- “Leaked NHS report shows waiting list hitting 9.2 million” – Before the pandemic hit, NHS England waiting lists were at a record high of 4.4 million. Three lockdowns later, they’ve risen to six million, and modelling for the NHS shows them rising to over nine million, writes Kate Andrews in the Spectator.
- “When Britons need GoFundMe to pay for surgery, it’s clear the NHS backlog is a political time bomb” – Waiting lists may be the pandemic’s hidden cost, but the problem has been brewing for years – and the Government has until 2024 to fix it, writes Natasha Loder in the Telegraph.
- “Are we doomed to be the sick man of Europe, Mr Javid?” – The Health Secretary needs to be much tougher with the NHS – this is literally a matter of life or death, writes Allison Pearson in the Telegraph.

- “A Health Public Policy Nightmare” – Vaccine spike protein and mRNA persist for two months in the body and production of spike protein is higher than in severely ill COVID-19 patients, according to a new study summarised by Dr. Robert Malone on his Substack page.
- “Why Sturgeon can’t apologise for Covid mistakes” – The Scottish nationalist project is built on the precarious assumption that its leaders are never wrong about anything, writes Tom Harris in the Telegraph.
- “Half-term travel: UK families avoid Spain over jab rules” – A rule barring unvaccinated over-12s means U.K. travellers are opting for Mexico and Turkey instead, reports BBC News.
- “Long Lockdown is destroying Britain” – Widespread reluctance to leave the Covid cocoon is toxic when combined with our ‘me, me, me’ culture, writes Matthew Lynn in the Telegraph.
- “Early ‘lab-grown’ Covid virus found in sample lends weight to Wuhan theory” – Hungarian scientists claim that samples of Antarctic soil sent to a Shanghai firm in 2019 became contaminated with an unknown variant that bridges the gap between bat viruses and SARS-CoV-2 – a find that appears to show the Chinese were aware of SARS-CoV-2 earlier than the end of December, reports the Telegraph.
- “Statistics show huge disparity in ‘official’ fatalities due to Covid” – Professor Robert Dingwall, a former U.K. Government Covid adviser, said ministers should scrap daily Covid statistics from the end of the month, reports the Mail.
- “Jabbing young kids for Covid won’t ‘make much difference’ expert says” – Jabbing healthy children between five and 11 years of age “won’t make much difference” in the U.K., an expert has said, as the Government’s vaccine advisory body gets set to reveal its position soon, reports the Mail.

- “Can Macron really lecture Putin about democracy?” – It doesn’t appear to have yet dawned on Macron and many other western leaders that the days of dispensing lessons in democracy to despots are over – in the French Republic, the land of liberty, equality and fraternity, millions of people are still unable to eat in a restaurant, go to the cinema or play for their sports team, all because they believe in bodily autonomy, writes Gavin Mortimer in the Spectator.
- “NHS England deletes misleading Covid stats video” – Earlier this month, NHS England tweeted out a video to its half million followers to promote the Covid vaccine among children that it has now deleted because it was full of inaccurate statistics, such as that 1% of infected children are hospitalised(!), writes Robert Hughes in UnHerd.

Same rules there about profanity and abuse?
Note that two of the questions require NO to them.
‘How to live with covid’ – thanks, but I’ll manage. I survived being Catholic and left handed. Both of which have been far more lethal historically speaking than the dreaded C.
And now for something completely different.
In the words of an unknown sage, sometime or another: No man can be counted as defeated while he retains his capacity for laughter.
Thanks you – I needed that right now.
Yep – should have just been “Thank you”, but that’s the way it goes. So double thanks then!
I’m doubly grateful!

“Modelling for the NHS shows them (waiting lists) rising to over nine million…”
Erm, modelling? Haven’t we had enough of that already? Either it is used to scare the wits out of the feeble minded, or to provide an excuse for TPTB when things turn out differently. “Hey, waiting lists are only at 8 million, when the predictions said 9 million. So aren’t we wonderful to have cut a million off the lists? We told you to listen to us and everything would work out fine. Here’s the proof.”
The more apocalyptic the prediction, the more money showers on the Hell Service.
We’ve failed, reward us with more of your money
“We’re going to arrest anyone who brings gas”
I knew I should have bought shares in jerrycans.
But fascists are incorrigible. What’s the betting that Trudeau will tell the police that empty cans are to be interpreted as terrorist weapons, and anyone seen carrying one must be arrested on sight?
Shortly before his regime collapsed, Ceausescu had all the typewriters in Romania inspected and registered so that the regime could tell who had been typing anti-Ceausescu messages.
Quem deus vult perdere prius delirat.
Wonder why they are empty? These are not the normal sized jerry cans we see here. However, they are almost flapping aroundin the wind.
It’s just a decoy to bamboozle and piss off the police. They can’t apprehend everyone carrying a jerry can.
Videos today showing police seizing fuel once more from the truckers, despite yesterday a judge ruling it’s unlawful and they had to return them to the individuals. They did that but most of them were watered down. What gets me is if any civilian was caught red-handed stealing somebody else’s property that’d be a criminal offence, but the police are allowed to break their own laws and become criminals themselves by doing just that…all whilst arresting the public for delivering supplies to the truckers. Is it possible to be more hypocritical or disproportionate?? It’s turned into a lawless city it would seem.
It warms my heart to see so many people carrying empty gas cans in order to make these seizures and arrests more difficult to enforce.
Half-term travel: UK families avoid Spain over jab rules BBCSaw these on a link for expats. The only reply was something like Spaniards suffered enough without having hordes of unvaccinated Brits bringing another wave of infections?
Are these expats really that brain washed?
If the vaccination(s) are that good then Spain should open it’s border to all because something like 90%n of the population is vaxxed, including children.
Those who travel to anywhere in Europe would still need to have a negative certificate so how can so called unvaxxed spread Covid?
The responderforgot that all those living in Europe and are unvaxxed can still get into the country.
If you tavel by car in Europe you do not need any certification, vaxxed or not.
They also forget that vaxxed can spread this around too.
I am done with my minor rant about idiot expats.
Again and again we see it. The “unvaccinated” must be avoided, persecuted and oppressed – because the “vaccines” don’t work!
They will suffer without “hordes” of “unvaccinated Brits” spending their money on their hard – earned two weeks in Majorca and Costa Del Sol.
Dr Malone’s sub-stack article is very worrying, yet unsurprising.
The irony, The first minister of Wales has tested positive https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-politics-60332828

Hmm, strange how so many ‘leaders’ have tested ‘positive’ recently. No tears from me on their behalf – I don’t give a fig – but what are they up to now?

“It’s not going to stop. They have you fixed in their targets and there’s only one goal … to wipe you out. And here’s why. Because if they can take you out, they’ll take everyone of us out. Inspiring as well as amusing to see so many people carrying empty gas cans to confound enforcement of the “no carrying fuel to the truckers” edict.
By putting pressure on the mandate-advocates, the truckers are giving hope to freedom lovers around the globe. Stay strong, truckers!
The video of the citizens carrying empty gas cans reminds me of the scene from “V for Vendetta” where thousands of people are wearing Guy Fawkes masks, or the scene from Spartacus where everyone stands up and says “I am Spartacus”.
I support them wholeheartedly.
