NHS X-ray operators are now asking men if they are pregnant, thanks to new inclusivity rules. The Telegraph has the story.
The guidance was written after an incident in which a trans man who was unknowingly pregnant had a CT scan, and tells staff to be inclusive of transgender, non-binary and intersex patients by not making assumptions about people.
The radiation from X-ray, CT and MRI scans, as well as cancer treatments, can be dangerous to unborn babies, but forms designed to be inclusive have caused confusion and anger among patients and pose a risk to their safety, according to NHS staff.
Radiographers told this publication the measures had left men storming out of appointments and women in tears because of “invasive” fertility questions. They say patients are being asked to fill out pregnancy forms stating their sex at birth, preferred name and pronouns, and read “ridiculous” statements about people who are born with variations in sex characteristics.
Campaigners said the practice was “humiliating” for patients and called on NHS trusts to “return to common sense”.
One radiographer claimed a man on a two-week urgent cancer pathway “was so annoyed by the questions on the form, he shouted, he left the department and didn’t actually have a scan”.
“There is an unnecessary risk for these patients if they do get so annoyed and don’t have the scan.”
In another example, an inpatient requiring daily scans for a week after oesophageal surgery had “a sense of doubt” instilled by being asked daily whether he was a man at the radiology department.
Women have been left in tears by questions about their fertility, including having to explain why they could not be pregnant, while patients of all backgrounds have been affronted or embarrassed by the suggestion that their sex was not obvious, staff say.
“We’ve had women who have had terrible miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies, and we’re reminding them of that trauma,” a source said. “Instead of just asking ‘is there any chance you could be pregnant?’ and them choosing to say ‘no’, they’re now having to say, ‘I had two ectopic pregnancies, and I don’t have ovaries anymore’ and we then write that down.”

Why does everyone have to jump through these hoops instead just the woman taking testosterone because her partner likes shagging something bearded? When was the human right to force others to partake in one’s own sex-life role playing against their will created? And what’s going to come next? Telling gay men to find someone interested in flirting them becoming a hate crime?
I ask myself similar questions all the time.
Why does Headmaster Keir Stalin think he has the right to start treating the entire British population like potential rioters and criminals because a few hundred people riot?
I don’t understand why people put up with being treated like naughty schoolboys all the time.
I am confused regarding the “riots”. Were they any more “thuggish” than a losing football team “celebrating” by knocking over wheelie-bins and throwing flares? In any case, we were told that the police operation was successful in deterring civil war and was essential because “potential” rioters “might be triggered” by online rhetoric. So was there unrest or not? Numerically, the far bigger numbers were on the side of those parading identical, organic-sundried, laminated, perfectly-spelt, immaculate-typeset and artistically designed political memes downloaded from the same unimeme generator. The minority were holding sheets with felt-tip messages like “NO MOOR”. One might suspect that universities are on vacation and that the media are in the Silly Season. However, the media editors seemed to select the more photogenic and intoxicated “far-right thugs”. There is a civil war in the UK. However, it is not between races, religions or even (these days) classes; it is between the populace and the Government, or rather between the general public and the WEF/academic/Whitehall complex, channelled through ill-educated young puppet politicians.
I’m not sure I would call it a war but there’s a strong difference of opinion between restrictionists and people who think immigration is positive, which possibly falls largely along class lines- I’m middle class and most of my middle class acquaintances are not restrictionists and probably think I’m a horrible racist.
I don’t know exactly how much rioting there was or what the different rioters believed.
What I do know is that it was a tiny, minuscule, infinitesimally small proportion of rhe population.
And it’s outrageous that these people we vote into office use this spec in the ocean as an excuse to increase surveillance on all of us, change laws about free speech and generally addresses us all in an aggressive reprimanding tone, as if we were little children.
Who does Keir fucking Starmer think he is talking to us like that, threatening us?
I don’t give a shit what the rioters were rioting, who they hate, who they want to fight with.
Here is the proportion of the population that isn’t rioting or has ever rioted: 99.9999%
The fucking nerve. Just let police do their job and leave the rest of us alone.
Indeed, though I’m sure that Starmer is well aware that the “rioters” represent a tiny minority – his motivation is that he’s afraid of a national debate about immigration opening up.
That’s probably one consideration.
But rolling out new legislation and expanding surveillance doesn’t have much to do with the immigration debate.
It’s what technocrats and bureaucrats are always trying to do to get more power and control.
Lazy slobs like Johnson had to be pushed into taking advantage of those opportunities. The likes of Keir Starmer do it gladly and with relish.
Oh yes of course they always want more. But I do think that immigration is a big sensitive spot for them – that and “nationalism” in general. They know it gets the natives fired up, and they don’t want that. Some “riots” that they can “crack down on” are ideal, as long as everyone is clear who the “bad guys” are.
Apparently the requirement in the Civil Service to go to the office for 3/4 days a week has been suspended while the “riots” are a threat, because some staff felt unsafe.
