In this week’s episode of London Calling, James and I debate whether the current heatwave is evidence of global warming, if the Conservative Party leadership election is ‘rigged’ by the World Economic Forum, who is likely to win, the looming winter food shortages, the suspension of the Online Safety Bill, the motives of the global liberal elite who want to censor the Internet – are they liberal do-gooders who think they were put on earth to protect us from harm, or just plain evil? – and, in Culture Corner, How to Change Your Mind, the new Netflix documentary series about psychedelics drugs, The Terminal List, Hustle, and the talking book of Dune, which is surprisingly good.

Really enjoy it thank you. Listen every week since the beginning.
Always keep my fingers crossed that when you both have a different take on something you can listen to the others perspective. I think both James and Toby have done this in my own listening observation; a good influence on each other and little positive shifts made. Nuanced but for truth. It’s a great listen.
Toby building bridges for the folly do gooders and James standing at one side quite rightly demanding Stop who goes there’ perhaps between them both, their collaborative friendship of batting opinion around might help save the world.
I wish I could put a ‘love’ on this!
