The Curious Links of Led by Donkeys

by Charlotte Gill
18 December 2024 7:00 AM

Last week, you may remember I wrote about the curious links of the Assisted Dying Bill (the article is here in case you missed it).

Today I wanted to delve into the curious links of Led by Donkeys. This is the activist group that has engaged in numerous high-profile stunts across Britain. In August it was responsible for a banner at a Liz Truss event, which showed a picture of a lettuce and the words “I crashed the economy”. It is also responsible for a billboard in Clacton broadcasting Nigel Farage’s income, among numerous other campaigns – often involving outdoor media.

This is a brilliant article about some very annoying people.

Nevertheless:

‘In June, Led By Donkeys lowered a banner referring to Nigel Farage’s admiration for Vladimir Putin while the Reform leader was speaking in Clacton.

Farage’s anger was poorly concealed; he bellowed from the stage that someone at the venue “needs to get the sack“…….’I think the mask slipped,” said Stewart. “He revealed a bit of the tetchy, thin-skinned guy that he is.”

“Farage has said that Putin is the world leader that he admires the most,” Stewart said, “and he’s really good at styling that out in interviews.

We wanted to do something that would embarrass him around that, and make the point that the chief beneficiary of the position that he takes there is Vladimir Putin.”

And not only is that correct but Farage’s position on Putin, and his strange connections in Montenegro (Look up George Cottrell if you are interested), home to much Russian money laundering to fund radical fringe European political parties, lost Reform a great deal of support at the last election. And that attack will happen at every election until Reform and Mr Farage address everyone’s concern on that extremely unattractive stance regarding Putin, a man arguably responsible for more death and destruction, displaced people, in Europe than anyone since the various totalitarian dictators of the 1930s.

Led by donkeys do not appear to be fans of this labour government either.

“During the course of the last Labour government, I can’t remember how many times we were arrested [as Greenpeace members] protesting their policies,” said Stewart. “We are very comfortable getting arrested for protesting Labour governments.” and are concerned about the impact of means-testing winter fuel payments on pensioners in poverty.

They believe in electoral reform, even if it would give more seats to the parties, such as Reform, that they oppose.’

And they do not appear to live in an echo chamber

When they appear at live events, Knowles tells the audience: “Subscribe to print media, get a newspaper, get a political magazine. Inform yourself. Having that information is an integral and important part of being an active citizen

“I read the Telegraph every morning – I read all the papers”, Stewart said.’

Curiously enough, their advice to everyone to read different publications from all parts of the political spectrum is also the advice given to cadets at British Military Academies.

Putin is admirable. He has held Russia together against years of perfidious US sabotage, he has grown their economy to the forth most powerful, called NATO (see Yanks) bluff in Ukraine and completely humiliated them there, and is now the locus for BRICs. He has also show remarkable restraint. Unlike the bankrupt US.
Sub-optimal for the West I agree, but he does what he says on the tin.
Meanwhile the US and EU slide into degeneracy, dishonesty, bankruptcy, and totalitarianism.

Russia has been gridlocked in a war against Ukraine for two years now it seems to be unable to win. Obama famously referred to it as regional power. As it turned out to be, that was too much praise. Aiming to become a regional power, but without much success so far, would be a better description. Apart from that, the Putin regime has been alternating between whining about being threatened by terrible Ukrainian Nazis and threatening to nuke everyone and his dog twice or more during this time.

Not particularly admirable.

Unable win? Really? As the amount of territory of the People’s Republics that it liberates every day has never been so high that even the idiots in the western legacy media has noticed. The AFU are teetering on the edge of collapse in Donetsk with Pokrovsk the key battleground and once this falls a rapid advance to the border will follow given that it is currently one of the two fighting seasons there.

People’s Republics is an old eastern bloc term for the (pro forma) communists regimes which used to exist there and communists hordes liberating people from all kinds of stuff, especially from the burden of any property they might own and oftentimes, from the burden of being alive as well, is also a well-known phrase of that time. It’s quite telling that both reappear here.

