In an alarming U-turn in their relationship, Elon Musk has declared that Nigel Farage should be ousted as Reform U.K. leader because he doesn’t “have what it takes”. The Mail has more.
The X owner and world‘s richest man lashed out on his social media platform at his supposed ally, after spending the past week wading into British politics over sex abuse gangs.
Mr. Farage this morning referred to Musk as his “American friend” and refused to criticise him over remarks he made about Sir Keir Starmer and senior ministers which have been branded inflammatory.
The billionaire accused the PM of being complicit in the sex attacks by British Asian men, in his former role as Director of Public Prosecutions.
Farage used a BBC interview to claim Musk’s support for Reform U.K. makes the party look “cool” and helps it attract younger supporters.
However, at a Reform rally in Leicester yesterday he distanced himself from “hero” Musk’s support last week for the jailed English Defence League founder Tommy Robinson.
This afternoon, in a stunning blow to his Reform supporters, Musk, a close ally and aide to incoming president Donald Trump, wrote: “The Reform Party needs a new leader. Farage doesn’t have what it takes.”
However Mr. Farage refused to back down, replying: “Well, this is a surprise! Elon is a remarkable individual but on this I am afraid I disagree. My view remains that Tommy Robinson is not right for Reform and I never sell out my principles.”
It comes just weeks after they met at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida to discuss a donation to Reform, reported to be up to $100 million.
Yesterday, at the Reform conference, Chairman Zua Yusuf asked members to “picture the day when, in just a few years’ time, Prime Minister Nigel Farage triumphantly arrives at No.10 Downing Street, puts his briefcase down on the desk and takes a seat.”
Tories were quick to jump in to compound Mr. Farage’s misery. Huntingdon MP Ben Obese-Jecty tweeted: “Will you be standing aside Nigel? I’ve heard Rupert (Lowe, the Reform MP) is ready to replace you.”
And Andrew Lewin, the Labour MP for Welwyn Hatfield, added: “Ah Nigel, you should never meet your heroes.”
The owner of Tesla and X had a meeting that also included Reform treasurer Nick Candy last month, which Mr. Farage described as “historic”.
Mr. Farage also keen to promote himself as a fixer for new U.S. ambassador Peter Mandelson, after even being touted as an outside choice for the senior diplomatic role himself.
Mr. Musk wrote on his social media website X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday: “Free Tommy Robinson.”
But last night he distanced his party from Robinson, who is serving an 18-month prison sentence for contempt of court over social media messages about a teenage migrant, which began in October.
And the following day, Mr. Farage told GB News: “He’s very supportive of me. He’s very supportive of the party.
“He sees Robinson as one of these people that fought against the grooming gangs. But of course the truth is Tommy Robinson’s in prison not for that, but for contempt of court.”
Mr. Farage continued: “But equally, there are people in Britain who think that Robinson is a political prisoner. That’s the narrative that he’s pushed out. That’s how he earns his living but it isn’t quite true…
“We’re a political party aiming to win the next general election. He’s not what we need.”

Makes me wonder whether this is a deliberate strategy by Nigel and Elon to defuse Elon’s gaff of supporting TR. The MSM seem to have fallen hook line and sinker for the story, and for it to be totally true you’d have to believe that the considerable skills that both Farage and Musk have previously demonstrated in ‘controlling’ the media narrative in their favour had suddenly deserted them ?
With respect, going ‘all in’ at this stage is a dangerous tactic. I think Nigel is right to have an arms length with TR. After all I don’t recall TR endorsing Reform at all. I’m not sure that Elon isn’t just winding it back a notch to give himself room. Its only 15 days till Trump is sworn in and Elon and Vivek can go to town. That will give him some headaches to work through. Reform continue to grow and develop. Their livestream conferences this week were totally sold out and attracting 750k viewers. Ultimately I think Nigel is top figure head, and he is exactly right. A War consists of many battles. Some, you don’t need to fight at all.
It is alright to for Farage to have an arm’s length relationship with TR but not to put the boot in. Farage’s comments about him being in prison for contempt completely disengenuous, he should know noo other jpournalist has been in jail for this since 1962 and anyone from the MSM would havegot a slapped wrist. His lengthy imprisonment is political as clearly explained already by Habib. And TR did advise his supporters to vote Reform, and most would still like to but difficult if Farage remains leader.
