Andrew Bridgen has been expelled from the Conservative Party after raising concerns about coronavirus vaccine harms.
Mr. Bridgen was stripped of the Tory whip and forced to sit as an independent MP in January after tweeting that the Covid vaccines were the “biggest crime against humanity since the Holocaust”, a statement he attributed to an unnamed cardiologist and endorsed.

A Conservative Party spokesman confirmed Wednesday afternoon that Mr. Bridgen has now been formally kicked out of the party, the Telegraph reports. The spokesman said:
Mr. Bridgen was expelled from the Conservative Party on April 12th following the recommendation of a disciplinary panel. He has 28 days from this date to appeal.
Bridgen said in a statement:
My expulsion from the Conservative Party under false pretences only confirms the toxic culture which plagues our political system.
Above all else this is an issue of freedom of speech. No elected Member of Parliament should ever be penalised for speaking on behalf of their constituents and those who have no such voice or platform.
As a vocal critic of the vaccine rollout amongst other issues such as Net Zero, illegal immigration and political corruption the Party has been sure to make an example of me.
I am grateful for my newfound freedom and will continue to fight for justice, speech, and liberty. I will continue to serve my constituents as I was elected to do and intend to stand again at the next election.
Bridgen has been an outspoken critic of the Covid vaccines and more recently of the WHO proposals for a new treaty and international rules for pandemics that will make the organisation’s decisions legally binding on member states, repeatedly bringing to the attention of MPs and Government ministers the many concerns raised by experts and constituents about these interventions. You don’t have to agree with everything he says or the way he expresses it to recognise the importance of voices like his in raising uncomfortable points on matters of public concern. This outcome is most unfair to Mr. Bridgen, who has courageously spoken against the grain on the new public health orthodoxy, and a poor reflection of the current state of the Conservative Party. It risks chilling the debate on the Covid vaccines and other contested areas where public feeling runs high and the governing party is heavily invested in one particular approach.
The Daily Sceptic has run articles defending Mr. Bridgen from absurd allegations of anti-Semitism. We have also published articles by experts defending the claims he made in Parliament about the Covid vaccines. A person should not have to be proven correct on every point for the value of his contributions to public debate to be recognised. This outcome is deeply regrettable.

Profanity and abuse will be removed and may lead to a permanent ban.
Andrew Bridgen is a hero. He just won’t be shut up. Clearly has guts, a spine and the moral fibre to do what is RIGHT.
The Tory party is shooting the messenger.
Better get ready for a Labour government, people… not sure how that could be worse, but it will be.
Correct. I had my heart set on voting Reform UK next general election. And I would normally also vote for the party whose policies I most believed in, allowing for there being a candidate in my constituency, and not voting tactfully. Next year, however, Labour securing a victory would represent the worst disaster I can imagine for this country, so I’m now torn between Reform, and voting Tory to help try to prevent the lunatic Starmer from destroying British civilization in the name of “the greater good” and “Net zero-sanity”! Can you imagine a pandemic response under a Labour government?!
The so-called “Conservatives” have been in power since Cameron. They have had multiple chances to show that they are conservative, including a huge majority. They muffed Brexit, they were a disgrace during covid, they staged a coup to remove Truss, they are continuing with net zero madness, signing WHO pandemic treaty, waging war on Russia, mass immigration continues apace, free speech under threat from Online Harms bill. They deserve to be utterly destroyed and replaced by some actual conservatives. Labour will be short to medium term pain for eventual gain. If there is no eventual gain then we are screwed anyway.
Reform are pro-vax and have said they would not welcome Bridgen. They do not deserve the sceptic vote. Heritage or Reclaim or Freedom Alliance or spoil ballot paper.
Great analysis of the Tories. Tice has done an about face on the vaccines trying to pretend he was always against the mandates.
A very interesting tweet. I assume Reform are about to welcome Andrew Bridgen as their first MP.
Tice ought to stand up and say he was completely wrong to advocate mandatory jabs for care workers. Nothing less will do.
Hear hear TOF. I fear we are well and truly screwed
….or UKIP?
I don’t recall UKIP denouncing lockdowns from the start, though they now seem supportive of Bridgen which is positive.
Civilisation has already been mortally wounded by the Uniparty. A Labour victory would just be the coup de grace. Vote with your beliefs, or you’ll not be allowed to have them.
Mr Tri Lateral himself ! Starmer is a Traitor !!!…
+ Sunak promises lots more plane loads of Sudanese refugees ! Wonder where they are going to end up ! Answers on a post card !!!…
I always vote according to who I want to win, never tactically. If more people voted honestly, tactical voting wouldn’t be a thing.
