail, and allow Russia to retain the Ukraine, they already have Crimea.Russia remains the largest country in the world because they put themselves first, as we should.Should we help stop the EU's eastward expansion? I think we should if it prevents world war 3.
With Corona Virus rapidly fading as an issue, we in the UK should be asking, do we prefer the EU or Russia. What would be better for us? If we like our nice warm gas central heating, I suggest Russia is our best bet. And if we prefer the cold semi-democratic austerity of Greta Thunberg and the great reset , we should cleave to the West. So we are fast approaching a make-you-mind-up moment. If we back Putin, we scupper the Gretas and the EU at the same time…. this part of the puzzle has the potential to start world war 3 and destroy all the assumptions we have ever made about the modern post war world.
