The Left is Showing That it Will No Longer Tolerate Christianity

by Will Jones
13 May 2024 7:24 PM

Christians are now the most despised minority in Britain, says Tom Harris in the Telegraph, with the Left in particular showing itself unable to tolerate any Christian who actually believes in the teachings of his or her faith – an animus that oddly disappears where Islam is concerned. Here’s an excerpt.

The Liberal Democrats, for example, have tied themselves in knots, and even provoked a formal complaint to the Equality and Human Rights Commission, over local activists’ decision to remove David Campanale as its parliamentary candidate in Sutton and Cheam. His crime? He is a Christian. Worse than that: he is a Christian who actually believes in biblical teaching – an unforgivable sin for the Lib Dems.

Campanale is not the first to have suffered at the hands of illiberal members of his party. In 2019, former Labour MP, Rob Flello, was chosen as the LibDem candidate for as its parliamentary candidate for Stoke-on-Trent South, which he had represented as a Labour MP between 2005 and 2017. Within 36 hours he was deselected, his socially conservative views as a committed Roman Catholic having come to light.

Tim Farron, who made it all the way to the leadership of the Lib Dems, was hounded by the media – and resigned shortly after polling day – because he was an evangelical Christian. In Scotland, Deputy First Minister Kate Forbes has been criticised by many, including newspaper columnists and SNP activists, for belonging to the Free Presbyterian Church. As with Campanale, Flello and Farron, Forbes’s crime is not in being a Christian per se, but in being an evangelical Christian and publicly stating that she accepts biblical teaching.

But religious intolerance is not equally applied across the Left. When Mothin Ali won a council seat in Leeds as a Green Party candidate, he shouted “Allahu Akbar!”, proclaimed his victory a “win for the people of Gaza”, then described critics of this outburst as Islamophobic. It later emerged that he had claimed Israel had “control” of the mainstream media and had recorded himself chanting “from the river to the sea” at a pro-Gaza rally.

No one doubts that Councillor Ali sincerely believes in the teachings of Islam, yet no one has suggested that that faith’s condemnation of homosexuality should prevent him from representing the most Left wing – indeed, most “progressive” – party in the country. …

Muslim candidates and elected representatives… need make no excuses for their personal faith. To criticise a Muslim, or any other minority, for the illiberal tenets of their faith would be prejudicial. But Christians? They’re fair game.

Worth reading in full.

So this guy is officially awesome and clearly knows his stuff. All of this history should be taught in schools, but is it anymore? If only these Leftards didn’t choose to ignore history. ( <2mins )

”The crusades were organized in response to centuries of Muslim wars of expansion, aiming to reclaim control of the Holy Land, Jerusalem, and other territories considered sacred to Christianity. This was seen by many participants as a means of redemption and expiation for sins.

The crusades were also driven by the desire to conquer pagan areas and to recapture formerly Christian territories that had been lost to Muslim control.

Long story short, Islam was trying to take over the world and the crusades put a stop to it after around 200 years. But as the man in the video explains several Christian countries were taken over by Islamic forces, as they have always been instructed to settle in places, create communities, do what they can to revert people to Islam and if they do not they are seen as an enemy.

It is encouraged for Muslims to lie to anyone who is not Muslim, so be wary.”

You can better see this illustrated in this 2min clip. See the spread of Islam through Jihad, then talk about Israel and colonialism in the same sentence;

If you did wish to see the full presentation ( 1hr duration ) from that second link, you can access it below. It’s Dr Bill Warner from 9 years ago and is very interesting and informative. You can skip to the 5min mark, where he starts to his slides;

“Jihad begins with immigration” says Bill Warner.

Taking this at face value because the physicist is “not making this up”: the US and UK have non-Muslim governments that, through their actions, seem incapable of controlling immigration with concerns being raised about an Islamic takeover. Coincidentally, both governments are enthusiastically pro-Israel and very keen to quell anti-Semitism and criticism of Zionism. What should we make of that?

Long story short, Islam was trying to take over the world and the crusades put a stop to it after around 200 years.

Islam took over the world (at least the parts then known to us) up to Spain and from there, started an invasion of southern France which ended with them being defeated by Charles Martel in the battle of Tour in 732. Spain was gradually reconquered from 722 – 1492 which confined islamic expansion in the west to northern Africa.

In the east, the crusaders put a relatively short-lived dent into islamic territory which lasted for about 200 years (until 1291) before they were driven out again and the territory returned to islamic control. When Ottomans took over, they smashed the Byzantine empire and conquered all of the Balkan and parts of Hungary. Their expansion came to an end when they were beaten after the siege of Vienna in 1683. Austrian troops than gradually drove them back towards the south-east.

In the 19th century, Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania (re-)established themselves as independent states after successful uprisings against the ruling Turks. These were driven out of Europe (almost) during the first Balkan war 1912 – 1913.