Not a fag paper to put between Labour and the the Tories. They both have exactly the same handlers.
Set in stone I’m afraid ! & they all know , it’s a sort of cross party decision, the final killer harpoon into the UK,s dying carcass !!..
Andrew Bridgen is a giant amongst the snivelling pygmies who occupy Westminster.
As Will Jones points out he has been expelled simply for doing his job and more importantly standing up for what he knows to be right.
If ever a political party was to deserve its destruction surely this moment is it for the Conservative party. It is now a ghastly, hollowed-out relic of a formerly, vaguely honourable institution, which infects this country as badly as one of their manufactured viruses. Run from Switzerland or God knows where by faceless, transhumanist wannabees who willingly pull the strings of venal, corrupt and self-serving drones like Fishy and Chunt they have managed to proclaim to the world their total adherence to a globalist agenda (2030) designed to utterly destroy this country from within and without a shred of regard for those who will die in the process.
The treatment of Andrew Bridgen sums up in its entirety the journey to hell on which the Conservative Party is taking this country.
The Conservative Party: anti freedom, anti British, anti life.
Speaks volumes doesn’t it? If ever there were definitive proof democracy is dead this is the cherry on the cake. What sort of people are going to vote Conservative in future, especially as we’ve seen the dire performance of Labour also? Just don’t vote in future, I wouldn’t. With all the WEF penetration going on it clearly doesn’t make a blind bit of difference anyway. It’s all a done deal. Corruption off the charts. And that sick POS Hancockwomble is still there..
A lot of them will turn out to vote Conservative or indeed Labour, because they listen to the BBC and the MSM, they are lazy and willfully ignorant, they don’t agree necessarily with policies etc, but they do it because they always have.
Spot on Mogs. WEF penetration indeed.
Thank you very much.
Fantastic post hp…
Many thanks.
The Conservative government has hijacked the party from its members. The government has become an extension of the Gates Foundation and the WEF. MPs like Andrew Bridgen (and there are many others) working with the members could save the party. We need to deselect corruption out of the party.
Well said. Bridgen’s expulsion is a desperate attempt by his former party to avoid apologising for the chaos they’ve caused since March 2020. Bar stewards, the lot of them.
Much appreciated.
The absolute bastards! He’s obviously not up to par in the corruption department. You need to be a proper psychopath and/or a coward to be a politician, clearly. But I don’t get it. If he was expelled 12th April why we just hearing about it now?
Trusted News Initiative
If the MSM report on it they have to mention why… if they mention why they run the risk of people asking more questions. His constituents had to find out that he was no longer a member of the party so the MSM can’t keep ignoring it. So they just brand him an anti-semite instead.
But why did Andrew not share this on his Twitter back on the 12th? It should surely be coming from him, this news, should it not?
Yes, but if hardly anyone will report on it he can tweet as much as he likes and still be ignored.
From John1T’s post above, I wonder whether it is because he has been in negotiations with Richard Tice. We’ll see.
Because he had a mutual confidentiality agreement with the party during the appeal period of 28 days but the party leaked the news today in breach of the agreement, from what I understand from the interview with Andrew on GB News.
I should have read downwards first!
That sounds distinctly plausible.
We come back to Mogwai’s comment:
Absolute Bastards.
He said it was supposed to be kept confidential, not disclosed.
something to do with his appeal within 28days.
Claim that a person with a Penis is a woman, and therfore she cannot commit rape, no problem. Declare that Children below 18 should be able to change gender, undergo drug and surgeries to change their sexual appearance, no problem. Give away sovereignty to an unelected body ran by Bill Gates and China go right ahead. Teach 5 year olds they can self pleasure sexually at school, have men with fetishes to dress up as women and tell stories to preschoolers, absolutely right anc correct.
But have an individual report the facts as demonstrated in Governments own stats that the mandated injection is killing and injuring more than any vaccines put together in the past 30 years, have a man advocate for his constituents who have been injured! Absolutely disgraceful, he must be pushed away, shut up, and probably ruined, because to do otherwise implicates every single politician in the house regardless of party, and exposes the liars and sham artists they are, just on the payroll of Pharma and its investors.
A plague on all their houses, every last one of them who supported the Covid regime, the forced injections, the othering, the passports, they will never know peace or pleasure again until they come clean.
Bridgen I hope will live to see the day that these selfish, cowards are brought down.