In the past, the Legacy Media has mercilessly attacked anyone in national politics connected to TR. So Farage has every reason to be wary, very wary. He doesn’t want a party, that he built, destroyed again. We, all of us, cannot risk it happening, again: there won’t be a second chance. TR won’t be a major contributor to the organising and decision making within the Reform Party, so he doesn’t NEED to join. The value of TR is his life story and what he knows, and what he can tell the public. He can do that, independently. And it will avoid the strict conduct that would be necessary to avoid the disracting headlines that would drown out any constructive dialogue. That other ‘troublemaker’, Prof Matt Goodwin, isn’t a member of the party, and he is doing ok! Some are better working for the same aims outside the party. Circumstances change. Just wait until March, and the World will be vety different
Agree with your overall point. The political system is rotten and truth, decency and common sense now operate outside Westminster – more as pressure groups. Also, Tommy Robinson’s methods are unorthodox and would not fit with a party trying to cut through the Westminster political system with its accepted claim to power. If you can’t Beat em; Join em and Beat em.
Farage is ok in my book to keep at arm’s length to TR but NOT to unequivocally put the boot in and fail to recognise a perfectly clear political prisoner when he sees one. Musk simply lost respect for Farage for being DISHONEST / STUPID (take your pick). Such a pity because Reform is the only political vehicle taking us anywhere remotely resembling where we want to go. This is quite aside from Nigel’s blindness vis à vis Russia / Putin by the way. Elon is an altogether brighter cookie.
Like the Rona fascism. Tice and Farage had zero to say.
Open borders is not just the cross channel invasion – it is the legal invasion that is going to kill us. Where are the plans to cut immigration to zero?
Net-tard zero – they are against it but say little.
The US-NATO endless war against Russia – they are against it, say little.
TR is hardly a ‘fascist’. A guy who saw his 13 yr old cousin raped by Muslims and the state and plod did nothing except threaten his family.
If that is a fascist, than I am one as well. Whatever the word fascism means today.
The problem with that is how long before they manage to smear and discredit Farage, or someone else in Reform, ahead of an election, like they did last time. Maybe not totally, but enough to sow doubt and knock the numbers down enough.
The only way to break through is the way Trump did. Own everything. Own the worst of it. And become Teflon. And then they have nothing.
As long as people accept they have to apologise or make excuses for things that require no apology or excuse, there will be no breakthrough.
I see your point but upsettingly, it is Musk who is discrediting Farage aka Reform. What are the chances of us being able to completely overthrow the politcal system as it is? Our only chance seems to be Reform, very probably with Farage leading it. Musk’s calls to revolution are appealing but I think Reform has a real chance and I prefer that alternative. Trying to be logical although tbh I am divided on this. The treatment of Tommy Robinson was always going to come home to roost, wasn’t it?
But I don’t think Reform (or anyone else) can win anything as long as the establishment dictates what can be said and by whom.
Playing the man and not addressing the issue is a suckers’ play that the British public fall for over and over and over.
The way to beat that is to ignore the personal attacks and stick to the issue completely unapologetically, without a trace of shame.
If Robinson is right in what he says about grooming gangs and the Islamification of Britain, then he’s right. That’s all that should matter in this instance.
“After all I don’t recall TR endorsing Reform at all.”
On the contrary. I was at the Freedom Rally in July when Tommy called on Nigel to support the movement. Paul Thorpe (youtube) and Tommy’s closet circle have all spoken publicly about the need for an alliance. Mahyar Tousi has always spoken in favour of an alliance and yesterday was quite perplexed with the stance being taken by Farage and Reform. I agree with Tousi that Farage could at least have acknowledged that TR is effectively a political prisoner and / or agree that the terms of his imprisonment are outrageously harsh for a contempt of court charge – eighteen months solitary confinement. It’s bloody inhumane and the prison psychiatrist has admitted this. On top of all this Farage has sought to ridicule TR as some sort of habitual criminal without acknowledging his stature as the bravest patriot in this country.
Farage already has two enormous blackmarks in his ledger:
1. Standing down Brexit candidates on the eve of the 2019 election.
2. Suggesting during the Scamdemic that Bliar should have been given responsibility for “vaccine” rollout.
Now he has more than blotted his copybook with his decidedly vicious rejection of TR and his millions of supporters. So what game is he playing?
Reform will not be anywhere near government even if there are any further elections with this utterly shabby attitude.
Surely on the grounds of human decency alone Farage should be calling out Kneel for his blatant and corrupt politicisation of the police and the judiciary. Presumably, according to Reform the other political prisoners are of no concern and are like Tommy habitual criminals. Peter Lynch has been lost to his grandchildren forever and Starmer is guilty as hell. Well done Nigel.
