Polling from the last six months has not been kind to Labour, who have tanked from about 36% to about 27%. That’s quite a fall. And it isn’t particularly surprising when you consider everything that’s happened: the anti-immigration riots, Elon Musk calling the PM “Two-Tier Keir”, the decision to release thousands of prisoners early, the Chagos Islands deal, the ‘wardrobegate’ scandal surrounding Lord Alli’s donations, and so on.
Does this mean the Tories should be celebrating? Well, they are back up to about 27% in the polls, their highest level since 2023. But the good news pretty much ends there.