Hear, hear.
Great post.
I’m a firm believer that our misdeeds ultimately torment us. And the reverse as well, doing the right thing in spite of the consequences does great things for the soul.
So in that respect, I feel quite certain that everyone in this sordid saga will get what is due to them.
Thank you
What a post! Sums it up nicely for me Hester, I may borrow and share if you don’t mind.
Hear hear
The BBC article about this topic is here:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-65402195
It wrongly attributes the incriminated quote to Bridgen himself twice, claims that
the overwhelming weight of evidence, from a number of different independent teams of researchers […] found [that] the benefits [of the Covaxxes] far outweighed any known harms.
— I guess this must be the reason why vaccination of people below 50 was suspended —
and closes with a completely irrelevant mentioning of a disciplinary sentence against Bridgen in 2022 because he wrote to ministers on behalf of a company located in his constituency which sponsored a trip of him to Ghana to visit a company plantation in 2019.
A fine performance for a supposedly impartial news service.
Cxxxs
I don’t suppose he will care – after all, he could have appealed had he so wished.
Good for him – I hope his constituency appreciate what a sterling character they have in their MP, and keep him in place.
I’m tempted to email my own useless fathead of a representative to advise him that as a result of his boneheaded reply to my support of Andrew Bridgen, I have now delivered almost 1000 flyers urging my local area to vote for an Independent candidate in the local elections.
The Cons have shown themselves to be worthless seat-warmers interested only in keeping in office.
Well done! That’s what we need to do, build up support on the ground, make people aware that there is another way.
AB has said publicly that No 10 offered him “anything – whatever you want” to shut up on vaccines, and he wouldn’t take it. Sincerely hope the good voters of his constituency vote for him regardless of the party he stands for.
And do note, anyone turning a blind eye to the Hancock ties and considering voting for Reform, the Tice has said AB is not welcome in Reform.
Reform, Tice and his horizontal Olympic mate Oakshott are simply pretend alternatives.
A vote for Reform is as wasted a vote as a vote for any of the Uniparty.
I know you don’t believe our salvation will come from the ballot box, but Heritage are sound.
Some former UKIPers have moved on now and are standing as independents. This is a possible way forward. (Reform UK was a rebranding of Sir Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party).
See how quickly the powers that be clamp down if people from outside the area are bussed in to campaign on Andrew Bridgen’s behalf like the Conservative party did in South Thanet in 2015 to stop Sir Nigel Farage.
Not a UK citizen, so I hesitate to speak out on politics–never appreciated when I lived in England and neighbors tried to engage me with disparaging remarks about US politics, 2016 election, and Trump–but what the hell. Is the Conservative Party trying to protect itself from liability of pushing the vax or is Big Pharma the instigator here? With Tucker Carlson fired by Fox–big news in US, maybe not elsewhere–the media is pushing Carlson’s “vulgar” language as the reason for the firing. Here’s a better explanation for the network’s firing of its number one draw: Carlson’s disparagement of Big Pharma and the media’s refusal to hold it accountable: https://brownstone.org/articles/tucker-carlson-departure-power-of-big-pharma/
See my post below. Big pharma have already successfully got apricot kernels banned from being sold as a food in the EU, and demonstrably have a strong influence on UK and European politics.
Are the enormous profits the motive behind Big Pharma’s corruption of Western democracies or is Big Pharma just a puzzle piece in the end game of …well, all the “conspiracy” theories put forth? Can this really be happening?
Certainly profits are a factor. Apricot kernels are known to be effective at helping to prevent cancers and aid recovery for them – and therefore also effective at suppressing big pharma profits, hence their campaign against laetrile (the “active ingredient” of the kernels, also found elsewhere). However, known eugenicists such as Bill Gates (son of an abortionist) can and do manipulate the pharmaceutical industry for their own purposes. We in the pro-life movement know that illiterate women in the third world have been given sterility inducing products without their knowledge or consent, and some of us have a suspicion that the experimental mRNA products sold as “vaccines” are an extension of this, given their observed effects on women of child bearing age, so yes, this is very real, sadly.
And I would caution that the term “conspiracy theorist” was promoted and popularised by those nice people at the CIA (who we know have, among other things, kidnapped and drugged people under the guise of alien abduction; and given serious consideration to a plan to fake the second coming of Christ for the benefit of people in Cuba, I assume around the time of the Bay of Pigs fiasco). I tend to avoid the use of such loaded terms and simply deal in the facts. Look at what we know for certain and take it from there. Consider each case on its own merits.