Tice has opened his gate again today and dismissed TR in his usual fashion. The only Reform member showing any credit is Rupert Lowe. Why are they not throwing everything at Starmer and keeping the pressure on ? Elon Musk has made the Rape Gangs and Political Prisoners international issues and Farage and co want to play it all down as a storm in a tea cup.
Either we are not being told the full story or Farage is batting for the other side because currently he might be signing up members but most certainly NOT their votes.
”More awareness has been raised around the rape and abuse of thousands of vulnerable British girls in the last few days than has ever happened before. As a country, this is a conversation we needed to have. It shames our political class that it has taken a man of Elon Musk’s influence to drag this into the light.
This is where the focus should remain, not elsewhere – swift and brutal justice for those responsible.
Tommy Robinson’s role in exposing these gangs should be acknowledged. He is not right for Reform, but I do think that his efforts in revealing these heinous crimes should not be overlooked.
I thank Elon for his kind comments. I just want to do what is right for my constituency and my country – that is my only interest.
Nigel is leader of Reform. He made Brexit happen, and for that I will always be grateful. I look forward to working with Nigel and the entire team to continue to hold this incompetent Labour Party to account, democratise our own party, win the next election and form a Reform Government.
A power from outside the existing political establishment is the ONLY way to achieve the change this country so desperately needs.”
Decent comments from Mr Lowe although his support for Farage and the rest is polite rather than enthusiastic. I think he realises the party is playing the wrong game. Very hands off.
Thank you for posting Rupert Lowe’s comment. It was a measured and impressive reaction.
i joined Reform because of its stance on Brexit and immigration and the fact that it was the only party to even mention the pandemic. It was also the only party to make any comment on the exorbitant cost of university education which is putting it out of reach of many working class youngsters.
Sadly they then blew rather cold on these issues rather than seizing the bull by the horns and running with it.
If they continue to “pussy foot” around important issues because of their own personal ambitions there will be nothing to distinguish them from the Conservatives, who at least have a track record of government- however shameful.
I actually stopped my subscription when they retreated from criticism of the mishandling of the pandemic but reluctantly rejoined and voted for them at the last election.
We need real change and I believe Elon Musk is right to raise these issues.
Nothing wrong with a good wet f*rt. Seriousy though, haven’t we had enough of ‘charismatic’ politicians. Charisma is not too far removed from narcissism. I give you the ultimate BJ.
Without wishing to go round and round on this Hux, I do want to clarify my view a little. This group is of like-minded people, with a similar outlook, yet the depth of feeling and the range of opinions should make it obvious that this is a pretty contentious subject both here and out in the bigger world. TR has been very brave in continuing to push for wider public knowledge of the child rape gangs and I can respect that greatly. He is, though, trying to go chin to chin with the what appears to be the whole of the establishment. Through his actions he has got sent to prison, and in grave danger. I can understand his reasoning and the motivation, but if he died in prison, he will not be mourned as a martyr, not by the MSM, nor the Government. This is a personal battle fought to no advantage for TR.
Of course none of the TR stuff makes much difference in gaining the support of the electorate for further action on Child Rape. When I say the ‘Whole of the Establishment is trying to cover this up’, it is the ‘Whole..’, the lot of them from the Lords and Commons, to the Media, the Police and the Judiciary.. It is disgraceful, shameful, but this is what is happening, and TR and even Elon, can’t bring it to a conclusion. Only the establishment can do that, but they are so complicit, that they will admit nothing, preferring to allow it to continue than to own up to their shame.
Farage has his limits. He is a tremendous communicator, like Trump, He is inspiring like Trump. Unlike Trump he has a growing 20% of the electorate with him, not a solid and proven 50% like the Don. He needs to stay in a range of acceptable view for the other 30% that he hopes to win over. Thats not happening if he goes balls in with TR. TR has a reputation (some falsely portrayed) that Reform would do well not to become ‘adjacent to’ in modern parlance. The establishment are looking for ways to minimise Reform, and getting the supporters to split on whether Farage is or not ‘the man’ is really incidental, at this moment.
Elon has also drawn out the issue of foreign interference in our politics, but this opens up the questions of where the left get their money, and why we allow Bill Gates to donate money to the BBC, for example. I don’t know quite what is behind the statement about ‘good enough or not good enough’. It seems a bit out of place in the rest of the conversation. If Elon thinks he should be more strident about it all, then maybe he is being a bit unrealistic. Like I say, the child rapists rope is hung around Starmers neck, but there are thousands of other necks in the noose, and they wont jump off the ladder willingly. The least we can do right now is to stick together and fight the battles than we can win.
Yes TR asked the crowd in London to put their hands up if they voted Reform … 90% did.