Russia also liberated Afghanistan for about 10 years in a row in the past and the corresponding People’s Republic had much more outward success than pro-Russian elements in Ukraine have had so far. The ultimate outcome was a rather hasty withdrawal and the People’s Republic Chief People having a rather unfortunate encounter with a lamp post after running into some unliberated local non-people.

It’s not really surprising that Russia occupies less of Ukraine now than it did immediately after its invasion.

Recruiting Private Godfrey was never really going to be a game changer:

Pure genius:

‘Visual evidence and Syrian reporting continue to indicate that Russian forces are preparing to either significantly draw down or fully withdraw from Syria…….A well-placed Damascus-based outlet reported on December 17 that Russian forces were evacuating their positions in Latakia (Hmeimim Air Base) and preparing a large military convoy to leave via the Port of Tartus. Maxar satellite imagery from December 15-17 shows a Russian Il-76 transport aircraft and dozens of military vehicles on the tarmac at Hmeimim Airbase and dozens of Russian military vehicles assembled at the Port of Tartus. Russia is adopting this tentative posture and withdrawing some assets on the chance that HTS decides to deny Russia a continued military presence in Syria.’

Or not really…..

Putin is a totalitarian dictator with the blood of Russian journalists, opposition leaders and that of a British citizen on British soil, on his hands.

His delusions of empire have caused more death and destruction, human misery, than any other leader in this century.

He is also remarkably stupid.

The U.S. strategy of weakening Russia has been more successful than anyone could have possibly imagined on Putin’s watch. That is a direct consequence of Putin’s blunders, the endemic corruption within the Kremlin that he has encouraged for his own enrichment.

You could say the same for Gadaffi, but look at the mess the West had made from his removal. That was probably more to do with his economic plans and exit from the dollar. Just like with Russia, it’s never about what they say it’s about. As for Nazis, if that was the real reason you’d have thought he would start a campaign against them starting in Russia.

British Military Academies also advocate washing one’s hands after using the toilet.

Great piece. But not too shocking. All the “fact checking” bodies present themselves as being independent, but they’re all funded by the same funders of establishment media, are linked to establishment media and have been shown to be part of an operation to protect establishment media from the growing competition in social media and the internet.

The battle to control our minds is relentless.

LBC is owned by Global. That’s probably after Maajid Nawas talked about the Great Reset & the early Yellow Card warnings with the jab, he was removed.

But I’m sure they would want to preserve trial by jury like most on here. One of JSO defended the long established right to trial by peers in an interview with the BBC. He pointed to a plaque on the wall mentioning this is a Common Law country. A stopped clock can be right twice per day.

The deep state globalists behind it again.
Brexit was the ideal schism for maggots like these to exploit.
There are numerous institutions, like HIGNFY, that know they keep the gig as long as they keep slagging anyone associated with Brexit.
The Liz Truss theory has been debunked. It was the BoE and their negligent handling of the LDI that caused the gilt spike. But the deep state media rallied round to smear LizTruss

Best not to acknowledge the gender of the above mentioned people in the article, or who was the then PM, either. For, as we all know, had women been banned from voting none of this would have been able to happen. After all, men behaving badly and making a hash of things left, right and centre, is all the fault of women, according to some. Right?🤷‍♀️

Four Lions was a good British comedy by Chris Morris, wonder if they’d make a film like that again with the emerging blasphemy laws through the back door.

Climate Change is the most bizarre of all Political Dogma’s. It is the Octopus of Politics. It can change into any shape, size or colour. No matter what government want to do they can justify it by spouting “Climate Change” as the excuse. They require no evidence, all they do is say the magic words that used to be abracadabra but now is “Climate Change”.

They were at it again this morning in the BBC. It was Polar Bears this time, and ‘climate change’ has destructed their habitat. They are probably focusing on a limited area for a start.

They also probably forgot to say that Polar Bear numbers have increased 5-fold since the fifties.

Activism no doubt pays well. Pick a cause and watch the money roll in. Never work a day in your life but get executive level incomes from your taxes. There is a whole class of elite grifters like this all helping each other to keep this gig going. We need more Charlotte Gills to expose the corruption and where your taxes are going. Lax charity rules and poor regulation allows this. It will not stop until the free money stops.