I thought using quotation marks around the c. t. expression was enough to point out how little I think of it, as most of these theories have turned out to be true. But you’re right to avoid the expression and I shall too from now on.
I understood your use of quotation marks and thanks for using them.
tucker was the only reason i watched fox news i looked forward to his show at 8 pm every weeknight. always humor too and love his laugh .. what other newscaster laughs! just tucker .well sometimes i watch elizabeth macdonald maybe she’ll be the next to be fired . hope n ot. she spoke up about the ‘vaccines’ dan ball at one america did too and so cable tv got rid of one america a year ago or more, too dangerous for their overlords to speak about the ‘ vaccine ‘ .
Everything Bridgen said in the House of Commons was referenced to official data yet they call him a conspiracy theorist!!
I am still seething at the sight of Andrew Mitchell shepherding MPs out of the Commons chamber when Andrew Bridgen rose to speak, there was clearly a movement to deny him the audience needed.
These people have lost any support I ever gave them, and to tell the truth I no longer see any point in voting for any of them. The anarchists are right, voting changes nothing.
A phrase popularised by the CIA. These sorts aren’t interested in facts.
No. They call him an anti-semite. Clever that, isn’t it?
He quotes someone who says that the Holocaust was worse than the debacle we’ve just been involved in, and that makes him a Jew-hater?
A problem: How to express my views without swearing?
“How to express my views without swearing?”
It’s a ruddy, firkin tough one that and especially when describing the Next Tuesdays running the show.
“Andrew Bridgen… was found to have breached lobbying rules”.(BBC report).
And never mind about a “Conservative” party that backed rigged vitamin D trials so that they could get round rules restricting the emergency use prescription of dangerous experimental medication on the general population. Which just happened to be costly. And produced by companies that are known to fund political parties and make concerted efforts to influence their behaviour. And are known for unethical practices (to put it mildly). The whole affair is sickening.
I will add this. Don’t give up on change just yet. If anti-Maastricht treaty people had given up, there would never have been a referendum on EU membership. That is a fact (even if it wasn’t honoured). I have been following and supporting the independence campaign since the 90s, and watched as an accumulation of concerns built up leading to 2016.
These, and other factors, are, I believe, leading to more people waking up, even if their numbers are still relatively small. The Light carried a piece recently about a group who would lend support to independent political candidates who backed their general principles relating to lockdowns, medical coercion etc. For those who still believe in democracy, please back such independents, or stand yourself if nobody else is where you live. Our day will come. We are many, they – they of this rotten parliament and their corrupt backers – are few. Fight – and win!
“Andrew Bridgen… was found to have breached lobbying rules”.(BBC report).
And never mind about a “Conservative” party that backed rigged vitamin D trials so that […]
It’s pointless to try to argue against that BBC statement. What rules Bridgen had, according to some people’s opinion, broken in the past (and in the somewhat distant past, mind you) has zero relevance for his statements on vaccine injuries or his subsequent expulsion from the Conversative and Untieist Party. The sole point of the BBC impartially bringing this up here is attempted character assassination.
And of course the whole point of the BBC failing to call out the government over the rigged vitamin D trials etc. was to keep the people who fund them happy. Impartially, of course…
Maybe. But in the context of the topic, Bridgen being expelled from the Subservient and Injectionist Party for quoting a cardiologist who said he believed only the Holocaust was a bigger crime against mankind than the covaccination campaigns and generally bringing up facts which are potentially harmful to the Pfizer/ Moderna bottom line and the parliamentary allies of these companies, it’s a useful distraction. While people focus on that, they’ll spend less time with saying nasty things about how a mock pandemic staged by a global health bureaucracy turned into a safe and effective way for Pfizer et al to milk taxpayers to tune of billions by peddling useless and harmful medical products.
Oh well, look on the bright side – even the BBC has been forced to report that Andrew Bridgen “compared Covid-19 ‘vaccines’ to the holocaust”. Maybe it will wake a few more people up. Only one thing worse than being talked about, and that’s not being talked about, as a wise man once said (and as I saw for myself with the BBC studiously ignoring those mass anti-lockdown protests).
a group who would lend support to independent political candidates who backed their general principles
This is probably the Together movement. The problem so far (for the May 2023 local elections) is that there have been few if any independent candidates to back.
Yes, that sounds right. I would consider them next time, but this of course is why we need to get more independents standing. Get several independents standing in every borough, and get through to people on the ground. Then we might get somewhere.