Tice and Nigel are looking like haughty middle class snobs.
Lowe and Habib have shown how to deal with it reasonably.
Farage (& Tice) have stupidly cheesed off and insulted many potential working class voters (and middle class like me) because they clearly don’t have much of a clue about TR and this case.
Tony Blair is a war criminal and deplorable in almost every possible way. I don’t see Labour rushing to distance themselves from him.
The last Conservative government, including Badenoch, are responsible for carrying out a mass scientific experiment with terrible consequences on the British public. I don’t see them ashamed of any of that.
I suspect the only reason Tommy Robinson is considered toxic to a political party is because the establishment who control the media have manufactured it that way. And the only way to stop them from smearing people who say things they don’t want people to hear is by ignoring their smears.
The last Conservative government is guilty of crimes against humanity and at least one recent PM is guilty of treason but apparently they “followed the $cience” so that’s alright then.
Have I missed the reason or discussion where Farage can support Robinsons release and criticise why he is jail and then additionally explain that he doesn’t see a role for him within Reform, even if Robinson wants one?
I think it’s what Tyrbiter posts below. The decision looks entirely political, based on Farage’s perception that TR is regarded as a “far right racist” and would lose him more votes than he gains. In the short term this may be true. In the long term, perhaps we’re lost until there’s an acceptance that TR is not a “far right racist”. Don’t know if that will ever happen.
TR will always be a toxic vote and donor loser for Refirm so he must stay out. I resigned from UKIP because it deserted its purpose and the then leader took on TR as an adviser.
Yes OK, but TR is only toxic because the establishment have made him so, because they know that probably a majority of British people would agree with most of his views if put to them anonymously.
But Farage is also right that this is about winning the war, and fighting on your own chosen field.
Where to start, convictions for violence, mortgage fraud, immigration conviction for attempting to enter the USA on someone else’s passport. None of these related to politics but speak to his character.
If all true, not a great recommendation, I agree. Arguably it would be difficult for him to seek political office. But that doesn’t mean his message is not valid and it doesn’t mean Farage shouldn’t admit that. I suspect Farage’s reluctance is to do with the way TR is perceived as a “far right racist” rather than any of his criminal convictions.
Interesting down vote for stating the truth. Which bit of my list of offences do you not like. Maybe the violence convictions which include kicking a policeman in the head? As my post below, his video is chilling and should be available for everyone to see but even my agreement with his message cannot get me to ignore his past.
Because it’s irrelevant.
he was raised to be a football hooligan by his uncles.
he never hides from his past behaviour as being ‘troublesome’ to say the least.
the mortgage fraud is a result of a fishing trip by the police and very minor stuff.
BUT
it does not detract from his courage and resilience and the central point.
i wrote him off as a vile scumbag because the legacy media and political class told me to.
then I was presented by YouTube with an interview he had with Dave Rubin years ago … I dismissed it thinking why listen to that scum and perhaps Dave isn’t the reasonable bloke I thought
curiosity won … and I’ve now listened and watched a few dozen hours of interviews and documentaries and the Oxford Union address and the Jordan Peterson interviews.
TR is definitely not what the establishment present him to be.
The last few years have demonstrated clearly the role of the media in shaping the narrative, however untrue. I have also taken the trouble to listen to some of the interviews you discuss and to some extent share your view.
Rupert Lowe to my mind has steered the right path in addressing TR’s good points whilst expressing the view that he is not right for the party.
With my very conventional background it was quite a change for me to realise that TR deserved support and I have been to two his rallies and hope to go to the next on 1 February. With the benefit of funds from Musk there is hope that the censorship by the MSM will be broken. anyone who has been to his rallies or really investigated will realise he is a rough diamond but not racist not anti moslem but against aspects of islamisation.
I believe TR does not want to be tied to one party. His supporters like me appreciate the risks he has personally taken publicising the grooming gangs (where Farage and others want to make capital out of) so are appalled at the way Farage and Tice can just wash their hands of the travesty of justice he and others following Stockport are suffering. If they have no values in the end they are not much better than the other parties
The difficulty here is that associating Reform with TR means that Tommy’s past can be used to attack Reform because he has been imprisoned several times and this will reflect badly on a political party that wants to stay away from the kind of controversial behaviour that TR tends to be involved with.
As I have said before there would have been a middle way. Farage wants to take the benefit of TR exposing for years the grooming gangs at the same time seems happy to throw him under a bus and let him fester in solitary confinement.I had hoped Reform would have some principles and see the injustice of his sentencing and also of many after Stockport. Sadly this does not seem to be the case if Farage stays leader, he just has calculated he would rather try and gain votes in conservative seats against certainty now he will lose a million votes or so in labour ones.
