“Anxious schoolchildren represented in the classroom by £3,500 robots”

This will simply make the child’s problems far worse due to the lack of human socialising and interaction with other kids leading to a lifetime of reclusivness, its a barbaric idea!

There was never a plan to integrate this any wave of migrants into Britain

They are simply a standing army of mercenaries to be called on to at any time to put down unrest amongst the indigenous British!

Healey’s mansion tax raid to hit 270,000 families” – John Healey’s planned changes to the mansion tax threshold will drag more than a quarter of a million families into the levy, reports the Telegraph.

I can’t stop wondering how exactly are they going to be able to differentiate between a £1,500,000 property and a £1,499,500 one…

Aberdeen’s failed hydrogen bus fleet experiment:
“Your money – our mistakes”.
Nobody in the authority will be blamed for the fiasco, since ‘trying to save the world’ is a favoured pastime.

Will the cost appear on the council’s income and expenditure account or will it be magically lost.

To be honest the whole thing just blends into the background of utter ineptitude and mind-boggling stupidity which makes up the rich tapestry of local government.

A complete drain on public resources.

Russia’s Foreign Ministry:

The best places to live in the USA for UK expats in 2026 are…Austin, Houston…and the Seattle metro area…Austin and Houston offer Texas-sized space, no state income tax, and growing tech and energy sectors…Seattle works for technology professionals who want the climate and pace closest to UK norms

No thanks, both places full of Democrats. Anyway it’s not that easy to go and live in the US.

Not quite as easy as that though, is it?

‘A lot of people—especially coastal elites… coastal snobs—they have this idea of it being like filled with rednecks, and ignorant people, and foolish people,” (Joe) Rogan said of Texas. “And it’s not that way at all. Especially Austin…Austin is one of the most, like, liberal, easygoing, progressive cities, but like, even the progressives here, they’re, like, more reasonable’

In 2022, the number of people (in Houston) identifying as independent reached an all-time high at 49%. When the question was first asked in 1982, just over 40% of residents said they were independent. In most years’ surveys, the figure is somewhere between 40% and 50%’

Seattle is a two hour drive from all three Washington national parks and has plenty of hiking routes very close to city limits.

[…]the Commons Energy Security Committee’s call to drop the term ‘Net Zero’ is a cynical rebranding exercise designed to rescue the discredited policy by ditching only its toxic label, not its substance.

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.

Rory Stewart: “grooming gangs on longer a problem”, whilst King Charles discusses reparations for slavery following the recent 1833 Abolition of Slavery Act.. When an issue affects predominantly white people, the timescales seem to be a tad different than when it affects black people; why is this? Could someone enlighten me?

Rory’s slip up gives a valuabe insight into the mentality of the govt people – kick the can down the road prosecute a couple of taxi drivers to calm the masses, hope that people forget about it.

As we already knew absolutely no intention of doing anything beyond trying to manage the narrative.

My loathing of these people is off the scale.

Regarding Ratcliffe, I posted this last night:

The BBC and certain moany people – of whom the world seems to have an inexhaustible supply: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cm9dw4663j9zo

These moany tossers have the option of ceasing to give their money and time to the club, but moany tossers never want to simply withdraw their custom, they want someone else to fight a battle for them so that things change in the way they want, regardless of what the majority of customers think

I also wonder why a football club has a “Muslim fan group”. Is there some difference in how they support the club? Isn’t the point of being a supporter that you are all in it together, and get behind the players? What has Islam got to do with football? Isn’t being a supporter of a club about leaving your differences behind while you’re “being a fan”, rather than focusing on what divides you from fellow fans?

They have set up their own football ghetto because they are unwilling to integrate on any level.

Back in the day, fan groups were geographically based so you could organise stuff like travel to matches, now there are Gay Gooners.

A Muslim fan group must surely be the middle-eastern version of the punkah-wallah?

“There was never a plan to integrate this wave of migrants into Britain” – People of all classes sense they are being lied to by politicians who presided over mass migration with no strategy for integration, says Janet Daley in the Telegraph.

I don’t see how any “plan” to “integrate” hundreds of thousands or millions of people arriving in a short space of time could be realistic or practical. You can set some boundaries like insisting people work and don’t claim benefits, not pandering to non-English speakers, deporting criminals, but integration is surely an organic process which is unlikely to occur at any speed if so many arrive at once from radically different cultures, because they will just stick to their own and congregate.

This is one demonstration of why I think raw numbers matter. Bad eggs exist everywhere, and then there are those who can be influenced one way or another by those around them. If you mix mainly with your own “community” and keep yourselves as separate as possible, those worst aspects of your culture will persist. You can only do that if there are sufficient numbers. When my mum emigrated to England from Germany, she lived and worked and socialised almost exclusively with English and British people – she probably would not have wanted to be among lots of Germans anyway, but she didn’t have the option. There simply were not the concentrations of Germans to make that possible. It is just practicalities and human nature, not rocket science. But governments like to pretend they can shape human behaviour and idiots believe them.

Yes, influenced by those around them. Next they will be r@p1ng systematically in gangs. Or marrying their cousins….
