Is it a Crime to Tell the Truth? If You Live in Britain, and That Truth Will Damage “Community Relations”, the Answer Seems to be Yes

by Laurie Wastell
9 December 2024 7:00 AM

Another week, and another person has been convicted for posting something online during the disorder this summer. This time it’s Derek Heggie, a boxer turned actor and podcast host from Carlisle. In two YouTube videos posted between August 2nd and 8th, Heggie was alleged to have made “grossly offensive” online comments, including saying that “young white girls are being raped by these grooming gangs that worship the Prophet Muhammad”. He admitted to posting these comments “with intent to cause distress and anxiety” at Carlisle Crown Court. He had initially pleaded not guilty, but being held on remand for four months – since August 8th – seems to have changed his mind. He will be sentenced this week.

Whatever else it may have been, it must be noted that this comment of Heggie’s is undeniably true. In the decades-long horror of the grooming gangs scandal, thousands of white, working-class girls have been groomed, abused and raped, largely across the post-industrial north of England, by Pakistani-Muslim men. There was indeed a racial angle. Charlie Peters, who has reported on this tirelessly, notes: “Through the countless testimonies that I’ve heard, I’m convinced that the national grooming gangs story was a race hate scandal, perpetrated mostly by Pakistani men who saw white children as legitimate and ‘easy’ targets for abuse.” And worst of all, says Maggie Oliver, a police whistleblower who has done much to expose this story, the abuse is likely still ongoing. “We’ve been approached by 60 victims in the last three days who are currently being failed by the police,” she said last year. “It is not a historical problem.”

On remand for four months for pleading not guilty. Basically, Starmer has sentenced anyone off message to jail time whether guilty or not. Unless of course you are a labour councilor. Not sure what is worse. That it is happening or that good people are allowing it to continue.

I no longer believe that this self-destruction will be stopped by politicians. I believe it will only be stopped by hue and cry and pitchforks.

Whilst remand is necessary for dangerous criminals to protect the Public, it is being severely abused by the Courts. I presume that suitable compensation can be paid if the “criminal” is found not guilty? The cost to most citizens would be huge, probably loss of job, loss of pay, loss of savings to support family etc, and it seems for posting on X? Someone (Stalin?) is making even more of an ass of the law than normal.

It is Starmer who should be gaoled with all the other criminals in his gang who have stolen control of our country in our rigged two-party election system. They defeated democracy with the interests of those denied a democratic voice when they vote in a multi-party elections for other parties.

Louise Haigh resigned from the Cabinet as she is a convicted fraudster.

But she is not the only criminal to have served in Starmer’s cabinet.

Lying on your CV is a criminal offence as it is an attempt to obtain pecuniary advantage by deception. So IMHO Rachel Thieves is not merely a liar but a criminal.

Rachel Thieves is now a proven liar claiming to have been a Bank of England economist, an economist at the British Embassy in Washington DC and latterly at Halifax Bank of Scotland.

She got elected and the salary to go with it based on a lie of being a Bank of England economist etc when she never was. She then got the Chancellor’s job and the salary to go with it based on that same lie.

And of course Labour got elected based on the lie that their Shadow Chancellor and now their Chancellor was a Bank of England economist when she never was.

We have the craziness and lunacy of Ed Minibrain’s climate dogma pushing poor people further into poverty with massive energy bills.

We have the diplomatic ‘skills’ of David Lame-Brain and his fascist East-African dictator-style of Colonial Imperialism to deprive the Chagocians of their homeland forever and remarkable diplomacy with his remarks about US President Trump.

Indeed but it’s only certain “communities” whose relations are protected. “Damaging relations” with the White British or wider White community is just fine.

I’ll be honest, the great Billy Connolly sums up my sentiments to it all here. If there were one phrase that encapsulates all of the current BS being thrown our way it is this. Thanks Billy;

There is no freedom of speech in the UK.
It was already being eroded before the Covid crisis and at that point it ended.
The entire educational system, the mainstream media, the police and the judiciary are in the grips of a woke marxo-fascist ideology.
Apart from a few marginal forums like the DS, there is nothing left.
It’s really as simple as that.

