The man responsible for imposing the world's longest lockdown – 'Dictator' Dan Andrews of the State of Victoria – has been given Australia's top honour in King Charles's Birthday Honours roll.

New Zealand’s Government has awarded 'damehood' to its former PM Jacinda Ardern for “leading the country through the Covid pandemic” – despite deaths currently running 25% above average.
Last week, AstraZeneca CEO Pascal Soriot, whose Covid vaccine has led to reports of 875,000 adverse effects in the UK, including 1,334 deaths, was knighted "for services to UK sciences" and "leadership in the pandemic".
