The Daily Sceptic's Laurie Wastell was astounded to be invited onto the BBC to put his case that Lucy Connolly is a political prisoner – and even more astounded to find he was given a fair hearing.
Lucy Connolly, who was jailed for 31 months over a tweet during last summer's riots, has again been refused leave to spend time with her daughter and sick husband in a move said to "confirm" she is a political prisoner.
The ban on Lucy Connolly being permitted temporary release from jail to see her young daughter and sick husband is unprecedented, says David Shipley. Even murderers get that. The instruction must have come from higher up.
The wife of a Tory councillor gets 31 months for a tweet, yet a pro-Palestinian thug, who led a knife-wielding mob in an assault on a pub, gets 20 months. And from the same judge! Two Tier justice much?
