I left teaching due to serious health issues, compounded by disgust at the blatant disregard for safeguarding and impartiality rules. The issue came to a focus when I was threatened with disciplinary action for saying men and women are biologically different and highlighting how wrong it was for teachers to claim otherwise.
For years I’d been fighting the open indoctrination of Left-liberal views in the classroom. No attempt is made by most teachers to show even a scintilla of even-handedness, with open competition to show who can be most ‘anti-Tory’ and ‘progressive’. Not to mention the blatantly absurd preaching of climate catastrophism.
I was happy to teach, fighting this, feeling that at least the environment wasn’t openly dangerous to pupils. But the trans movement and its activist targeting of schools changed all that – assisted by a recent cadre of woke teachers, incapable of independent thought and hostile to free speech.
To be fair, I had many decent and professional colleagues. I remember warning our excellent head when I left how there was a scandal ongoing in schools which would break very soon.
It’s broken. A teacher in Sussex is on record bullying two Year 8 pupils for disagreeing that a classmate could identify as a cat, simply by saying she is. The teacher claims they’re denying said Moggy’s identity!
She then describes one girl as “despicable” for believing that her own birth sex and gender are equivalent – and tells her to leave the school. The exchange is a disgrace and this woman shouldn’t be allowed in a classroom again. Doubtless she won’t even face censure.
Those marvellous girls are models of what pupils should be. It’s no surprise to hear the fear in the teacher’s voice. She’s incapable of dealing with their quiet dignity, resorting to bullying and personal insults, including of their parents.

The most astounding aspect is the teacher’s simultaneous claim that someone can identify as a cat, but it’s “a fact” that your birth sex and gender are unrelated – and no contrary opinion is allowed. She then gets the woke garbage wrong – shouting that there “is [sic] three genders”, whereas the woke claim is for an almost indefinite number.
Parents need to fight back. I know for a fact that openly dangerous and manipulative material is being presented as factual, with no discussion allowed. A line has been crossed.
So it’s good to see the uproar over this teacher being found out; in fact, such bullying is very common in schools. As is the dogmatic incompetence of the teacher: “there is three genders” being a classic example.
I always knew that many pupils are like these wonderful girls, unwilling to be brainwashed and aware they have the right to speak freely. There is hope, which needs huge encouragement.
Many teachers will agree. They need to stand together on this and champion pupils. Ignore the Unions, who are the worst perpetrators and have no interest in pupil welfare – their entire concern is political activism.

She could’ve identified as a giraffe and insisted all the ceilings and doors were 13 feet high so she didn’t get a sore neck.

Gender theory is a set of speculations about human nature invented (as far as I know) by US social scientists. Its postulations are not facts, they’re axioms, something that’s believed to be true (by some people) despite there’s no way to determine if it is actually true. It’s also entirely appropriate to refer to them as articles of faith.

