Ian Rons isn't convinced by Seymour Hersh's latest 'scoop' and suspects a Russian intelligence asset may have tricked the investigative journalist into publishing anti-Ukraine propaganda.
According to a new report in the Times, German investigators are "unconvinced" that Russia was responsible for the Nord Stream sabotage, and are “exploring fresh leads in a theory implicating Ukraine”.
Yesterday evening, news that “pro-Ukraine saboteurs” may have been responsible for the Nord Stream sabotage was simultaneously reported by at least four Western newspapers. But should we believe it?
While Seymour Hersh's account of the Nord Stream sabotage should be taken seriously, the Ukrainians are the most likely culprits. According to analyst Fiona Hill, "Ukraine could have found a way of doing this".