Trump has triumphed because he has refused to apologise or back down when attacked, not on substance, but on form. They tried to make him deplorable in every possible way and he refused to bow any of it.
If TR is solid on the substance and can only faulted on the form (confected or real), then Musk has a point and perhaps there should be less caution and more doubling down.
Trump has a talent for ignoring the brickbats, and bringing the conversation back to the issue, not the person. I don’t see why Nigel isn’t all over the uniparty on several fronts – the only reason I can come up with he’s trying to keep his powder dry. Trouble is getting reform into some position of power is hell of a climb, vs many habitual Tory voters
But you’re forgetting Reform Party MP James McMurdock, who was accepted by Nigel as a candidate even after honestly admitting that he had been imprisoned at age 19 for assault, and spent 3 weeks in a young offenders institution. He is now married with four children, and has proven to be a quietly brilliant MP, hugely popular with his own constituents for his diligent efforts on their behalf.
Issues here:
1. Massive egos.
2. Robinson’s exposure of rape gangs, laddish history
3. Musk is a mixed bag. World’s richest and purveyor of electric cars
4. Farage still seems to have ultimate power over Reform (although they are clearly the best option)
The chairman is a very recent appointment of Farage kicking out Habib so hardly an improvement and as for Tice of course the agree with him. The words of Mandy Rice Davies spring to mind
To be fair, Nigel only replaced a Pakistani Jewish Millionaire Habib with a Pakistani Muslim Millionaire. Neither are what the Indigenous British People want to represent them.
Having joined Reform and voted UKIP then Brexit Party then Reform ever since all 3 main supported HS2 I am dismayed at Farage’s lack of values. He and Tice had no need to put the boot into TR could just have said that they do not agree with him always but accept his imprisonment at all for something any MSM journalist would just get a slapped wrist especially in a high security prison when anyone else at worst would be in an open prison or tagged at home is a travesty of justice. If they are not prepared to do this for whom will they support. Pastor Niemoller’s words spring to mind. For all our sakes Reform need to recover by making Lowe or Habib leader
I have never been a member of UKIP and their leader ‘s performance is sometimes too reminiscent of the 1930s. You have ignored my concerns on Farage and Tice lack of values saying unnecessarily firstly what they did and the damage it had already done and might if not corrected continue to do
What about William Clouston and the SDP. WC is very critical of NF for saying he’s not bothered by the demographic changes in the country that immigration is bringing about. WC is an intelligent, thoughtful man and no one could be more respectable. Very highly thought of in Corbridge, the little Northumberland town where he’s parish chairman.
Lowe, Yes. Habib, NO! The Indigenous British People DO NOT need yet another Pakistani pretending to represent them! Nigel only replaced the Pakistani Jewish Millionaire Habib with the Pakistani Muslim Millionaire Yusuf. Neither of them can ever represent the views and aspirations of the Indigenous Brits.
Here’s a thought: why don’t you go to Pakistan and try to set yourself up as Leader of one of their Patriots of Pakistan political parties, and see how you get on?
Or how about setting yourself up in Israel as Leader of one of their political parties?
Why is it fine for everyone else in the world to prefer their own ethnic people to represent them, but “racist” for Ethnic Europeans?

Responding to a Daily Mail commenter who said Musk doesn’t understand the UK, another public commenter said:
“I think he understands it very well, the unvoiced UK.
What Tommy fights for, not necessarily Tommy, is THE major issue for most Brits, and because he is one of the few risking everything for it, they back Tommy, because this issue is too big to make it about like or dislike for an individual who IS on the side of girls and our nation.”
Others said:
— “When the actual victims are saying Phillips and Starmer are part of the problem, then we need to listen to them. Who knows better than the victims?”
— “Farage is clever. But even clever people make mistakes. TR is rapidly becoming a National Hero. He has been proved right and sacrificed himself in the pursuit of truth. A simple endorsement would validate TR, and confirm to Reform supporters that Farage is not just another turncoat politician.”
Thank you kindly, Bean. I was only passing on what others have said better than I could.

Elon Musk is correct in his assessment. If supporting Tommy Robinson would require Nigel Farage to, in his words, “sell out my principles”, then he has the wrong principles.
Anybody slagging off Tommy and agreeing that he should be in jail because he’s guilty of ‘contempt of court’ blatantly hasn’t watched the documentary film ‘Silenced’, for then they would know *why* this has happened and the background story. Robinson could quite easily have caved in to the threat from the corrupt courts but he courageously sacrificed his own freedom for the greater good, and in so doing martyred himself, then went ahead and aired his film. The film which shows the truth. No wonder the bent buggers wanted him silenced.
