  • “Expert urges masks on public transport amid fears over Arcturus Covid variant” – Despite evidence that community masking does not achieve an appreciable reduction in viral transmission, the Chair of Independent SAGE has encouraged people to wear face coverings on public transport, while conceding that the advice “may seem like a throwback to last year”, according to MailOnline.
  • “Another paper shows bivalent mRNA boosters are basically a marketing gimmick” – Added bonus, this one is from a study sponsored by the National Institutes of Health, says Alex Berenson.
  • “Net Zero Britain will be unable to keep the lights on, MPs warn” – The Business Select Committee said green power is unlikely to generate enough energy to run the country without radical reform, reports the Telegraph.
  • “Sorry, the battle is cancelled due to unforeseen lack of charging stations” – Igor Chudov points out some flaws in the idea – backed by U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm – that the U.S. military should adopt an EV fleet by 2030.  
  • “Sadiq Khan is accused of ‘covering up’ bus route cuts as he reveals maps for new ‘Superloop’ orbital network” – The Mayor’s ‘Superloop’ will be formed of ten express buses around the capital – four existing routes and six new – but ten other London routes will be either axed or amended, reports MailOnline.
  • “The climate scaremongers are telling us what to buy” – In increasingly Stalinist fashion, the Government is planning to force us to buy products whether we want them or not, writes Paul Homewood in TCW.
  • “New York moves to become first state to ban natural gas hook-ups” – New York leaders reached an agreement on the state’s 2024 budget which includes a future ban on natural gas hook-ups in new building construction, reports Fox News.
  • “The EU extends its censorship powers” – The European Commission announced its first list of designated Very Large Online Platforms (VLOPs) that will be subject to “content moderation” requirements and obligations to combat “disinformation” under the EU’s Digital Services Act (DSA), reports Brownstone.
  • “The revolt against the new elite” – Sociologist Matt Goodwin’s new book, Values, Voice and Virtue: The New British Politics, gives voice to the frustrations of the masses, according to Patrick West in Spiked.
  • “Carlson is ‘designed for the internet’” – UFC commentator and podcast host Joe Rogan is confident Tucker Carlson will move to, or create, an independent platform after being ousted from Fox News, according to the Epoch Times.