Keir Starmer makes me feel unsafe.
I wonder if I can use that somehow.
Pay fewer taxes maybe… I feel unsafe putting my money in his hands
No one is safe until we’re all safe
NHS X-ray operators are now asking men if they are pregnant, thanks to new inclusivity rules.
The idea that pretending that men are women, and vice-versa, is “inclusivity” is part of the magical thinking of the modern “progressives”. In reality it is a product of the RDS – reality derangement syndrome – that has spread its poisonous tentacles into every institution. It’s one of the products of the civilisational decadence promoted by our degenerate ruling class, and is the herald of a new Dark Age – bearing in mind that intellectual dark ages always precede social and technological dark ages.
So now not only does Kier Starmer have trouble with identifying women… It would appear that now even trained medics are having trouble with that distinction. I can understand the reaction of people being required to navigate that kind of gobbledegook in forms they must fill in (often already going through stressful times because of health issues that brings them to the radiology department in the first place).
I can’t imagine it fills one with confidence that they are in capable hands when the doc asks a bloke if he’s pregnant.
So one mentally ill person is responsible for getting the whole NHS to change their guidance and dance to their tune? Christ on a stick, these are crazy times indeed. The part I don’t get is the person obviously got pregnant the old-fashioned way because they still have all of their ‘female equipment’ in situ, but whether they’d had their breasts removed or not, they’re identifying as a man. And they were feeling affronted because the staff didn’t ask if a ( presumably ) male-looking person might be pregnant, thereby enabling and validating their mentally ill delusional state further, because that would be dumb because everybody knows men can’t get pregnant, just like women can’t have penises. This is all very confusing to think about…..
So does the man who got this person pregnant just like having sex with women who identify as male ( there’s nowt queer as folk ) or perhaps they themselves are a woman with a penis? It’s exhausting, entering the mind of the chronically deranged…
Meanwhile, here’s a seabird that identifies as a snake;

But surely if you have the biological equipment of a woman, but identify as a Man, you should not be pregnant because the Male cannot have babies, so the fact that a Man claims to be pregnant this must be a lie, because if you are a Man you don’t become pregnant. It can’t be both ways, if you identify as a Man then you live as a Man, you cannot carry a baby but you can impregnate a female. Isn’t that the recognised truth now?
Likewise if you are bilogically a male, but are really a female in terms of how you identify yourself, then they should be asked if its possible they are pregnant, and likewise they as all women do they will want to have smears, mammograms, etc because thats what Women do. I really fail to understand why its so confusing. Just ask Keir and your GP they will explain it all.
I don’t understand why hospitals do not have access to NHS records of the person they are treating. I thought there was national compatibility.
A person who just says they are a man would be officially registered as female on their records since surely if they had a legal gender recognition certificate declaration as male, it would mean they couldn’t be pregnant due to surgery – or have I got that wrong?
OK they are asking these politically motivated questions, but if people refuse to participate in their absurdity do they refuse to carry out any procedures? Because that is what is the main concern. We must all be able to say “Skip all of that out please, as I will not be answering any of that stuff”, and then it must be the case that they accept this and just get on with their duties.
I will in future answer yes its possible, I suggest everyone does regardless of age and what is betweem their legs, Ask a silly question as the saying goes.
It is actually to protect the staff and clinic against any litigation arising from the X-ray Procedure. Women in their old age are also asked this question because there will be someone looking to make money from suing the NHS.
I was asked this on one of my rare visits to the horse-piddle (as my old East End Nan used to refer to them) and I said that I wouldn’t know ’til Tuesday. When the lemon-faced lady behind the desk told me not to be sarcastic I said that she had started it. And that’s when they called security …
Any medic who asks a man if they’re pregnant should be banned from practising medicine since they’ve failed “Biology for Dummies.”
Get over it. The “are you pregnant” question is not new and should not be the focus of the headline. [But the other stuff seems very very odd.]
The NHS cannot be expected to print one set of forms for men and separate forms for women with extra questions to do with “womens’ issues”.
But as I wrote – its the other stuff which seems a bit wokey wokey bonkers.
Someone suggested that every man asked this question should respond ‘ I am not sure…’, so they would have to do a pregnancy test.
Name the person who wrote the protocol + picture. They can’t hide behind ” the NHS”.
In our woke modern days the lowest common denominator always trumps the opposite. Eg one but allergic passenger can stop a plane of pax opening a packet of nuts!!! One citron oil allergic person can trigger the entire EU to ban the use of citron oil in perfumery!!! For goodness sake, does that person ever use lemon or orange?
eg one trans man can stop all men from having the freedom and the ignominy of being asked the most insulting question in public? Imagine someone asking King C if he’s pregnant the next time he goes a scan?
why does our society descend into this Dante inferno of absurdity? Why does our government (yes they do control the NHS!) allow this stupid rule to even be written? Who on earth would pass that? The entire organisation ? Not one objection?
