Rachel from Accounts strikes again! Businesses are cutting jobs at the fastest pace in four years following Labour’s record tax-raising Budget, as (actual) economists warn of the rising risk of recession. The Telegraph has more.
A closely-watched survey showed bosses are preparing for “worse to come” in the new year amid a “triple whammy of gloomy news” that has seen growth grind to a halt and price rises gather pace.
Economists said companies were responding to the Chancellor’s £40 billion tax rise with a marked pull-back in hiring. Excluding the Covid pandemic, it was the fastest pace of job shedding since the global financial crisis in 2009.
While S&P Global’s latest barometer of private sector activity showed output barely grew in December at 50.5, just above the 50 level that divides growth from contraction, Chris Williamson, the Chief Business Economist at S&P Global Intelligence, said the economy was stagnating.
He said: “Economic growth momentum has been lost since the robust expansion seen earlier in the year, as businesses and households have responded negatively to the new Labour Government’s downbeat rhetoric and policies.
“Business confidence has sunk to a two-year low as companies weigh up a tougher outlook for sales alongside rising costs, notably for staff as a result of changes announced in the Budget.”
Mr. Williamson added: “Firms are responding to the increase in National Insurance contributions and new regulations around staffing with a marked pull-back in hiring.”

Menstrual cycles in women using contraception (presume they mean hormonal contraception ie the combined pill) are not menstrual cycles: the “period” is a progesterone withdrawal bleed in the non-pill week. There is no ovulation, therefore no menstrual cycle. The minipill is progesterone only so works slightly differently, it doesn’t stop ovulation so presumably there is some sort of bleed but will be modified by the constant taking of progesterone. Some interuterine devices also have a hormonal release, and the implant under the skin is another way of providing hormonal contraception. All methods work in different ways. The daily mail report explains none of these fundamental points, therefore adds nothing to any debate. Women are generally ignored by doctors when they report symptoms in any case, far easier to dismiss them as stupid women.

It will be at least 3-5 years before we have a solid picture of vaccine effectiveness and true risk. I guess that is why they call it emergency authorization. But anyone who looks at the data both on vaccine risk and Covid risk (with the IFR down below .2) isn’t unreasonable at saying “I’ll wait.” I back my recently turned 18 year old son in saying a hard pass, especially since he along with the rest of us had Covid in Spring 2020. He’s getting pressure at school as they are doing another vaccine drive, fortunately he’s doing A Level statistics and showed his instructor a nice table and graph comparing relative risks.
In a free and healthy society we wouldn’t need to have these discussions on the back pages of a website but in the media and over data not emotion (as seen from far too many “absolute good” vaccine-backing politicians. No matter how one feels about vaccines, the available data on both risks and now known limited efficacy should make talk of mandatory vaccines verboten. Sadly, we aren’t there. Fear and control are always more powerful than reasoned fact-based debate and personal choice.
Think we’ve passed the informed consent point, it’s clear these pharmaceuticals are dangerous to health & should be withdrawn.
I don’t know what’s happened to medical ethics & professionalism (well I do) but cost/benefit risk assessment doesn’t apply to killing people, one vaccine death is too many.