Wise words from Connor and Douglas Murray;
”Tommy Robinson is a boogeyman to distract from the problems that the political and media establishment has caused.
Douglas Murray says it best: Tommy Robinson would not exist if politicians had done their jobs, and not betrayed the British people.
I know it must be annoying to be asked about him constantly, Nigel.
But a dismissal of Tommy Robinson (no matter his personal failings) is interpreted as a dismissal of the issues his supporters, and Reform voters, care about.
Until recently, those who attended Robinson’s rallies were all Reform voters.
Bringing up Robinson’s past convictions, and promising to personally encourage American commentators to disavow him, is interpreted as an attack on Reform’s own voters.
Rather than focusing on Robinson, when answering these questions simply promise to address the problems they are concerned about.
There is no Hungarian version of Tommy Robinson, because Hungary does not have our problems.
“Tommy Robinson would not exist if people had done their jobs. So Reform will deal with the mess they failed to clean up.”
I have watched it and it is a truly terrifying and excellent piece of work by Robinson but he was taken to court, lost, told not to repeat what he said and did. Now you can disagree with the original verdict and having watched the video, I do, but having lost, unless the verdict is reversed, you have to abide by the decision or we get anarchy. Let’s not forget, Robinson admitted to the contempt and took his medicine. If he was convinced, why did he not appeal the original verdict or deny the contempt in the subsequent hearing. Your final sentence is what we should all be saying without coming out in support of the man, to emphasize the appalling failures of Governments of all stripes.
It is almost impossible to appeal against a decision of a judge who has heard the witnesses, as the judges in the Court of Appeal do not hear the witnesses. It would have been interesting to read any criticisms of the facts in TR’s film, but there are none, which speaks for itself. The damage award of £100,000 looks absurd, but then this seems a tactic of the establishment etc. to silence those such as TR and previously Katie Hopkins and Lawrence Fox. He broke a court order so difficult to deny that even if the court order was questionnable, but the sentenceof 18 months to be served in a high security prison is outrageous; no journalist having been jailed since 1962, and if from the MSM would probably just had his wrist slapped with judge saying no point in sending him to prison when that item is now publically available
“having lost, unless the verdict is reversed, you have to abide by the decision or we get anarchy”
I disagree quite strongly. It’s a duty to disobey laws you consider unjust. I don’t know the facts of the case, nor have I seen the film, but he considers them unjust and he is standing up for what he believes in. I’m sure everyone imprisoned by Stalin had broken a law and been found guilty by a court.
“ you have to abide by the decision or we get anarchy” It’s a2 way street. Tommy has demonstrated the complete corruption of the multicultural statist judiciary in the sentence he was handed down. A state that abuses the process of justice as a control measure will rapidly lead to societal disregard for that institution and then we really will have anarchy. Starmer’s competence as a lawyer if he ever had any, seems to have been eroded by his immersion in left wing human rights advocacy and his involvement with the traitorous Trilateral ommission
Let’s get real. Farage is a visionary, a strategist, but not a manager, and as such Musk is probably right. Boris was none of the above, in fact he was a particularly bad manager, whose only vision was to follow trends, and not to lead
Slippery Starmer is not even in the same room, he’s just an over promoted lawyer

It has just dawned on my small brain that the real reason for Elon Musk’s call for a new leader could be that the Pakistani Jewish Ben “Sour Grapes” Habib has gone whining to Musk, as he has gone whining to everyone else, persuading Musk to help Habib realise his dream of ousting Nigel to take over the leadership himself! In other words, “Revenge”.
And Elon Musk’s bizarre praise for the Nigerian Birth Tourist jumping on the Muslim Rape Gang bandwagon (after the Tories did nothing about it for 14 years) begins to make sense when you realise that Ben “Sour Grapes” Habib also praised Badenoch back in September, saying he would prefer her to be Tory leader over Jenrick.
Well, well, well— how very interesting that Musk could be so easily manipulated by “Sour Grapes”…
And then the Pakistani Reform leader Sour Grapes might do a deal with the Nigerian Olukemi Olufunto to force Reform to be absorbed by the New Amoeba Tory Party, avoiding any troublesome Indigenous Brits getting in the way…

Nigel Farage is most definitely the grown-up in the room on this. Whatever the back story, TR is in prison for breaking the law, which he has done many times before (see article in Pimlico Journal today for good summary). No serious politician can back TR.
