Excellent NHS funded preprint on vaccine waning and efficacy out this week for all to see.

TLDR;

Astrazenica produces 9x fewer Spike neutralising antibodies than Pfizer.

Both wane at the same rate which means AZ becomes ineffective far sooner than Pfizer (roughly 96 days vs 220 days for VE to drop below 50% against infection).

 

Relative risk of infection AZ v Pfizer was 1.7.

 

It just further proves the point that quoting a specific VE is fairly worthless unless you include the time post vaccination as well.

All of these studies depend hugely on the interval after dose.

The only video that could align with your posts would be one of a dark room, accompanied by white noise and which lasted a long long time.

Conveys no information and is annoying.
