The UK was running at 60% self-sufficiency home production figure for most of the past two to three decades. It dropped to around 45% five years ago and this year (2024) that figure has fallen to just 32%.
The implications of this are serious indeed. A leading world nation-state relying on close to a 70% import position to feed a population of some sixty million is a massive no, no.
Add to this some six decades of government-backed agribusiness land management policies based on pharmaceutical inputs replacing soil nourishing crop rotations, farm yard manures and diverse mixed cropping regimes – and a huge crisis looms just around the corner.
The foods that appear in the nation’s supermarkets and hypermarkets all come from soil-deficient practices, whether home-produced or imported. Many also come from hydroponic systems that drip soluble nutrients into vast water containers in which the plants are grown. No soil is involved at all.
But it’s not just poor-quality vitamin-deficient foods that are degrading the health and welfare of consumers. Due to various purposefully inflated international conflicts and politically motivated power play using the fake green “zero carbon” agenda to divert resources away from agricultural production, major supermarket chains such as Tesco now hold 60% less reserve food in their systems than they did five years ago.
This translates into no more than a week or two of available food, should a crisis cause supplies to dry up.
And so on …
Farmers are now being paid to turn good agricultural land into wildflower meadows.
Well, why wouldn’t you when you can make more per acreage with no need for fertiliser, pesticides, fungicides, labour, or kit apart from to sow at the start and plough in at the end? No storage barns.
It’s a no-brainer as a business model.
Like they subsidised for hedges to be torn out and then subsidised for them to be replanted.

hux, you touched on this last night. I think this is a very reasonable working theory, and how long have we all been posting on here about how it’s always ”fighting age” men being brought over? One could also say ”working age”, to be fair, as no doubt a percentage are being used for cheap labour, but obviously not the illegals. Where’s the videos showing women and children coming on the boats? How many of these Muslims are natives, such as second or third generation migrants, and how many are newcomers?

What happened to the author, Alsu Kurmasheva, a 47-year-old mother of two and a journalist who put the book, ‘Saying No to War’ together?
Kurmasheva was first charged with failing to register as a “foreign agent” under a punitive Russian law that targets journalists, civil society activists, and others.

It was her mother’s ailing health that had prompted Kurmasheva’s decision to return to Russia in May 2023.
On July 19, the Supreme Court of Tatarstan found Kurmasheva guilty of disseminating “military fakes” and sentenced her to six and a half years in prison. The trial was limited to two court sessions and was held behind closed doors.
As the weeks turned into months, and as the outside temperatures dropped below freezing, Kurmasheva wrote about the harsh realities of prison life: the overcrowded cells, where new inmates could arrive in the middle of the night; the constant battle against the bitter cold.
Kurmasheva, a 47-year-old mother of two and a journalist for RFE/RL, spent 288 days in Russian detention before her release on August 1, as part of one of the largest prisoner swaps involving the United States and Russia since the end of the Cold War.

Another on a different site said that Rotherham locals attacked the immigrant hotel partly because gangs of up to 30 immigrants from that hotel had been prowling the streets ever since they moved in, sexually harassing, intimidating, shouting and spitting at local women and children. The cowardly Rwandan stabbing of 11 unarmed children and 2 adults in trying to protect them in Southport was the final straw for Rotherham. No media mention of the gangs of Fake Asylum Seekers harassing British women and children everywhere they are housed.
Nigel Farage has also neglected to mention any of this, before condemning the British protesters.

Stoke. Not where I live now, but that’s my neck of the woods. This was always f*ckin inevitable. So inevitable in fact that it cannot possibly be an accident. The establishment hate us and the police have abandoned us, I see little other option now than for a mass revolt. We’re damned if we do and damned if we don’t, and I’d prefer to go out on my shield than hiding behind a sofa hoping it’ll all magically sort itself out. And I don’t say those words lightly.

Lets take Rotherham as a case…. From the late 80s to 2013 the authorities (that not just the police but social workers etc al) turned a blind eye to the abuse of 1400 girls, and is the biggest child protection scandel in British history.
These sort of numbers meant that those families and extended families affected where colllosal within their communities.
As it transpires nothing has changed, the immigrants housed in their local Holiday Inn are reported to have been harassing young girls at local parks, following them at dark and verbally abusing them.
Is it to anyone’s surprise that things have come to ahead??
