Seize Property to Build Wind and Solar Farms, Says JP Morgan Chief

by Will Jones
6 April 2023 1:00 PM

The Chief Executive of JP Morgan has suggested that Governments should seize private land to build wind and solar farms in order to meet Net Zero targets. The Telegraph has the story.

Jamie Dimon, the longstanding boss of the Wall Street titan who donates to the Democratic Party, said green energy projects must be fast-tracked as the window for averting the most costly impacts of global climate change is closing.

In his annual shareholder letter, Mr. Dimon said: “Permitting reforms are desperately needed to allow investment to be done in any kind of timely way.

“We may even need to evoke eminent domain – we simply are not getting the adequate investments fast enough for grid, solar, wind and pipeline initiatives.”

Eminent domain is when a government or state agency carries out a compulsory purchase of private property for public use and compensates the asset holder.

The proposal is unusual, especially coming from the longest-serving chief executive of a Wall Street bank, and could stir controversy as states in the U.S. seek to crackdown on seizure orders.

In Iowa, state legislators on Monday passed a bill that aims to protect private property owners from eminent domain use by carbon pipeline companies.

Mr. Dimon said the war in Ukraine was redefining the way countries and companies plan for energy security.

He added: “The need to provide energy affordably and reliably for today, as well as make the necessary investments to decarbonise for tomorrow, underscores the inextricable links between economic growth, energy security and climate change. We need to do more, and we need to do so immediately.

“To expedite progress, governments, businesses and non-governmental organisations need to align across a series of practical policy changes that comprehensively address fundamental issues that are holding us back.

“Massive global investment in clean energy technologies must be done and must continue to grow year-over-year.”

Worth reading in full.

Does he also advocate seizing the property of rich men found to have facilitated the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein?

Dimon is about to have to testify under oath about that isn’t he. We might learn a bit more about that peodo ring.

In that case he may be trying to cloak himself in what he thinks is being virtuous as it appears being ‘green’ is all the rage.

I believe there is a very well known computer salesman currently masquerading as some sort of doctor who has amassed a few bob from drug sales who has huge land holdings in the USA and is very keen on fighting some sort of climate emergency. Perhaps Jamie Dimon could approach this regal personage.
Lord Bill of the Gates of Hell is his moniker.

I would hope so, but do you recall how the BLM riots appeared to have helped the Democrats, but perhaps something else was going on there.

I simply can’t fathom how so many people voted for Biden. Aside from the welfare scroungers and rabid woke tossers, there must have been lots of people you might chat to and they seem normal, who voted for him. Baffling.

Just proving that the climate scam is an excuse for a state land grab the Soviets would have been proud of!

One day, someone’s going to put a nuke in orbit and blow up enough satellites that the debris will destroy all the others and make it impossible put put new ones up there. Then they’ll go after the Earth-bound telecommunications cables. The communications revolution has allowed organisations such as JP Morgan, which are more now powerful than governments, to turn us into a global police state, overriding all Anglo-Saxon beliefs that make private property sacrosanct.

The tragedy is that the corporate-government complex has taken all the best aspects of modernity and turned it against us. People will be driven to wreck the best of industrial progress to put a stop to the abuse of modernity by the criminal globalist dictatorship.

Governments are already doing their masters’ bidding, pushing interest rates too high for borrowers, while inflating people’s life savings into nothingness. All this, having first used low interest rates to make borrowing easy while trashing people’s savings. At this rate they won’t need to seize people’s property, because they’ll force them out of it.

There’s a special, extra-hot poker waiting in Hell for these people.

Agreed. I’ve said for a long time, as Nineteen Eighty-Four and Brave New World comparisons have abounded, that Atlas Shrugged has presented the most accurate dystopia. Ayn Rand nailed not only the behaviour of the elitists but also their use of language.

Dimon is estimated to have a net worth of US$ 1,600,000,000. Perhaps the government could start by seizing some of his assets?

Of course, nothing to do with the fact that his company will provide the finance, and therefore reap the taxpayer subsidised returns for these projects. No i’m sure it’s all just from the goodness of his heart that he cares about the polar bears and the penguins so much.

It appears to be an intention to just seize it. But I expect there’ll be a special dispensation for Gates.

Is JP Morgan now a country and its CEO something like its benin bronzist in chief? When members of private clubs propose taking other people’s property by force, that’s usually called robbery and considered a crime.

I have a better idea, how about we seize all J. P. Morgan’s assets and use them to build wind and solar farms. If they are really so concerned about meeting Net Zero targets, I’m sure they would be glad to hand over the extreme wealth for the good of humanity. 😉

No the “Climate Emergency” does not apply to owners of helicopters. The “crisis” is only a crisis if you don’t have a helicopter. You simply jump in your own jet and purchase some trees to offset your sin.

In this case Jamie Dimon proves himself to be an idiot. Possibly a useful idiot. He shows a complete lack of wisdom and worldliness, but more importantly he appears to have no technical knowledge at all. He must have been completely captured by the likes of the following hysterics and simply because so many people are saying the same thing with passion it is assumed they must be saying something correct? Isn’t that how all those ‘witches’ were burned alive?

“This moment requires we the people to rethink democracy as a global mechanism for enacting policy for and by the planet.”
Daphne Muller Green-progressive-liberal writer for Salon

“We reject the idea of private property.”
Peter Berle President of the National Audubon Society

“The capitalistic systems of economy follow the one principal rule: the rule of profit making. All else must bow down to this rule…The current USA is an example of a failed capitalistic state in which essential long-term goals such as prevention of climate change and limitation of human population growth are subjugated to the short-term profit motive and the principle of economic growth.”
Jack Trevors Editor-in-Chief of Water, Air, & Soil Pollution

“It is the fight for a new economy, a new energy system, a new democracy, a new relationship to the planet and to each other, for land, water, and food sovereignty, for Indigenous rights, for human rights and dignity for all people. When climate justice wins we win the world that we want.”
Naomi Klein Anti-capitalism, pro-hysteria advocate of global warming

“The goal now is a socialist, redistributionist society, which is nature’s proper steward and society’s only hope.”
David Brower A founder of the Sierra Club

Maybe seize Bill Gates’ land first…after all he’s a climate change thrillionaire and I’m sure he’d donate his land for the cause. Honestly, these people really are the pits. They’re like leeches and parasites on any life-giving organism, sucking it dry with their empty, deadening plans and their cold lifeless hearts.

After confiscating these, CO2 emissions will be in free fall!

The Ukraine situation has given the phony planet savers the big excuse they needed to forge ahead even faster with their pseudo scientific crusade to take away affordable energy from the wealthy west and fob us off with unaffordable unreliable land intensive part time dumb energy that cannot provide base load. ——–Now they can add the need for “energy security” to their pretend to save the planet eco socialism since the Ukraine invasion caused world gas prices to rise, and boy have they seized that opportunity to force heat pumps that cannot cut it in cold countries on us all and get rid of our cars, forces us into busses and bicycles and the overall lowering of living standards that climate change is really about.——- All of this NET ZERO scam is apparently based on “science”. But what kind of science does not allow its employees to discuss anything other than the science approved by its employers, who when it comes to climate science is 99% the government? In science you question everything, you do NOT ban enquiry. The fact that scientists who do not bow down to authority are removed from their positions reveals one thing. This is NOT about science. Scientific truth is not decided by a show of hands from a bunch of government funded data adjusters. Or as someone once said “In science scepticism is the highest calling and blind faith the one unpardonable sin”.
