About the phone emergency alerts; I’m not surprised that Gyngell says “beware”, or that there a fair number of bloggers expressing concern/suspicions about them, because after the last 3 years, and the decades of govt activity before that which became visible as a result, it’s obvious that govt don’t care very much or at all about our health or safety, except in so far as it impacts our productivity, ability to consume and out levels of compliance, and therefore “emergency alerts” can not be about looking after us …
My own theory is that these alerts, and the pop-up box you have to click to acknowledge it before being able to resume normal phone activity, are about measuring the population’s digital ID and CBDC capability. ie what percentage of the population own a smart phone capable of being used for CBDC and digital ID purposes/processes and transactions.
If the number of people able to receive and acknowledge the alerts is considered high enough, meeting a certain threshold, they’ll push ahead with CBDC etc. And if it isn’t we may see a series of initiatives, incentives, etc designed to increase smart phone uptake.
Your analysis makes perfect sense. They couldn’t care less if we’re all drowned by some rogue monster tsunami but they do want to test the nation’s digital ‘presence’. Whatever they’re doing it’s probably not good. I wonder if there is a facility for replying to such an alert with a big F U?
About the forthcoming “emergency alerts” to be mass-tested on the 23rd:
The madness of the proposal lies in the near-certainty that these alerts will generate a worse emergency than the alleged “threat” they’re alerting us to. Imagine a fully-packed football stadium where all smart-phone holders receive a 10 minute siren sound, that they’re unable to ignore, at more or less the same time! The pandemonium that will ensue could be the makings of another Hillsborough disaster, as everyone panics and lunges for the nearest exit!
If you’re unable to change the emergency alert settings on your phone, as I am, I’ve just discovered that disabling WiFi and mobile data might work. Going to try it and see what happens on the 23rd. If no success, it’s new phone time!
This emergency alert crap is primarily a test of compliance.

I can’t turn off these alerts. I have a Samsung Galaxy and the toggle button for emergency alerts is greyed out so I can’t access the setting. Anyone have any ideas how to get around this?
I can change it on my Samsung. You may have tried this, but I went to Settings-Notifications-Advanced Settings-Wireless emergency alerts. I can toggle ‘Allow Alerts’ on and off. Good luck!

Another very good article from the Mid Western Doctor – his work is very thorough and insightful. The Swiss doctor has become quite trapped and as such rather annoying.
None of what he states here actually provides a basis for his conclusions or his many attacks.
What Heneghan and Jefferson argue for, PCR standardization, was clear by June 2020 and argued for by many then, including me here.
The fact that they not only never bothered to do so but abused the lack of it further and most egregiously by introducing different cts for gene therapied and not gene therapied people is a further, early and very strong indication that something else was going on and clear proof that they already had no good intentions by then.
Because, in contrast here to the lockdown, masks, treatments and vaccine indicators, this is so self-evident, logical, indisputable and simple to do, this deliberate omission is also probably the clearest conspiracy signal and confirmation, and the clearest debunking of the ‘just many cockups in a row’ theory.
Even if a test has 100% reliability, it is still not good practice to do mass-testing, except at the outset of an epidemic when there is some chance of containing it. But reliability is never, in practice, that high.
The Casedemic was just one, important, aspect of the testing problem. But ignorance of proper criteria for screening programmes was as important (as a BMJ letter co-authored by Sir Muir Gray, founder of the UK screening service, suggested during the scare).
I’d also bring up the small detail which is the motivation behind the encouragement and mandating of mass testing too, which we all know here was nothing whatsoever to to with tracking and controlling the spread of a deadly virus. I don’t need to spell out what the obvious intention was behind the whole PCR/LFT obsession, but suffice to say we’ve never ever mass tested for any other respiratory virus ( along with other unprecedented theatrical bollocks, such as masking, of course ) historically, so I think that’s another give away that the whole thing was a pure sham and Kabuki theatre. It worked though as they got the desired outcome didn’t they? They still sell the tests in the shops over here anyway..