Lots of allegations in a long tedious article. BUT, does it change in anyway what Robinson has to say about grooming gangs and the Islamification of Britain? Does it make what he says about that any less true?

He who hesitates is lost! Reform must grasp the nettle even if it stings a bit.
People are not joining Reform because it is a slightly more outspoken Tory party, they are joining because they see the need for a real change in the political establishment and realise that Reform is the only hope for change. However, they must be bold.
i have no idea of the detailed rights and wrongs of Tommy Robinson but I am impressed by Rupert Lowe’s measured response to Elon Musk’s comments on the subject.
if Reform are merely posturing and not representing the possibility of real change then people like me will withdraw support. We have had enough of politicians who steer a centrist path to avoid making the necessary and difficult decision to actually govern for the people rather than for themselves and their personal or party ambitions.
It won’t be long till Musk turns on Trump. Musk is an autistic speaker who designs vehicles that NOBODY WANTS.
There was a certain german corporal that spent time in prison. How did that work out Elon?
Again with references to Hitler. What’s the significance?

Farage has always appeared as a revolutionary with clarity and exceptional skills to take on the globalist elites, ruling classes and other self-serving quangos destroying the country and the middle classes. There seems to be a change, to me, in Farage since becoming leader of Reform and becoming so successful in the last election. It is a huge disappointment. Maybe he smells power and sees a clear road to getting enormous power and so is becoming more like all politicians trying to offend as few people as possible hoping to get as much support as possible. This is the recipe that destroys leadership. Perhaps in his exceptional vision and clarity Musk sees this. Perhaps Farage is not as strong as we thought but even so, he is by far the strongest and most gifted politician on the scene at the moment.
It’s important to remember who first sounded the alarm about Muslims Gang-Raping British Children: the Courageous Englishman NICK GRIFFIN.
“Way back in 2001, Nick Griffin of the British National Party began to point out that Pakistani pimps in Britain were targeting white girls under 16.”
“In the Tory Telegraph last month, Sean Thomas wrote about Nick Griffin’s role:
As long ago as 2001, Nick Griffin, the leader of the BNP, was making claims about Asian grooming gangs. In 2004 he repeated these allegations in a speech clandestinely recorded by the BBC for a TV documentary, Secret Agent. He was arrested and charged with inciting racial hatred.
“The British Nationalist Jonathan Bowden is undoubtedly one of the greatest speakers these islands have produced.
Initially a member of the Conservative Party, he is one of several nationalists who warned of the rape of British children by immigrant gangs in the 1980s.
NICK GRIFFIN, former leader of the British National Party, was prosecuted following a campaign supported by the BBC for his warnings about organised crime in Britain’s Muslim areas.
He was convicted in 2006 of “stirring up racial hatred”. Griffin was threatened with up to SEVEN YEARS IN PRISON for warning of “paedophile drug rape” conducted by PAKISTANI gangs in Keighley, West Yorkshire.”
“As I pointed out in “The Silent Sisterhood,” feminists prefer to ignore sex-crimes committed by non-White men, because such crimes contradict their insistence on the Omnipotent Evil of the Stale Pale Male. Now more proof of feminist double-standards has arrived, because another Muslim rape-gang has hit the headlines in Brave New Britain.”
Well it didn’t take long for Musk to come to the same conclusion as some of us. They probably sat down and Musk asked Farage about his policy plans and was met with a blank stare. Plans and Farage – two words that do not fit together given this was the man whose UKIP party had no plan to leave the EU and informed people realise that this did our country a lot of damage. The Reform Chairman talks about ‘members’ but as I have said before to the annoyance of the ignorant Faragistas – Reform is not a party with members but a company owned by Nigel Farage – on money borrowed from Richard Tice – and it has supporters who pay a fee to Nigel but have no power. The timing is not great given the importance of the May elections but I think it is better to address this issue now and not closer to the General Election.
Before wailing on that I am wrong perhaps you should seek out the experiences of those who have been in UKIP and the Brexit Party and suffered from the Farage effect.

Refusing to bend against Musk blast suggests to me that Farage is very much up to the job.

Why is supporting TR a “gaff”?
There was a certain german corporal that spent time in prison. How did that work out Elon?
You seem to be comparing Tommy Robinson to Hitler. Not sure about that.
Any road up, not sure that answers my question.
I think he might be correct tbh… seems to be treading very carefully indeed on certain topics… we need someone to go all in
With respect, going ‘all in’ at this stage is a dangerous tactic.
Agreed – I don’t see what he’s hoping to achieve by that – does he want people to think he’s more centrist?
The country does not need left, right or centre we just need common bloody sense.