The MSM and opinion chain aren’t run by those who want their audience to think straight, to be serious in how they use concepts such as “definition” and “inference”.
A clear example of this is the word “Covid”. What does it mean? Listen to government ministers and senior health officials let alone local-yokel health board types, and they let you think it’s a virus (it isn’t), or that it’s a problem you necessarily have if you have a positive SARSCoV2 test and you’re ill or in hospital, or it’s what a person must have died of if something about a “coronavirus” is written somewhere on the death certificate. Yet it’s common for people to talk about someone “having Covid” even if the person hasn’t got pneumonia! I mean seriously – get a clue!
“Covid-19” is a medic-defined disease marked by a type of pneumonia (diffuse and double) when it is present in a person who has a SARSCoV2 infection. It used to be called NCIP (Novel Coronavirus-Infected Pneumonia) but the WHO knows about propaganda and changed the presentation. Oceania has of course always been at war with Eurasia and was never at war with Eastasia.
Another example is the use of the word “medical”. Probably less than 0.1% of people have ever thought about this word, and about how they are going to use it in their lives in an intellectually honest way.
The word “medical” can’t be defined by what’s happening in your body and how you’re feeling, the way a word such as “illness” can.
What the word “medical” connotes is what licensed medics are insured to do, which of course doesn’t include anything that brings their fraternity into disrepute and thereby damages the fraternity’s financial interests.
It’s driven me mad that first Johnson on his original scare poster, and then all supermarkets in the country, used the term “Coronavirus.”. Anyone who bothered to look the word up on Wikipedia would have discovered there were five categories of coronavirus, probably with hundreds of substrains, some of which were responsible for one in seven colds; then there were about three serious ones that had died out. Oh, and Sars2, that was supposed to be omnipresent everywhere. That left the nearly the entire country in an insane panic about any symptom of the common cold they happened to develop.
Remember that most politicians have no scientific background let alone medical. It is Society’s compliance which has permitted these buffoons, along with the equally inept media journalists to stand omnipotent. Control of the propaganda has been the absolute – text book 1984. Hope we can construct a different enduring.
Even if a politician has some scientific training, to become accepted as a prospective candidate by any of the parties now represented in today’s Parliament, they will all have had to swear to obey the instructions they will receive from the party’s whips’ office. Sure, there are some “SARS”, but with a large majority of people, it’s another coronavirus related illness. If they’d used a different nomenclature, along the lines of 229E, HKU-1 and so on, the political reaction might have been different.

Another good thing to do is to encourage people to get hold of their medical records (from both GPs and hospitals) to understand just what a bunch of liars medics are. Medics are if anything worse than estate agents. They lie all the time.
A typical lie is when a specialist writes to a GP saying the possibility of X should be discussed with the patient. This is code. It means “I’m covering my arse – make sure you don’t mention this to the patient”. It will be something the patient probably never even hears about.
But see what they did there? The paperwork shows that the specialist asked the GP to discuss it with the patient, and the GP’s own note will say that that’s what they did. About 0.00001% of patients will kick up a fuss about it at some point in the future – which of course they can only do if they find out about it – and the GP will simply say that their notes show they mentioned it to the patient. The implication is that the patient is a lazy sod who didn’t bother thinking about what the “professional” told them. Damned patients – always whingeing. If it’s not this, it’s that. It’s essentially the same as how scumbag landlords view their tenants. GPs don’t like ill people. They don’t like anything that doesn’t increase the amount of money they stuff in their pockets, assets they accrue, and luxury consumption they take part in.

I don’t think it’s exaggerating to say that Americans with your sensibilities – and your constitution – might be the only thing standing between all of us and the oncoming dystopia.
I wonder whether all of us, worldwide, need to form a block with a single voice. All of the past political identities and ideologies seem moot at this point; this is just about the right to exist and be a free human being. That’s what we’re fighting for now. I’m not on social media, can’t access Telegram, haven’t got a smart phone. But I’ve been going regularly to my local Stand for the last six months. I’ve actually got to know a core group, and we’ve swapped phone numbers, email addresses, and we meet up elsewhere. We’ve really got to know one another and we’ve learned to trust each other so we can work together. It’s been truly wonderful to connect with like minded people and make new friends. We’re also connecting with other groups in the adjoining town. It definitely can be done!

Yes, I saw it, many thanks. It wouldn’t let me reply back (but I think I’m being a bit thick…hence my inability with social media and tech in general!) I’m in full agreement with you. I will try and reply personally (when I work out how it works) but I’m all for breakaway groups, doing whatever they can to stay independent and connected, whether they meet in person or not. In fact, I think its going to be vital! Email is something I’m totally on board with too. I have some mobility issues so I’m restricted at times with what I can do. I even try to encourage people to connect by good old dog and bone, and even grapevine – my nan knew everyone’s business back in the day, no problem!

