How many British MPs have said they haven't been vaccinated?

Have any MPs said they're unvaccinated? The proportion of adults in Britain who are unvaccinated is reported to be about 5-6%. If the same rate applied among MPs, there would be between 30 and 42 of them.

Any names?

It'd be nice to think we had some representation in the body that supposedly makes the laws and holds the executive to account.

Some might say (and rightly so) that it’s none of your business, and tell you to go away. It’s a private health matter - in which case they should oppose any notion of issuing health passports or any similar junk. Of course, those who are prepared to declare their choice not to use it should follow the same route.

Whether or not MPs act in their own lives in accordance with how they vote in the national assembly is certainly the population's business. Nobody made them stand for representative office.

My suspicion is that probably about 30 or 40 of them have enough sense not to get vaccinated. My fear is that none of that number have the guts to do anything other than look the other way as the authorities make life increasingly difficult for most of the rest of the unvaccinated.

There is such a thing as public health. It's just that the authorities are wrecking it.

If any MPs have said that they are refusing vaccination, a big thumbs up to them whichever party they belong to.

Is far as I am aware there are no MPs who are outspoken anti-vaxxers, so you are looking in the wrong place for support for your views.

It's quite unlikely that MPs would be a representative sample of UK adults.

Few MPs would willingly  associate themselves with a basket of deplorables.

@thinksaboutit - What a cheapo technique, assimilating "on-the-record unvaccinated" with "outspoken anti-vaxxer".

You don't know of any MPs who've said they're unvaccinated. Fine.

MPs would be extremely unrepresentative of British adults (please don't call us all monarchy adults) if they were 650-0 vaccinated - so extremely unrepresentative as for that to be extremely unlikely. But wait, a person who somewhat incongruously calls himself "thinksaboutit" (a case of protesting too much?) says in effect that he doesn't know any reason not to assume it's 650-0...yawn.

Were an MP to be unvaccinated and chose to speak about it, then they should consider the impact that their voice might have on others. They would realise such a statement would be encouraging others to avoid vaccination.

That would be anti-vaxx behaviour.

@thinksaboutit indeedc it would though several irresponsible cretins  would still rant and rave. according to them, only ivermectin can work, all other compounds or measures are part of the great plot against them.I think they exaggerate their own importance.

I recollect hearing Sir Charles Walker declaring that he was needle-phobic and so was waiting for a sort of nose spray version of the vaccine.

That's the only one I have heard of so far, and that was a while ago so he may have capitulated in the meantime. He is not particularly active on Twitter but he may keep a blog where he would comment further.

Like you, I'd be interested to know since our representatives on the whole find it quite reasonable that the rest of us should ensure intrusions into our lives and that they should retain powers to impose them.

TBH I don't care and nor should you. It distracts from the main issue.

We need to rise above those who would normalise the demanding of anyones health information.

Besides we already know MP's are exempt from any obedience passport requirements.

Push your reasoning and what the MP's publish they are all vaxxed and so now everyone else should be? NO!

It's private and thats how it should stay. Gov are utilising Divide and Rule tactics and so many are falling for it.

@jockcovidiot - On the contrary, my thought process ran like this:

* it's probable that some MPs are unvaccinated

* it's possible that none have said so

* if some are unvaccinated and none have said so, then it's probably pressure from party whips that has made them keep shtum, and they should be encouraged to speak out.

As an unvaccinated person - a member of the ~5% - I would like some representation in the Commons.

I totally understand your reasoning bit IMHO it is counterproductive to the cause.

No MP will admit to being unvaxxed for any other reason the medical exemption - to do so would be political suicide. They are all in on vaxxes because they know thats what the masses want to hear. Even the rebels start every speech against the covid scam by saying how "amazing our world beating vaccination programme is".

As above they won't speak out but not because of party whips per se but because they don't actually care about you being represented LOL. They want to be on the "winning" side ie with the majority and unfortunately for us the majority of UK PLC is brainwashed into believing this jab is our only hope and that the  unvaxxed are disease spreading vermin!

Remember these people clapped for heroes and who wore the rainbow badges are now the same people happy to vote to sack said heroes for daring to choose not to be injected with eperimental shit they don't want/need.

You are under a mistaken belief that we are living in a democracy. We do not. If you think thats conspiracy then I say to you look at the rigged vote in the welsh parliament regards the vaxx passes. These people are following a script/plan and your views matter fuck all. You will submit or you will be castigated and expelled/excluded from society.

The way we win is to NOT PLAY THEIR GAME. Don't normalise the shit they want to normalise. Don't comply and always remind people of life pre-covid it's amazing how quickly people forget what life was like and that is how they get people to accept the NEW NORMAL.

If you want to ensure your opinion is ignored by the vast majority of people, just keep writing stuff like this.

Why should any of them have to say?

Its confidential medical information.

That said, every single one of them in favour of vaccine passports should be made to state it in public as thats literally what they're demanding of everyone else.