Spot on
In the past, the Legacy Media has mercilessly attacked anyone in national politics connected to TR.
I meant on many subjects, not just TR….
I’m pretty sure this is basically Musk’s message.
100% Stewart.
Yup, that’s what I think too. The whole frame of the debate needs to be moved away from where it is currently.
Bingo!
stop trying to appease the vile racist and snobbish establishment .
I understand the instinct to caution.
Well said.
Yes, here’s Rupert Lowe’s latest on this matter;
Do you like Lowe for the position of Reform leader, then?
Possibly. I am stuck on this one Mogs.
Excellent statement from Rupert Lowe! Thanks for posting it.
Lowe has the charisma of a wet f*rt
Nothing wrong with a good wet f*rt. Seriousy though, haven’t we had enough of ‘charismatic’ politicians. Charisma is not too far removed from narcissism. I give you the ultimate BJ.
There was a certain german corporal that spent time in prison. How did that work out Elon?
Correction:
Indigenous Ethnic European Englishman Rupert Lowe, MP, has shown how to deal with it reasonably.
Unelected Pakistani Jewish Millionaire “Sour Grapes” Habib is bristling with revenge.
Seconded.
The last Conservative government is guilty of crimes against humanity and at least one recent PM is guilty of treason but apparently they “followed the $cience” so that’s alright then.
Ouch!
I resigned from UKIP because it deserted its purpose and the then leader took on TR as an adviser.
im not about to stay in Refirm with TR.
Yes OK, but TR is only toxic because the establishment have made him so, because they know that probably a majority of British people would agree with most of his views if put to them anonymously.
But Farage is also right that this is about winning the war, and fighting on your own chosen field.
And those are the dilemmas of leadership.
That’s why Rupert Lowe’s comments showed in my view the right approach.
What has he done that you don’t approve of? (I know little about him).
Absolutely spot on John. I was at the July rally. Damned if I know where the Far Right where though.
( I can’t make February sadly otherwise I would have suggested a meet up).
Absolutely nailed it.

Right again.
Hear, hear.
“Controversial?”
Given the shenanigans of this government which spews “Controversial ” on a daily basis I think “Controversial ” might require redefinition.
Kneel – daily liar.
Ranting Rayner – liar and tax dodger.
Rachel Thieves – can’t speak without lying.
Tulip – Bangladeshi dipper.
“Contoversial” is simply the modus operandi of this government.
Have you forgotten that Farage is the party leader and leaders eerrr lead. Both the chairman and deputy agree with Nigel’s view.
so do I, for what it’s worth.
Habib is spectacularly popular
Only in his own eyes.
Go back to UKIP. On the back of bequests it still exists and I heard it’s officers enjoy their irrelevancy.
I have never been a member of UKIP and their leader ‘s performance is sometimes too reminiscent of the 1930s. You have ignored my concerns on Farage and Tice lack of values saying unnecessarily firstly what they did and the damage it had already done and might if not corrected continue to do
Nigel did once call Tommy “scum” in an interview, if I remember correctly.
In complete agreement.
Lowe, Yes.
The voting has gone all screwy.
A click on a Thumbs up reduces the number of Thumbs up.
Excellent post!
Thank you kindly, Bean. I was only passing on what others have said better than I could.
Elon Musk is correct in his assessment. If supporting Tommy Robinson would require Nigel Farage to, in his words, “sell out my principles”, then he has the wrong principles.
Or perhaps no principles.
Wise words from Connor and Douglas Murray;

It is the duty of all to stand up against unjust laws.
We need to remember who it is that makes these laws.
Thanks for posting Mogs.
You seem uninformed
There was a certain german corporal that spent time in prison. How did that work out Elon?
You sound vaccinated to me.
It won’t be long till Musk turns on Trump. Musk is an autistic speaker who designs vehicles that NOBODY WANTS.

I agree something definitely changed… perhaps someone ‘had a word’ and he’s having to throw it, but trying not to show it

The British grooming gangs scandal – Steve Sailer
BNP leader accused of stirring hate in speech – North Wales Live
THE CULTURAL PRODUCTION OF CHILD RAPE – Frank Wright
“As I pointed out in “The Silent Sisterhood,” feminists prefer to ignore sex-crimes committed by non-White men, because such crimes contradict their insistence on the Omnipotent Evil of the Stale Pale Male. Now more proof of feminist double-standards has arrived, because another Muslim rape-gang has hit the headlines in Brave New Britain.”
Silent Sisterhood Revisited: Another Vibrant Rape Gang, Another Liberal Lie-Fest – The Occidental Observer