Governments might persuade a few vaccine sceptics if they attempted to engage with them, such as saying “compare risk of vx with risk of covid”. But we can see why they’re not doing so: they would have admit that the vx has a risk, which they’re flat-out denying. All they are saying to get people on side is “vaccines are safe, non-vxers will kill granny, end of story, we never lie, next slide please”.

When I first heard that these vaccines were starting to cause reproductive/menstrual problems, I headed off over to MumsNet (not my usual hang out place) to get some lowdown. Obviously most were oblivious to the potential side effects, and apart from a few well informed souls, nearly all were excited to bits to get them. But there were a number of threads with probably a couple hundred comments from women who were very concerned that things were “not right” and nearly all had made the link to the vaccine they’d recently taken. By its very nature the site is geared to women who are planning or have had children. Many concerned were trying to get pregnant. Some were pregnant.

I think comparing the “never vaxed” to the “at least once vaxed” gives a much better idea of the effectiveness (and safety) of the vaccination than comparing “fully vaxed” to “not fully vaxed”, which is what the authorities and vaccine zealots like to do.
Of course the zealots will point to the unvaccinated generally being younger than the vaccinated per 100,000 so we would expect lower mortality in the unvaccinated.
But that then does rather emphasise the point that there is little reason for the unvaccinated to accept the risk of the vaccine. And it is becoming less true over time as more and more younger people get the vaccine.
you do also need to take account of the “unvaccinated vaccinated” who got jabs but died under 28 days.

Yes, it does. It includes 3 categories: “Within 21 days of first dose”, “21 days or more after first dose”, “Second dose”. That is, anyone who was interfered with by the vax at any time and in any way. So SMC has it right.
For further clarification of how the narrative is spun, I have attached a group of 3 charts. The first is all deaths (as SMC), the second is covid deaths, the third is non-covid deaths. They are all for the 10-59 age group.
Now you see that the covid deaths for the jabbed are twice as much. A ‘pandemic of the vaccinated’ shouts the government and state media! No! The arbitrary PCR tests makes it look that way.
If they insist that the PCR test has any validity, they must explain the increase in non-covid deaths for the jabbed. These are running at between 2 and 3 times more. And this is just the rate of deaths – not the totals. In the last week of data, there were 62 so-called covid deaths out of a total of 506. So if the jab is saving covid deaths, it is causing 8x more deaths from other causes.
Basically, they can try presenting their data any way they like to argue for the jab, but that will be at the expense of another counter-argument.
Yes, this chart is most important. It is possible to produce charts in line with the narrative that show that the rate of covid deaths are higher in the unvaccinated. But such charts are based on the useless PCR test and are utterly meaningless.
Overall deaths is the best way to get an overview, bearing in mind any difference in ages.
As far as the Government is concerned “following the science” doesn’t apply to experimental jabs which are linked to, or causing, large numbers of deaths and injuries.

I have seen a number of reports regarding post menopausal women and even little girls bleeding irregularly.Based on the sheer number of these reports across different countries and platforms, I would be inclined to agree.
I am not a woman so I cannot imagine how frightening these experiences must be.

Booster doses. Accordng to MHRA, the rate of reports submitted after boosters is currently about 1/30 of those submitted from jabs 1 and 2. I find that hard to believe.
When I asked MHRA if the adverse reactions from boosters is included in the Yellow Card Reports, they said yes (wow, I got an email from them!). If it were not for the ‘fact’ that the boosters are so low on submitted reports, I would have had to rework the the overall risks from these jabs. But it is not worth the hassle for just a 3% variation.
I have also asked the MHRA for the fatalities from the boosters – which they must have if they count the reports separately. So I am waiting to hear …
I spotted on recent UK Column coverage … from a few days ago … that UK Yellow Card fatality reports (per 100,000 people) are significantly lower than for either US VAERS or the EU’s system.
VAERS seems to have been designed to be as accurate as reasonably possible, although it seems that even now not all doctors use it. Making it a federal crime to fill it in incorrectly seems like a precaution against people playing the system.

