https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c9d8p0l29pxo Another relocation move out of London. Not new in the Civil Service, of course. Some might like it, some might say no. Reminds me of a manager I worked for in London decades ago, when I worked for part of British Rail. There was a major move to Birmingham, and some of them wouldn’t move, so they created another group that stayed in Westminster to avoid sacking them.

The point of this is to “create jobs” Up North so Andy Capp can be a hero to his people and bring that economic regeneration he has promised.

The Tories did the same in the 1980s in areas where the old State-run industries were no more following rationalisation and privatisation.

Dare I admit that the old nationalized industries, especially basic necessities like water, transport and energy supplies, were the most sensible and beneficial to the British People, in my view? Privatization of all these things, ostensibly to “break monopolies” and offer “consumer choice”, “lower prices” and “greater efficiency” was, in fact, a stealthy Asset-Stripping of Britain, and led to foreign companies owning everything, and caring nothing about the public consumers.

And the “Right to Buy” council houses were a huge mistake, leading only to mortgages for people who couldn’t afford them, and ended up owned by wealthy private landlords who were often foreigners ruthlessly milking the system … which then led to a calamitous shortage of affordable council housing.

It sometimes seems as though all our governments have been disastrous for the common man.

The charging of the suspect in Ann Widdecombe’s murder was off the front pages almost as soon as it went up. For some reason we’re not supposed to be interested, but I’m interested because the media somehow know we’re not supposed to be interested.

This is a brilliant, powerful article by Spiff. He’s right. It’s like the government installing a Swarm of Termites to eat up your house, ban your national flag, ogle your daughter, and replace your son on the local football team, while assuring you that they “share your values”, and throwing you into prison if you object.

I lost him when he starts making comparisons with the Chinese. Any fool should know that the Chinese are not a single ethnicity and there are huge differences in culture and the way different groups are treated.

There’s no worse choice for Foreign Secretary than Ed Miliband

Yes, and there’s no worse choice for Home Secretary than Pakistani Muslim Extremist, Fanatical-Gaza-Activist-Lying-Down-on-the-floor-in-Sainsburys, Wannabe Illegal Muslim Prime Minister with a Skeletal Smile Shabana Mahmood.

“In the Spectator, Andrew Gilligan warns that Andy Burnham’s pledge to be “for all of us” will ring hollow if he hires a man who called 9/11 a “false flag”, which he’s minded to do.”

Does this mean that the author of this synopsis believes the Official 9/11 Commission’s version of events? Because there are some rather large problems with it, which have been completely ignored. Like the JFK assassination, we will never know exactly what happened that day or why.

UK police admit “no evidence” for charges over supposed far-right plot

Of course there’s no evidence because there was never a plot, no doubt the woke police leaped to the conclusion there was a far-right plot to target Muslims because of a small number of posts on social media.

“Burnham cannot allow Ali Milani near power” – In the Spectator, Andrew Gilligan warns that Andy Burnham’s pledge to be “for all of us” will ring hollow if he hires a man who called 9/11 a “false flag”, which he’s minded to do.

Except there is heaps of evidence that 9/11 was precisely that, a false flag…

‘Heaps’ of credible evidence is really what is required.

Do you have any?

Given his own, apparent, relationship with the Chinese, it’s a bit rich of Miliband to accuse anyone of a ‘peculiar’ relationship with Russia…

Breitbart report on the 13 arrested for far-right terrorism. Still no report on the MSM for the non-criminal activity of the 13 in monitoring a large gathering of Muslims. I note that Zia Yusef of Reform has called for Mahmoud to resign for misleading the house (by saying the arrests undoubtedly saved lives). He is living in dreamland as, unfortunately, no one resigns for lying anymore; it’s just business as usual, everyday gaslighting.

You are a newly minted PM. In your very first speech, you state how the best interests of the country must come first, country over party, no more infighting. You have two candidates for Defence Secretary:

1 Born in Nottingham in 1972, attended Aberystwyth University and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. During a 14-year military career, deployed to Kosovo, Northern Ireland, Sierra Leone, Iraq, and Afghanistan, rising to the rank of Major and receiving an MBE. In 2011, resigned army commission to successfully contest the Barnsley Central by-election, becoming the first serving Army officer to do so since World War II.
2 Read history at Cambridge, president Cambridge Students’ Union 2004/2005, president of the National Union of Students 2008/2010. Worked for ‘Progress’. 2010 elected to Redbridge London Borough Council, deputy leader of the council 2014. Elected as MP for Ilford North 2015. Shadow Exchequer Secretary April 2020. Shadow Minister for Schools Oct 2020, Shadow Secretary of State for Child Poverty May 2021, November 2021 Shadow Secretary of State for Health and Social Care until July 2024, then Secretary of State for Health and Social Care.

So you pick the second candidate, obviously…party over country…plus ca change…

Well done…not…