Freedom of Speech; interestingly you can hear much more extreme views than these being spoken in club, pubs and even the village coffee morning but nobody bothers too much because these are spoken words heard by a few and quickly forgotten.
It is when these views are written down and published that the trouble starts, the views are still there but TPTB are offended when they actually read them in written form. They then seem to apply a judgement based on their opinion as to the likely effect of publishing those words on line, it is an entirely subjective form of justice and one where it is then hard to mount a defence, as it is all a matter of opinion. This is not justice it is repression.

To answer the question whether freedom of speech exists in the UK, let’s see if the following statement could be published in the mainstream media:
In the last millennium, the achievements of the white, European, Christian culture were superior in comparison to all others. We white Europeans should be proud of our heritage.

All this seems not to be allowed because of the fantastic story of the industrial revolution in Africa. Very peculiar. Nothing is left of this history, unlike in Britain, with sites like Ironbridge, and museums everywhere. Truth and proof are no longer part of the modern psyche.

Dings, the Khant would most certainly disagree with you there. I’m just amazed he’s got the comments on under his post because he’s getting absolutely roasted here;

”The Windrush Line.

Isn’t it bloody tedious when you’re rewarded for not having white skin. No other reason. You don’t have to do anything, you just get recognition. Even if you cause practically all the crime and mayhem in the capital, you still get recognition.

The comments speak of a sheer loathing for this nonsense. Have a read.”

https://x.com/KiszelyPhilip/status/1865899406987579800

Examples;

”Absurd, virtue signalling nonsense. How about a “Record Knife Crime” line? Or an “I charge working class drivers £12.50 a day to go to work” line?”

”Greatest city in the world?

It’s a third world shit hole.

One rape reported every hour

Knife crime through the roof

Gun crime climbing

Gangs and no go areas

There is no other way to put this, London has been ruined by you @SadiqKhan”

”Have they been named…
Stab Line.
Rape Line.
Jihadi Line.
No White Lines & Trans Express?”

”We need to rename one after you, but the Moderators wouldn’t like it
in a website which can be read by all ages!”

Reason 1729 why I hate the police. We already know this but it serves as a reminder, and yes, it evidently is a crime nowadays to tell the truth;

”Girls were “left at the mercy” of paedophile grooming gangs for years in Rochdale because of failings by senior police and council bosses, a report has said.
The damning 173-page review covers 2004 to 2013 and sets out multiple failed investigations by Greater Manchester Police (GMP) and apparent local authority indifference to the plight of hundreds of youngsters, mainly white girls from poor backgrounds, all identified as potential victims of abuse in Rochdale by Asian men.

Malcolm Newsam, co-author of the report, said: “Successive police operations were launched over this period, but these were insufficiently resourced to match the scale of the widespread organised exploitation within the area.
“Consequently, children were left at risk and many of their abusers to this day have not been apprehended.”

The report identifies 96 men still deemed a potential risk to children, but says this is “only a proportion” of the numbers involved in the abuse.
In a press conference on Monday, GMP apologised for its failures, as Chief Constable Stephen Watson said: “One of the primary responsibilities of the police is to protect the vulnerable from the cruel and predatory, and in this regard, we failed you.
“It remains, of course, a source of profound regret that we cannot turn back the clock”. He added: “We remain determined to do all that we can to bring offenders to justice.”

The report said Ms Rowbotham, co-ordinator of the Crisis Intervention Team set up to support young people in Rochdale, and former GMP detective Maggie Oliver, who resigned from the force in disgust, were “lone voices” who had flagged the clear evidence of “prolific serial rape of countless children in Rochdale”.
The report states there was “compelling evidence” of widespread, organised sexual abuse of children in Rochdale from as early as 2004 onwards, citing multiple reports of the involvement of groups of Asian men.
But children’s unwillingness to make a formal complaint was repeatedly used as an excuse for not investigating.”

As the issues arising from mass immigration, simplistic identity politics, and suppression of free speech keep rising, the reaction of the government and our institutions has been to double down on the above forces. We are in an era where the establishment is using considerable fear and force to suppress the masses. This is counterproductive and is not going to end well. It serves only to further increase distrust, societal tensions and unrest. Such forces cannot be suppressed by locking people up.

