It's amazing, we've spent years here seeing how the government has lied about everything related to covid, and yet now we have a traditional problem, a squabble between two almost identical tribes of Russians, and we have the traditional US/UK government response, an off the cuff narrative to paint one of the sides as an evil monster and the other as a reformed, model world citizen. And the off the cuff narrative is propped up by torrent of government propaganda and lies spread through the approved news channels (CNN/BBC/ The Guardian….), and here we are on the skeptics site, with half of the skeptics lapping it all up.
Just think it through guys , why would a government and opposition that have spent the last two years lying about absolutely everything suddenly start telling the truth about Putin, Ukraine or Russia. Let's hear some skepticism, from you people, do you really think a gang of housewives throwing molotov cocktail's could see off 6 Russian divisions in Kharkiv? yeah right...pull the other one it's got bells on it!
Here's some scepticism for you. Is it coincidence that, the very moment the covid19 emergency subsides, and people thought they could relax a bit and leave the masks at home , then up rears the threat of total nuclear annihilation in Europe? We must presume that next week, if we are still alive, we will get advance warning of a rogue asteroid that is coming straight at us...

I haven't suddenly become a Russiophile but have settled on an attitude of 'soddit, let them get on with it...'
I think you will find plenty of scepticism BTL on this evening's article on the ? surrender of the Ukrainian fighters.