Forty Independents standing in Oldham.
This is a really stupid move on their part or it would be if they weren’t fully bought off. Not much consolation though knowing that we are ruled by venal imbeciles. It asks us to look in the mirror. We allow ourselves to be ruled by this? The majority of people seem to be carrying on with blithe indifference as if nothing has changed and any disruptions are just temporary blips. You cannot force reality down the throat of a population that would rather not see it. In such a time it is a difficult to see a way beyond factionalism. If you have been soaked in television and the scientifically crafted western propaganda model for a hundred years then there is a good chance that you are addled. The fact that there is any dissent at all is testament to the operation of higher powers and the sublime genius of the English language, which is embodied in the fine old art of taking the piss. This was always an anti-intellectual culture but this had its safeguards too. Orwell said in the early 1940s that jackbooted fascism would never take hold in England because people would just laugh at it. American television evangelists would never work here and yet there is a more sly and subtle deception that has taken hold that attacks the courage and spirit and morale and manliness of the culture.
I think this says all we need to know about the current Conservative Party.
If there is any justice, Andrew Bridgen should thrive without the Cons on his back. They are almost certain to lose the next election and I hope he retains his seat as an independent (or as part of whichever party he decides to join).
If I lived in his constituency, I know I’d vote for him.
“ It risks chilling the debate on the Covid vaccines and other contested areas …”
Absolute zero in the parliamentary vacuum of space has already been achieved. You can’t get any lower.
Hero, with capital H.
Shame on every MP who ostracised this righteous man, who put truth before personal progression.
There is absolutely zero doubt that, behind the scenes, there is panic in the establishment at Bridgen’s exposure of this wickedness.
Pray for him.
It should have been Hancock that was expelled…..from the human race.
Hancockroach should be expelled like the putrid turd he is. ( Soz if you’re eating your tea. ) Clown World Logic dictates that those with an intact moral compass and a social conscience ( with a decent amount of courage to boot ) should be cast out and defamed whilst spineless slugs who hold their constituents in contempt, enabling the crimes against humanity to continue unabated will always have safe haven and a job for life in that appalling institution.
Hehe … I like that.
The elusive hancockroach is a rare, larger-than-life form of cockroach which evolved out of his more mundane cousins in the uniquely favourable conditions of the catacombs and halls of Westminster palace, London. It was accidentally discovered when a security guard observed a couple of them mating in front a CCTV camera. Its impressive power of mimicry makes it usually appear just like another ordinary politician to the casual observer.
Class Mogs.
Their name will be mud in five years time but every moment of their tenure is suffering and justice deferred is justice denied. These are serious matters we are talking about mass murder. I would rather have Fred West in charge than this lot given the numbers. If you want a civilisation to continue then you can’t just let these matters go.We are talking about what Merloo called The Rape of the Mind along with the greatest robbery in history and an unprecedented detrimental attack on the mental and physical health of the whole of humankind. I am all for forgiving and letting things go but this is a matter that needs to be addressed and resolved.
I have nothing but utter contempt for these corrupt, venal gadflies that put our fellow Brits through the last three years.
For me there is no forgiveness, whilst they lined their pockets and carried on as normal, they used psychologists and deployed the army intelligence assets against us.
I don’t forgive their actions but when I look at them they are like babies and so I struggle to see them as moral agents. I would still ask, if a society reaches the point where it is ruled by the least among us then what are we saying as a society?
Yes, I agree we are run by the worst, venal incompetence.
‘Ruling’ a society is a difficult thing to do well, it requires good people who are difficult to deflect from their chosen path. Where we have got it wrong is that the rules are created by people in love with making them, not living under them as they appear not to need to do that given their privileged position.
Until we force our representatives to refuse to support the corrupt parties (I include the political in that description) in this arena, we’re not going to see much progress. Part of the difficulty is that when confronted with righteous anger from the public most politicians seem to reach for the police to arrest their critics instead of listening and responding.
I don’t know how to chance things, and as I get older I am finding it increasingly difficult not to wish immolation upon them all as I struggle to see how to make a difference in the time I have remaining in this life.
Seconded.
A fine comment. I don’t do ‘forgiving and letting go.’ I always get my own back.
In essence, a now thoroughly ‘woke’, soft-left Conservative party has no-platformed a man of principle. The Labour and Liberal Parties are no better. Our country is doomed.
Labour and Liberals are complicit in the casting out of Andrew Bridgen. This was an opportunity to show courage, decency and an understanding of this country and its Constitution. Their abject failure lumps them alongside the rubbish that constitutes the soon to be ex, Conservative Party.