There are 2 genders. Period. The rest are mental illnesses.
There are three genders in German, männlich/ male, weiblich/ female and sächlich/ neutral and that’s the real meaning of gender: the gender of a noun in languages with gendered nouns. When applied to humans, it means whatever the people who invented to corresponding terminology want it to mean. It’s perfectly possible to define 6, 600 or 6000 human genders, there’s just no reason why anyone should have to care for that as its all just preaching and hot air.
Independently of that, individual specimen of sexually reproducing animals, including individual humans, are usually either male or female and whatever doesn’t fall into one of these two categories is technically an odd mutation. The mental illness starts at the point where questions like Do you identify with your body? are being asked in earnest. TS Eliot reportedly once defined reality as What doesn’t go away if you stop believing in it and a person’s body is a part of this reality one has to learn to live with because there’s simply no other choice.
NO! There are two SEXES!!! These people can dream up as many GENDERS as they like – it doesn’t matter – they’re the stuff of mental illness. ‘Gender’ loses meaning entirely when it’s understood as an infinitely variable social construct – an idea in the minds of people who need something to make themselves more substantial. You can lots of ideas but only one SEX! The confusion of these terms is what’s behind it all. By all means have 3, 10, 500 genders; ‘identify’ as a cat, a lamppost, a tadpole – this is what the notion of ‘gender’ so ridiculous. The only important factor is your SEX. There has to be return to this idea.
Gender theory was popularised by a fraud called John Money (fittingly) who sexually abused two twin boys, one of whom had had his penis burnt off in a botched circumcision. Money had him surgically altered to look like a girl. The ‘girl’ always instinctively wanted to pee standing up, to get involved with boys’ activities. Money lied and claimed that the ‘girl’ was living a happy, normal ‘girl’s’ life. His findings were accepted by the scientific community, which is too narcissistic to admit it was duped. Without Money’s influence, it’s unlikely we’d have this problem.
Money would take the brother and ‘sister’ to a room and watch them perform the sex acts on each other that he demanded. At the age of 14, the twins refused to attend anymore. The ‘girl’ went back to being a boy as much as possible. The brother was messed up by his experiences and died of a drug overdose. The boy who had been turned into a ‘girl’ went public about what happened – you can find the interview out there – then killed himself.
That’s where the modern transgender movement comes from: the abuse of two innocent boys by a charlatan pervert scientist. The entire movement is essentially about pedophiles in a variety of professions getting their joliies messing with children.

This may be the origin of the idea. But it has since taken on a life of its own. The important bit about it is to recognize that there’s no science here involved at all. What is particularly chilling is how low the threshold is for denying free speech, according to O’Reilly. It now appears that “deep discomfort” is enough:
“If a person’s views on other people’s identities make their lives unsafe and insecure, and cause them such deep discomfort that they cannot live in peace, our job as legislators is to restrict those freedoms for the common good.”

These people are not at all opposed to war. They’re just opposed to a culture which might one day require them to fight in one by not regarding it as shameful crime but ultimatively glorious violent contest of peoples/ states. In this case, this would be the European culture we inherited from antiquity.

I do know from communications I get from my Alma mater, a girls’ private school (where I went on a free place in the 70s), that it’s as woke as bejeezus.

Our present day society is very much the one that book opens with.
The teacher supports child abuse and belongs in jail. Less melodramatically, what strikes me more than anything is that the teacher is clearly thick. She spouts off woke rhetoric – ‘diversity, equity and inclusion’, ‘cis’ – like she’s learned it by rote and is unable to back up her claims with facts. ‘Intersex’ is not a third sex: it’s a woke term for some poor child that’s got a birth deformity such as testicular feminisation syndrome. From her voice, she’s extremely inarticulate – all dropped glottal stops. She’d have been told off for poor speech ability by my school teachers. She clearly has no critical faculties and is just a woke zombie who is run rings around by a pair of 13 year olds. This is what the profession has been reduced to. Hearing that teacher speak that way makes me really angry, actually.
Far too often these days I let the woke mob get to me and genuinely fear for our collective future. Hearing these kids stand up for themselves in a way I’d never have been able to imagine at their age makes me so hugely proud.
This nonsense all started with idiots like me who always “Yes, please!” next to Sex when filling in forms, leading to ignorant bureaucrats substituting Gender for sex.

The film is absolutely excellent because it shows that some children are brave enough to confront this idiocy. The teacher appears to be a bully with a very poor grasp of English grammar and no ability to debate intelligently with a polite acceptance of an alternative point of view. Not many children would have the courage to argue their point of view or have parents who have enabled them to do so.

Who remembers “Please Sir” with John Alderton? His pupils were always running rings round him and that was back in the day when the school leaving age was 15.
That disgraceful teacher and her Head-teacher who allowed (encouraged?) this kind of bullying propaganda to be taught, should be hauled up before a Parliamentary Committee to account for themselves.
But of course they won’t. It’s far more important for Parliamentary Committees to investigate ITV over Schofield and Johnson for basically admitting that he knew the Covid restrictions were completely unnecessary.