They will have a go…China is their goal and they have an iron grip there with just a blimp in 21/22 when they almost starved people in their homes with a virus with a 99.97 recovery rate. Only then did the Western MSM claim how brave they were rejecting the Covid pseudo-science, strange world.

In the bad old mediaeval days of 1275, prison forte et dure was imposed on those accused who, by refusing to plead, avoided the common law courts.

In our enlightened times, it is imposed to force those pleading not guilty to convict themselves. Where is habeas corpus when you need it?

I am sorry to repeat this again but let us remember that Labour have been in office for only five monthe. However dreadful they may be (and they are) they did not engineer this situation. It may have begun before Cameron-Clegg fook office but it was during the following 14 years the rot became established and spread.

If any of these matters originated before 2010 they were introduced with no oposition from the Tories or LibDems.

We have to accept, I think, that our Establishment is decadent and increasingly stupid and incompetent.

For example, as a short-term policy it seems to make sense for the Establishment to make pointing out the truth a criminal offence. However, the criminalisation of the truth also draws attention to the Establishment’s actual intentions. Everyone can now see that these intentions are nothing to do with “multiculturalism” or “diversity”. They are about the abolition of the English people, and the replacement of the English people with a different people.

Unfortunately for the Establishment, by making telling the truth a criminal offence it puts our society into a extremely dangerous situation – because it means that if people cannot speak the truth then violence becomes their only option.

He had initially pleaded not guilty, but being held on remand for four months – since August 8th – seems to have changed his mind. He will be sentenced this week.

This is the textbook method of preparing for a show trial, as originally invented in Stalinist Russia: Arrest people using some pretext. Keep ‘working’ them while they’re in jail until they ‘agree’ to cooperate with the authorities and publically confess to have committed whatever crimes were chosen for them.

So, with Melia, a sensitive social climate is an aggravating factor but when people write about genocidal Jewish supremacists, they’re not even charged because feelings were running high [at that time] which is basically the same as sensitive social climate: Depending on who you are, it can thus either aggravating or mitigating. But there’s no two-tier justice in Britain. No, no, no, this cannot be¹!

¹ Insofar the world-view of the socio-political establishment goes, there obviously isn’t: Melia was rightfully found guilty as dangerous right-wing extremist and the people who went free despite acting in a virtually identical fashion obviously weren’t. People just mistakenly believe this to be a two-tier system because they don’t understand that it’s fundamentally political and the letter of the law just an instrument that’s wielded (or not) for consistently punishing political wrong-ness and not punishing political right-ness.

The people executing this in all likeliness really believe in it.

The names of these judges need to be remembered. I don’t think if I was this guy I’d resist shouting some home truths at that judge for his obvious bias and neoliberal capture. The law is meant to be blind like lady justice. It reminds me of that Metallica tune ‘And justice for all’……The ultimate in vanity, exploiting their supremacy, can’t believe the things you say, I can’t believe the price you pay. Justice is lost, justice is raped, justice is gone.

I don’t understand how it can be legal for politicians to kidnap citizens and hold them captive under mental torture for imaginary crimes until they make a False Confession, so that the politicians can then pretend to “legally” hold the captives in prison under mental torture for even longer. How is this “Remand” different from any mafia or terrorist gang kidnapping hostages for ransom?

The Magna Carta of 1215 specifically forbids it:

Clause 39: “No free man shall be seized or imprisoned, or stripped of his rights or possessions, or outlawed or exiled, or deprived of his standing in any way, nor will we proceed with force against him, or send others to do so, except by THE LAWFUL JUDGMENT OF HIS EQUALS, or by the LAW OF THE LAND.”

It is a crime to be a man and everything follows from that. Sure it is you have to walk around with your mouth zipped up and your testicles dysfunctional. Any government or healthy state shoud welcome male energy and aggression and then through its appreciation find healthy modes of expression. You have nothing left save your eyes to cry with. He got pissed off with remand and changed his tune for the sake of being granted mercy. Not a good look.

When a certain Mr T R was sentenced for continuing to air his documentary Silenced I wondered why someone would be willing to go to jail for saying something that was not true. So I watched it.An absolute revelation about the Police, Judges and Politicians. I thought the post office scandal was bad but this is orders of magnitude greater.