If the whole situaton bothers you then imagine where we would be without the pandemic. Basically careering down a path without any brakes. Just getting fatter and more consumner-driven. This was a system waiting for destruction. Now we are entering an interesting phase – who will survive? I would just say stick to your principles and guide others you come into contact with.
I was quite happy thank you very much – not getting fatter and enjoying my consumption. Anyone who wasn’t happy with their lot was quite welcome to change their lifestyle and leave me the f alone.
Thanks tof, you said it for me.
They have just alienated a significant fraction of their supporters in order to appease a segment of the population who will never vote for them. Typical Stupid Party tactic.
Yes! Nevana Bridgen is writing a book. What a ruddy great idea. Maximum exposure is what’s needed now and going forward and we’re all on Team Bridgen;
”Mrs Bridgen said: “No corrupt and sleazy Conservative has been expelled despite being embroiled in countless scandals and money grabs, but they managed to kick my husband MP Andrew Bridgen for simply doing his job and speaking for the people who elected him.
“The date of 12th April may be the official date they removed him from the Conservative Party, but in reality, from the moment he began speaking up about the current issues, our whole family has been targeted and persecuted.
“Finally, I can talk about the censorship, abuse and racism I’ve experienced firsthand as a political wife in the past six years in Westminster.
“The truth will finally come to light.”
She added: “I am ready to write a tell-all book. Six years in the back stage of high level politics in Westminster, I have stories they will make a movie about.
“For six years I was placed on the silence button but enough is enough. Buckle up for the Confession of the Westminster Wife.”
She also pointed out that Mr Bridgen had supported Rishi Sunak “when everybody told him not to” adding: “Andrew delivered Brexit for East Midlands, he was loyal to @Conservatives to his fault.
“Sunak has allowed disgraced @MattHancock to defame my husband, it is all happening on his watch.”

Terrific news. I will buy a copy. Thanks again Mogs.
“Andrew Bridgen Expelled From Conservative Party After Raising Concerns About Covid Vaccine Harms”
Good riddance, I say (of the Conservative Party, that is.)
Bridgen expelled , “I’m a Celebrity” is on ( distraction tactics surely) Tuckers gone ! What’s next ??
The Conservative government has hijacked the party from its members. The government has become an extension of the Gates Foundation and the WEF. MPs like Andrew Bridgen (and there are many others) working with the members could save the party. We need to deselect corruption out of the party.
Andrew Bridgen expelled from the Tory party, Black Rock puts more dosh into Fox, and Tucker Carlson is removed from Fox, all pretty much on the same day. Someone somewhere is apparently rather concerned about the noisy detractors from their narrative.
Can’t wait for the men in grey suits to visit the unelected Sunak after the May annihilation at the polls.
Well done Andrew Bridgen you’re well out of that cesspit of a Conservative in name only party.
The Uniparty that prioritises sparing the blushes of transnational corporate interest above truth and protecting the health of its citizens has triumphed.
Not just here in the UK but throughout the ‘West’.
I voted Conservative in 2019 when Nigel withdrew my BP candidate in order to “get Brexit done.” I didn’t expect a great deal from them, other than a form of Brexit finally being delivered, but they have been far, far worse than I could possibly have imagined.
The Covid tyranny, which is still bubbling along in the background with the threat of the amended WHO Regulations and new Treaty, is unforgivable.
So on a personal basis, Bridgen’s “cancellation” is simply confirmation to me that there is no reason whatsoever why I would ever again vote for the Blu-Green Socialist Party.
Canada’s Parliament, founded on Britain’s, has become sidelined and largely irrelevant. It would seem Britain’s is now the same. For decades more power has been continuously vested in the PM Office. Elected MPs have become largely irrelevant as all policy and decisions are taken in the Office of PM. The Prime Minister now has powers nearly dictatorial. Add the toxic nature and control of political parties and we have a broken Parliamentary System where debates in Parliament are just a show. Elected MPs, even ones holding a powerful Cabinet position, can be ousted on a whim, if they disagree with PMO. MPs are kept in line with the help of very lucrative pay and pension packages. This whole arrangement now lies exposed and easily controlled by powerful special interest groups. Parliament was designed to thwart just this situation. It is time, long overdue, where reform is required.
How wonderful democracy is. The voters in his constituency who elected a Tory MP have no say in the matter.
If only we had 400 Bridgens in parliament. The county would have a future then.