The southern provinces of the Ottoman empire were conquered by English soldiers and their Arab allies in 1918. Minus the present-day country of Israel, muslims remained in control of all of these.

Mothin Ali thinks Israel has “control” of the mainstream media?

If they had “control” there would probably be evidence but I very much doubt there is. You don’t need control, just people who are aligned with the appropriate interests. DS isn’t mainstream media but through its article selection provides a good example of alignment.

Jewish-authored “Jewish Fundamentalism in Israel” by Shahak and Mezvinsky comments on the selective reporting of Israeli matters by international media and that was 20+ years ago.

The bible claims that God created man as “man and woman.” Publically claiming this in Scotland will probably be treated as transphobic hate crime should someone object to this. That should be enough to explain the situation.

On the basis that Islam is considered evil, Judaism considered vengeful and true Christianity promotes forgiveness: if anyone wanted to stimulate conflict, which religions would be promoted and which suppressed?

The Temple was a Slaughterhouse, where people offered living creatures as sacrifices to atone for their own sins, instead of repenting their sins and sinning no more. It is pointless to rebuild such a place awash with blood.

11
“To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.
12
When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
13
Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
14
Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
15
And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
16
Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil” Isaiah 1:11-16

Christianity promotes forgiveness ONLY if the trespasser REPENTS, as is stated again and again in the New Testament. Without true repentance, there can be no forgiveness, and no salvation.

“Lest ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” Luke 13:5

“Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.” Luke 17:3

And they went out, and preached that men should repent. Mark 6:12

To the so-called progessive left, everything but their own heritage is part of the interestingly exotic “other” and thus, always good. They’re really a strange kind of perverts as they hate everything which should be regarded as their own stuff and are madly in love with anything else. For normal people, this is exactly the other way round.

Yes there’s no need to stick an ‘ist’ or an ‘ism’ on the end, in my opinion. The problem is for sure political Islam. In the presentation above Dr Warner talks about ‘The Law of Islamic Saturation’, and this is what we’re currently experiencing. It took several centuries but Turkey went from 100% Christian to 99.7% Muslim, and it’s not like they even need to get anywhere near such a large majority before things start to get ugly and there’s a power shift. We don’t have the strong Christian armies and unified resistance to oppose the ongoing colonization of our lands, like centuries gone by though, however, the Muslims appear to be unchanged and are as united and focused on their objectives and are as fervent in their ideology as ever.

I agree that the problem is political Islam, but don’t know what non political Islam would look like. Islam makes no distinction between worldly and spiritual realms and the Koran is full of commandments to spread the faith through military conquest. This is obviously in stark contrast to Christianity and the injunction to render unto Caesar that which belongs to Caesar and to God that which belongs to God. I think it’s the case that European countries established empires for worldly gain and Christians took advantage of this to forcibly convert native populations where as Muslims established empires primarily to spread Islam.

It really took only a few years: At the end of the first world war, Greece made an attempt to reconquer Asia Minor but they got beaten by the Turks while the Western colonial powers (England and France) were watching from the sidelines. In the aftermath of this defeat, said Western colonial powers, Churchill being prominently in favour of this, arranged for the first large-scale ethnic cleansing in modern history: The Greeks who had been living in this area for more than 2000 years were forced to move to Greece and most of the Turks who had been living in the Balkan area for centuries were forced to move to Anatolia.

Timeo danae et dona ferentes is as applicable to so-called American ‘rightists’: They’re looking for oxen they can put in front of their carts. And in order to ensnare them, they’re telling lies. Often even lies they literally copied from their political opponents.

It was Christians that brought in anti-slavery laws while Islam fought to maintain slavery – and it is in Muslim countries where there is still slavery. Labour supports modern day slavery then?

As for the teachings of Islam mentioned by the author Tom Harris above, may I just point out a crucial fact:

Only the VICTIMS of sodomite rape are regarded by Islam as “homosexual”, and therefore eligible to be hurled off rooftops. The victims, including animals, are considered “guilty” for “tempting the innocent rapists”. So, for example, if a “guilty” goat “tempts” an innocent human rapist, the goat must be killed afterwards for its “crime”. The rapist is forbidden to eat the meat, however, and must sell it in the next town.

That is also why, when Muslim terror groups kidnap Christian villagers in Africa, the African males are savagely beaten, tortured and threatened with killing their whole family unless they submit to rape, forced to pull down their own trousers, so they can be condemned as “guilty” of “tempting the innocent rapists”, and therefore worthy of death.

This same principle is used generally in Islam for raped women, who are regarded as “guilty” of “tempting the innocent rapist(s)”, and therefore deserving of punishment, flogging or death.

That is so true. A very timely article. All our Equalities and Hate and Human Rights laws does not prevent Christians alone from being systematically and legally discrimitated against.
I’d like to see a Muslim arrested for silently praying outside a closed abortion clinic. Or Kate Forbes getting away with a single sex prayer meeting at Bute House as Humza Yousef did.