Yes, that is in the stats I posted in this thread. The Yellow Card Reports are more easily ‘tinkerable’ because they are not proper databases. The Acrobat files do not always add up correctly and information is sparse. From week to week, there can be several fatalities removed from the cumulative totals, without explanation.
The EudraVigilance databases show that 47% of all adverse reactions are serious. The Yellow Card Reports need medical knowledge and guesswork to distinguish what is and is not serious. However, what is serious is the subcategories ‘Death’ and ‘Sudden death’ coming under the category ‘General disorders’. They amount to 556 out of 1,784 deaths. There is no description, explanation or investigation.
So-called ‘General disorders’ are high on the list in Europe as well. This bloody spike protein and the other toxins seem to be able to strike anywhere in the body – and it is never investigated.
I wouldn’t trust British crats as far as I could fling them. When it comes to twisting the truth the Brits taught the world the tricks of the trade. Don’t feel particularly good about saying that because I’m a Brit myself..

ITEM: DAEN Australia – the equivalent of the Yellow Card reporting system – has logged (up to November 10th) 80,966 reports of adverse events, including 656 deaths.

Caldronpool posted a screenshot from the DAEN website of the Australian government’s Therapeutic Goods Administration showing around 800 adverse event reports for the Covid vaccines for Australian children aged 15 years and younger in the six weeks to November 11th and it has been censored, branded as ‘misleading’ with replies, shares and likes disabled. So, the government’s own data, from their own website, unedited, unaccompanied by comment, has thus been branded as ‘misinformation’ by the social media giant.
Eight hundred kids being harmed in the short-term in just over one month (lord knows, how many long-term casualties there might be) is something that must really be worrying the authorities (Australians tend to have fond regard for their kids). I’ll give you one. Those data…how do the risks of those covid related side effects pan out by age? and those of the vaccine?
If it’s 85 year olds having heart attacks and so on from covid, while those from the vaccine are spread more evenly across the population, then the mass vaccination campaign is insane. A 25 year old is worth more to society than an 85 year old. Sorry if that offends your world view, but it needs to be said.
At no point does anyone advocating these vaccines seem willing to share risks of vaccination by even age (to name one obvious risk factor), against those from covid. I’ve seen it for myocarditis in the young – which showed by some margin that the vaccines were more dangerous – but nothing else.
To not share these data, which they MUST have, is disingenuous to the point of dishonesty. Why? If the data were compelling, I’d consider a vaccine. But I need to see them. I have not seen anything that would allow me to calculate MY risk – which would involve data broken down by age,sex, BMI, and comorbidities.
Why do people keep pushing the narrative that the death rate among the vaccinated is greater than among the unvaccinated is alleged ‘proof’ that the vaccines ‘don’t work’ ?
The phenomenon is simply a result of the vaccination rate and an imperfect vaccine. Imperfect doesn’t mean useless unless you live in UtopiaLand.
Imagine a population where everyone was vaccinated. Where do you think the deaths would occur ? The same thing happens as the proportion of vaccinated increases.
THat doesn’t make sense. If it is the death RATE we are talking about (as you state) then the fact that the vaccination rate is high is irrelevant. The numbers are already taken into account.
As it happens, I don’t think the death RATE from COVID is higher in the vaccinated.
However, I am a lot less sure about all cause mortality. The Pfizer Ph3 study showed a 23.5% higher death rate in the vaccinated than the unvaccinated (21 vs 17). COVID is not the only way to die, no matter what the press may have you believe.

1 in 138 get adverse reaction. Bet that’s worse odds than getting seriously with Covid. Some time ago I calculated (using that Oxford calculator) that I had a 1 in 2400 chance of being hospitalised with Covid.
My stat was 1 in 3300.
And in the event, it was zero as it was a complete nothingburger.
I heard today that my son’s maths teacher went to hospital with it when they all caught it the other week. He’s back at work looking hearty as usual today though. I just saw him.
On the other hand, my friend told me yesterday that her SIL had a PE combined with petechiae 4 days after her AZ , which sure sounds like VITT to me (the nurses apparently said they were seeing a lot of it).
